Takeru sighed and rolled his eyes. That Tachibana was a odd one but in a very interesting way. Going to his first period of class he ended up meeting up with his friend, hearing about how he could ditch him for the pink haired freak, blah blah blah, how could he put aside their friendship to hang out with that outcast idiot, blah blah blah, why didn't he just say that he was going to do so, blah blah blah. That's what he was hearing.
Half of the words and then the rest blah, blah blah. It was then that he walked past his first period to a secluded stop until he grabbed his "friend" by the collar of his shirt to slam him against the wall. "How about this? Shut the f*ck up about him. He has a name and it's Tachibana. I'm sure the reason why he's an outcast is because you made him feel that way. If you ever disrespect him again, I'm going to rip out your spine and choke you with it." There was a calmness in the way he said it that made it all frightening. His friend nodded slightly and pushed Takeru back.
Walking away, Take ran a hand through his hair. Damnit, where was all this protective sh*t coming from? Obviously Tachibana could defend himself yet...Something in him snapped or at least his feathers were ruffled enough that he was going to beat his friend up. Finally he entered his first period class on time which was a first and sat there more alert than ever to keep his mind off wanting to kill his friend for talking sh*t about him.

 Tachibana, on the other hand, was being harrassed by Yaoi-loving school girls. Who asked him non-stop questions about if they did some naughty stuff last night or what happened, and even if Takeru.....raped him. Tachi ran into the boys bathroom and hid there for awhile. He was sort of feeling threatened by those girls who said that they would stalk him for now on. He was alittle scared. Once the bell rang, he sprinted like crazy to his first period, when he ran in, he was panting slightly, going to his seat and resting his head.

Take's first period went slow. The whole time he was either getting interesting looks, snide looks or hearing whispers about Takeru and Tachibana. Those whispers were grating on his nerves. He was hoping to god that his step brother wasn't suffering from it. If he was then he was going to put a stop to if somehow.
Thankfully the bell rang for second period and that one went by fast until third period came around. It was the period that he had classes with Tachibana. It also had his best friend in there too who kept giving him glares and starting up those whispers. That was okay, all he cared about was making sure that Tachibana wasn't harassed by anyone. If they layed a finger on him then he was going to break it.

Tachibana was oblivious to the chatter and the whispers, but it was Takeru's friend's glare that kept him from thinking straight. He turned to his attention to Takeru and then slightly nudged him, which was new. "Why are we being glared at....kind of drives me crazy...I can't think.." He said, noting the evil eye that the friend was giving them. They were step-brothers...they would be soon, so he just tried his best to concentrate on the lesson. with 10 minutes left in class it was time to continue discussing the project due in two weeks.

Take sighed and shook his head. "I'll tell you when no one is around. I would hate for someone who's nosy near us know the reason why that idiot is glaring." He whispered and hoped they had a chance to talk and no chances of confrontations from anyone. Though life in high school was no picnic so anything was game. "Hang with me at lunch. We can go to the cafe or something out of school to talk." He whispered even softer that only Tachi could hear and no one else if they tried.

Tachibana sighed and then fell asleep five minutes from the end. When the bell rang, he woke up and then checked if he was drooling. Which he wasn't, thank goodness. He packed up and then waited for Takeru, now it was their lunch period, so he waited by the wall of the class room as the looks and whispers kept going, but those girls who chased him at the beginning of the day popped up out of nowhere, asking him more and more questions. HE couldn't tell a girl to back off or threatened them, so he just waited, shaking his head to every question.

Gathering his things, Take stood up and scowled at the sight of all those girls crowding on Tachibana. So instead of being picked on by his "friends" he was picked on by dumb b*tches. Great, just great. Shaking his head, the young man walked over to push the girls aside and gave them a glare.
"Haven't you all anything better to do? Like say open your legs for the football team?" He asked rudely, grabbing Tachibana's arm and dragging him away from them and towards the exit so they could find some sort of peace out of all of this. "You alright?"

Tachibana resisted a smile or to snicker when Takeru came and told them off, they watched the boys go, but Tachi heard a shierk come from all of them. Probably saying only his lover would do that. He shuddered alittle and then, but the feeling went away once they and everyone else was out of sight and Takeru asked if he was ok. "I'm ok...now." He said, glad to be away from those girls.

Takeru shook his head and smiled at Tachibana slightly. "Hey, if it helps I almost beat the hell out of my ex friend." He said, telling him what was said between them as well as the threat he had given his buddy. "If he or anyone else bothers you, let me know. No one should have to deal with that. Including you since you did nothing wrong." He said, sounding a bit possessive for some reason.

Tachibana snickered then about Takeru's best...ex best friend being threatened. He sighed after though. Good and bad, his friend would be after him, and the good part was that Takeru was here and.....why does that boy being around make Tachi feel good and safe, not now, but before....after he got his jacket. He saw a different side of him that night, and he had to be such a child and act the same way he does at school. Now I hate myself....what is up with me?! He thought, nodding to what Takeru said so he'd think that Tachi was listening.

Tachi led them to a nice cafe, opening the door for the young boy and found a secluded booth at the very back that was quite lonely but it was just perfect so that they could have privacy. "Order whatever you want on the menu, alright? It's my treat." He said being oddly nice to somone he barely knew.

Tachibana looked at what was avaliable and then at Takeru. "Thanks.." He said, ordering sweets, lots of them. It was another habit, only when he felt just too good with himself. His sweet tooth would activate and then he would go bilistic with it, for cookies mostly.

Take blinked at Tachi. He had never known anyone to like sweets like this young man. He liked sweets but he prefered spicy food. Takeru loved spicy food. "Your welcome and um...You don't have diabetes in your family right?" He asked in a teasing tone about all the sweets Tachi was ordering.

Tachibana was biting a cookie when Takeru was talking to him. He blinked twice and then looked down when he asked if his family...anyone in his family had diabetes. "Nope! Especially not me....." He said, smiling alittle and then finishing the cookie. What he was saying was that this happens alot and he doesn't have Diabetes. He put most of the sweets into the bag. He had a slice of a cake.

Blinking, Takeru nodded and chuckled. "Alright then. I guess it's okay for you to eat that much sweets." It was at least another thing he learned about Tachi since last night. "Hey um....Would you like to come over tonight? You know to start working on the project at least?" He asked clearing his throat and sipping his soda. Man for some reason he couldn't be a smooth talking with this young man. Why?
