Rune chuckled a bit as he kissed the top of her head and went to sleep as well, keeping Serenity safe.

"Stay here." Rune said as he gently lifted her off of him and walked to the window. He saw a massive crater. "That's strange." he said as the window broke and he was dragged down onto the street.

Rune was within the grasp of another demon, and it was a lot bigger than he was.

"Rune!" Serenity cried "Be careful!" she shouted, she was worried, she didn't want to watch him

Rune was thrown at a far distance and crashed into a car. His eyes glowed red as he charged at the other demon, with death in his eyes. He slammed the demon onto the ground, leaving a huge whole on the ground.

Serenity couldn't watch anymore, she sat beneath the window
(I was hoping the demon would capture her...)

Moments later, Rune was sent flying into the air and crashed into the earth. The demon then looked up to where Serenity was and grabbed her.

Serenity screamed, "Rune! Help me!" she struggled in the Demon's arms

Rune heard Serenity's screams of help and a huge blast of red aura surrounded him. He walked to the demon with death in his eyes. "Let...her...go..." he said, threatning the demon. The demon charged at Rune as well. Almost in an instant, Rune punched the demon in its gut, forcing him to let go of Serenity. Rune qiuckly grabbed onto Serenity and rested her on the ground. He stared at her with his eyes bright yellow. "Stay here. I'll finish this."

Serenity laid on the had concrete ground, happy Rune would go through so much to save her. Her eyes flickered as she looked at Rune and passed out

Rune looked up at the demon, death in his eyes. He charged at it and gave it the final death blow. After the battle was finally over, Rune took Serenity to a hospital, hoping she would be okay.
