Pharos turned around, nuzzling her one last time before escaping from the den. Escaping was the wrong word. He did not know how he had not been able to imagine this happening. He had come here, chasing after a BCR frantically, and there she was, his flower maiden. He had thought he'd be going home with a heart singing for her, but not with her. But here he was, promising to return home. Their home. Home to his beautiful mate.
His mate.
Oh, how lucky he was.

Ocianna watched him leave the den, then couldn't help but poke her head out of the den and follow him with her gaze until he disappeared over the horizon. "Pharos....." She smiled softly as she sat there in the entrance to the cave that for so many years she had kept up by herself, but she didn't have to do that anymore. Pharos had come into her life, warmed her heart with love. Now she couldn't imagine ever living without him.
"Come back home to me safely...." She whispered onto the wind. "Our home..." A soft smile touched her lips as she leaned against the cold cave walls and sighed happily.
