I plan on moving to some place right between Oregon and Washington. Probably in Washington, because you can get land cheaper there. Of course, I've been sales-tax free as long as I can remember, so I might want to stay over on the Oregon side. Perhaps a marshier area. There are a lot of those around Oregon City. If I could get 20 acres, I wouldn't have to much trouble changing it to a liveable area. I'd just have to do some clearing of invasive plants like blackberries, and some redirection of water. Houses right by streams are nice, and with a mixture of oak trees and terraces, I could probably make either one extremely nice house and lot or a number of valuable houses and lots.

My backyard is like a 1/4 acre.

Yeah.
Liveable, that's worth about 5 million dollars in this area.
Unliveable (wetlands, overgrowth) it's only worth about $500,000.

Hell yes we do Well, relatively cold We just don't get snow But you still have to wear a coat :3 It's not like hot all year or anything It's only just starting to get up into the 90s : P Which, so I've heard, feels like the 70s and 80s do in other states Since we have no humidity It's a dry heat cool lol@snowbirds So you don't get snowdays?

No ;-; And no heat days, either We just have to deal with having school I like it, though It's nice ^^

I don't see why you'd need to be rich to make a 4.5 million dollar profit off a hunk of land. Between massive bank loans and shitloads of work, I could get it done with relatively little cost, and a huge revenue.

Well, it would if I were doing something else. Basically, all I'd need is a shitload of rocks, lots of concrete, and a bulldozer.
