Zyke: Hp: 675/877 rKp: 2789/1077 mKp: 0/1782

Zyke's hair turned golden and his aura began to turn gold as he went through the super saiyan transformation. The sky began to show the tell-tale darkening of the super saiyans fearsome initial transformation. The iris and pupil of his eyes never returned though, even though he had made the transformation by all means, but he the transformation hadn't ceased yet. The aura that was building around him began to turn from gold, to white. His hair began to slowly fade to white, imitating the transformation of the aura. Zyke could feel the anger and primal rage of the natural Super Saiyan form begin to quell, subsiding to a different sort of feel. A blast of ki shot upward into the sky above Zyke, a practical tower of energy piercing into the heavens. The dark sky cleared into it's original from, as Zyke's transformation finished, his eyes closing as the climax of his transformation came to a close.
His aura wisped around his feet, not taking the appearance of a generic ki aura, but rather leaving a trail of aura wherever Zyke had tread. He took a few steps forward and raised his head toward the sky. facing straight at his airborne opponent. He opened his eyes, revealing irises of a piercing violet, gazing straight at his foe. Zyke looked straight forward at his enemy, not feeling any contempt or hatred compelling him to destroy him, but rather just a feeling of natural need. It was like it was his basic instinct to destroy his current foe at hand, and nothing more. Zyke raised one hand toward the sky, a sphere of shimmering, silver ki manifesting in his palm. He grasped the orb with his fingers, tendrils of ki beginning to lick their way off the orb as sparks began to skitter their way all over Zyke's arm up to his chest. Zyke was going to destroy this being in front of him right here, and right now.

There are times in this universe, where one must step into the roles they were destined to play. Selena had stepped into hers earlier than most. Her maternal instincts had finally kicked in after this child had been thrust upon her. one thing was certain though. she would be the best mother she could, and defend her child always. she would sooner go to hell than have Lite fall to the Tenkuu no Houou's enemies. she laid Lite down to sleep in a corner of the medical bay (since the barracks had been destroyed on impact.), and set out exploring this strange new place. she could however, sense familiar ki on the horizon, which upon further thought, was Zyke.Using her Ki sense as a guide, she flew off towards the focal point of this ki.

Arin misjudged the creature's speed. Her tiny, regal fist found its way toward the opponent, though. The creature must have misjudged its own speed, as well, or at least its opponent's intentions. Arin's fist plunged through the raptor's teeth, which were closed prematurely. The impact sent shards of the creature's viciously strong teeth into the animal's mouth, and Arin's fist into its palette. She felt a surge of accomplishment, despite the damage her hand had taken. The most damage she took from the attack, however, was in wresting her arm (for, to be sure, the entire limb fit in the creature's mouth) As she ripped (quite literally) her arm from the raptor's mouth, the animal retained its lockjaw. Arin's arm came out looking as if she'd taken a liking to cutting. Razorblade lines were etched into her otherwise porcelain skin, the blood trickling in streams down the limb, falling from the knuckles that had been split while she shattered the beast's maw. But there was something else mixed in... There was the black blood of the monster. Arin had injured it. "So you can die... You're nothing special at all, are you?" The Queen sneered, bringing a fist back to uppercut the creature under its freshly-wounded jaw, blood of both combatants flying, black and red droplets against the blue sky and blue earth.
Interesting... Maybe she has some hope after all. Querrellous ME watched the fight, remembering when his group had fought the Terre... He had been the only one who passed... But not because the rest of his team had died. No, in fact they were all still alive, in a way. Back then, the rules had been much different. Before the coming of Him, the Thirteen Rites were a far different ordeal... Of course, Arin wouldn't take all of the tests... She was on a different path, to be sure. But on the topic of the Rites... Querrellous' Rites were all governed by Aurrellious ME... The greatest M'Erian to ever live, despite his being prone to violating the Traditions. A good thing, too... We would not be here if not for him... He, sadly, was dead, as well as his eleven greatest students... Leaving Querrellous alone to rebuild the M'Erian civilization... It was Querrellous' punishment, for his failure.

Arin felt a searing slash her up the front as the entire beast was sent sprawling into the open air, to crash into the grass several yards away. She stood, watching momentarily before she coughed involuntarily, tasting her own blood on her lips. She looked down at her chest and observed the damage. A single, long talon was protruding from under the left half of her ribcage. Her breathing was shortened by the pressure on her lung. She gasped painfully for breath. "Well, ********> Arin spit a large amount of bright red blood onto the blue grass, acting quickly and ripping the talon (which was as long as her forearm) from the flesh of of her abdomen, gritting her teeth and breathing determinedly through the urge to scream. She was shaking, but she would be fine. The wound, of course, would not be fatal. No saiyan of Arin's caliber could be killed by such a trivial wound. It didn't even hit a major organ... Arin let the talon fall to the earth, where it impaled itself in the soil. She cracked her neck and rolled her shoulders as the animal (who had since righted itself) came charging back at her. Arin might have noted that if it kept this up long enough, it wouldn't have any weapons left to end the fight. Arin had officially quashed her fear. The only emotion in her body now was anger... Spite... She wanted to destroy the beast. Not to prove herself, not to survive, but for the sake of ending its life.
Querrellous watched in astonishment as the girl pulled a Terre's talon from her gut and went on with life as if nothing had happened. Surely she was in pain? Surely she must be worried about her life? But no, the bleeding was minimal, even... Querrellous watched as the child ripped a giant hole in her flesh, but the blood that should have poured freely from the injury hardly trickled. The Words were returned to him... He remembered them, and he watched the Rite unfold. He smiled in his M'Erian way, remembering again his time with the Terre... When his team had been told that only one would survive the ordeal by a Master who was never wrong... and how his team had performed their Death Rites before departing... For Querrellous, it was his first Proving... The others were various distances along in their Rites... But Querrellous survived... Through no ability of his own...

The girl with two green eyes spun and backhanded the beast in the jawbone, being caught by the raptor's tail, which laid across her and sent her flying several yards away from her opponent, who, itself, had been staggered and sent rolling from the impact. Both parties were showing the damage from the battle... Arin had picked up another souvenir. She lay on her back in the sea of grass, looking down to see one of the beast's tail spikes embedded in her shoulder. It was a difficult, painful matter to dig her fingers in around the object and rip it out of her, but it was a sensation she was slowly becoming familiar with. "I'M GETTING REALLY TIRED OF THIS!!!!"
Querrellous chuckled, watching bemusedly as Arin fought a creature that she didn't understand. The Terre preyed on fear, and fear alone. This made it an excellent predator, but with the animals it fought (the M'Erian's included) a human-like circulatory system was absent. There was no central blood-pumping mechanism in any creature on M13... Instead, the circulatory system is moved along by the actual vessels. As the vessels contract and expand, they move blood through the system much like an intestine moves waste. This proves more efficient for them in their high-gravity planet, and their high-pressure underwater environments. All of that said, it is not out of faulty design that the spikes and talons of the Terre lodge themselves in their opponent. It is by design. The muscles that control the flowing of their blood cannot pump (and more importantly, close off damaged sections of the system) if they cannot move, and they cannot move if they are pinned in place. Being hit in a vessel by a Terre's spike can spell death if the M'Erian does not pull it out quickly enough, but once they do, they can seal the section off entirely until it is healed. Arin had the instincts of an M'Erian, despite being an alien, although, from the appearances of this fight, her circulatory system could have been M'Erian... She hardly bled at all, and only slightly, even from the deepest wounds.

Arin managed to evade what appeared to be the flailings of a creature at its limit. She leaped over the head of the animal, spinning as it gnashed its teeth at where she had been. She balled her blood-covered fist up and aimed it at the creature's forehead, and she felt the thud of a solid strike travel up her arm, sending her into the air further. She was roughly seventeen feet up at this point, watching the animal struggle beneath her. She spread her arms to gain control of her orientation, arching her back as she slowly turned a backflip, aiming to have her feet down when she landed.
Querrellous watched as Arin took charge of the fight. She seemed to have mastered her fear... That was more than Querrellous could have said when he had first fought the Terre. While Arin's attacker had been rendered little more than a rambling mass of muscle, Querrellous' monster had been sharp-witted to the end. Querrellous had been the one of his group who had found out the secret of the Terre... He told his friends once the challenge started, but it made little difference. The group had been thrown into the trees on their mission... And in their stumbling flight, they fell through a hole... Directly into the den of the Terre. There were two Terre fully grown, and a full six-strong generation of Terrelings... His group took shelter... And the Terre all attacked the small crevice that they had secreted themselves inside. It was then that his friends and he had found the truth; they would all die... And with a silent agreement (which left Querrellous out of the agreement,) the older members of the group sacrificed their forms to merge with Querrellous, empowering him with the strength of the group, under the assumption that since Querrellous knew the most about the Terre, he would have the most chance to survive.
