  Smiling warmly, Amelia waved off the girl's polite words. She had a good feeling about her daughter's care around the slyph, although they'd only met that evening, and was more than happy to accept her brother's words as truth. She hoped that someday she would have the opportunity to speak with Rina again, but having a trip off campus and back to the city preoccupied her plan for the rest of the night. "Well, goodnight!" she whispered cheerfully before flashing a grin and walking out of the dorm room.
Expecting the abrupt exit, as he knew by now how Amy's though proccess worked, Andrew waved to both his sister and niece before watching the door open and close. Having a pleasant attitude at the day's events, he face the slyph as he asked, "And you were worried what she would think?"

 This Is For Real,
Unbothered by the sudden leave, she simply smiled and raised a hand to wave. "Good night." she responded, the door closing quietly behind the other girl. Turning to Andrew, she was about to speak when he asked a question. "Yes. I was." she confirmed, smiling faintly. She shrugged, her hands crossing over her stomach. "She very easily could have disliked me. she informed him, her voice returning to a more normal tone. "She still might, you know. She's just too nice to say it to my face." she continued, whispering as if there were a conspiracy.

Shaking his head, Andrew raised a hand to point out, "I highly doubt it would be easy to dislike you. Especially when you cared so well for Lyn." Listening to her hushed and almost secretative tone, he smiled faintly, answering in an equal tone of thought and suspicion. "Really? But she's always been so forward."{ooc: n/a}

Smiling, she shrugged at his statements. "I never said it was rational." she pointed out, though she felt much better now. If what Andrew said was true, it was unlikely that the other girl didn't like her. She shook her head, however, at his first statement. "It's very easy to dislike me. It happens more often than you'd think." she admitted, her smile unwavering as she divulged the information. "Though I suppose I do have to admit you were right. Your niece is adorable." her smile broadened, her hands resting loosely on her hips.

Being completely satisfied with the meeting between Rina and Amelia, a scoff sounded from his throat as he tried to imagine the princess having any sort of enemy. His smiled reappeared quickly at the mention of his very cute and irristable niece, and it was clear that the slyph had a helpful knack with chidren, prompting him to mention, "You handled her very well." Running a hand through his hair absently, he was once again aware of the time. Not wanting to be the reason that delayed her from returning, Andrew offered lightly, "Shall I help you to your dorm?" He didn't want to stop talking with the slyph so abruptly, and felt this might be a nice way to wind down a conversation. Lowering his voice to the conspiratual tone, he whispered jokingly, "I heard it can be rather dangerous."

Waving a hand at his statement, she shakes her head a moment in disagreement, but lets it pass. At his offer, her expression brightens, and she nods in assent. Laughing quietly at his conspiratorial tone, she nods again in agreement. "Oh yes, quite dangerous. And you won't even be there for the most dangerous part." she matched his tone, enjoying this game they always seemed to play. "It is always dangerous to return to the Realm of the Roommate." she informed him, the grimace on her face not at all forced; she wasn't much looking forward to returning, but the trip back wouldn't be nearly as dreadful with Andrew at her side.

His tone still held a forced amount of suspicion, but it was clear that his smile told that he was simply enjoying thier game. While twisting the knob and opening his room's door, he rested one hand on the small of her back, gently guiding her out as he responded. "A fair lady as yourself shouldn't have fear of such an..interesting realm. His attempt of speaking properly held a fair amount of underlying laughter, knowing that it was an act; but never thinking that he was actually speaking with a female who did know how to speak so well.

Raising an eyebrow at his statement, she wonders briefly if he knew; she hadn't told him, so the chance was slim, and after a few moments of thought, she assumed they were still speaking hypothetically. "Ah, but a true lady normally has a warrior husband by my age." she pointed out, smiling faintly. She didn't know just how much Andrew knew about Sylphs, or even if he knew Rina was older than she appeared. She assumed not, and mentally shrugged it off. It was all hypothetical, and she allowed him to steer her out. Taking a small lead, she sets off for her dorm.
