As Nalla's father gave a toast, he reached his hand beneath the table and grasped his mate's, giving it a proud squeeze. He could tell how much her father's praise meant to her.
Their hands remained clasped as they walked home. "That wasn't very bad at all," he said. "Your father seemed incredibly happy for you, and for good reason. You really held yourself up well."

 Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla looks to Taneir and gives him a small smile as they walk back to their home. She gave his hand a light squeeze as she spoke. "I only held myself together so that I wouldn't disappoint your or embarrass you. I want you to be able to fit in with my village and you wouldn't have been able to if I didn't show them that I have some backbone." She shook her head and slipped her hand from his to open up their door, waving Taneir inside before she closed and locked the door. She looked about and soon spoke. "Taneir, go ahead and relax on the bed while I get something special ready for you."

Taneir chuckled. "I appreciate the concern, but I'm guessing I'll start really fitting in once I begin to show..."
As he sat on the bed, he thought back on the day's events and placed a hand on his stomach. A family was really coming to him now. And even though the conditions were so strange, it still felt... perfect, somehow.

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla walked into the bathroom and started running the water, making it a soothing warm temperature. She added some scented soap to it and put out some candles and lit them. As she waited for the tub to fill she stood inside of the bathroom and lightly hummed to herself.
Once the tub was full she turned the water off and walked out into the bedroom and wrapped a small strip of fabric around Taneir's eyes.
"Close your eyes and hold onto my hand dear. I want this to be a surprise for you." She waited for him to agree to it and when he did she lead him from the bedroom into the bathroom, the steam already warming up the room. She removed the blindfold and smiled to him, wanting to see what his reaction was to the dimly lit room. It was lit only with the glow of the candles and the smell from the tub was wafting through the room. "Once you get in I will get something for you to snack on. I want you to relax and enjoy this dear."

Taneir could feel the moisture in the air as he was led into the room and saw the inviting display in front of him once the blindfold was removed.
"You don't have to pamper me so much," he said. "I'm going to be strong for you through all this, I swear. Still, it looks really nice..." He tested the water with a hand.

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla gave Taneir a small as she spoke. "I know I don't have to but I want to. I want to make sure you are able to relax as much as possible. You don't have to be strong for me dear, you need to be strong for yourself and the babies." Nalla helps Taneir into the tub after he gets undressed. Once Taneir is comfortable Nalla runs into the kitchen and grabs a tray of different fruits, dips, vegetables, and small finger sandwiches and brings it into the bathroom and sets in on a small side table near the tub. "Just relax and tell me what you want and I will feed it to you dear. I want to make you happy tonight." ((In the next few posts do you want to skip ahead to when Taneir is about to have the children? And do you want him to have all three without losing a single one? Maybe we could have him have all three because Nalla pampered him so much during the pregnancy he didn't risk the children at all.))

Taneir boggled at the array of food brought in, and finally grasped Nalla's hand as she was about to leave for more. "I have everything I need. I just want you here now. You're the one that makes me happy."

Time Skip To The Coming Birth Of The Children!  Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla cuddled with Taneir on their bed, her hands lightly rubbing against him very large stomach. They both knew that any day now he would go into labor, and she just prayed that they wouldn't lose a single child. She moved to lightly rest her head on the side of his stomach, wanting to hear the heartbeats of their children, to assure herself that they were all alright. She nuzzled her cheek against Taneir's stomach and smiled up to him as her tail, wrapped around one of Taneir's legs, twitched occasionally. "I can't wait to see all of our children. I am so excited but also nervous. Are you sure you are alright? You don't need anything to eat or drink?" She knew that once Taneir started showing signs of being in labor that she would have to rush to get the doctor here to perform the c-section. She just hoped that he would be able to get here quickly. She knew that she was just worrying for nothing because the doctor and a few of the other males, as well as her father, were never to far from her home. They all knew Taneir was getting closer and closer to his due date. So she knew that if she opened their front door some of the males would rush in to help prepare Taneir and some would rush to get her father and the doctor.

Taneir stroked Nalla's ears as she rested her head against his swollen belly, their children lightly stirring against her cheek. "I'm fine, love. Please try to stay calm." Inside, however, Taneir was just as nervous. Slowly growing was completely new to him, as had been the mood swings and cravings. The first time one of the babies kicked was even more out of this world.

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla smiled up to Taneir and softly purred to their children when they would stir in his stomach. She loved how they reacted when she purred to them and would giggle occasionally when Taneir would laugh because one of the children somehow tickled him. "I am trying to stay calm, but I am worried. Your due date is coming up in the next few days. I don't want to be caught off guard and have to go rushing around to get those that will be helping. But I will try for you to remain as calm as I can." Nalla moved up and lightly kissed Taneir on the lips before resting her head on his shoulder. She knew that the children could come at any minute because as the due date had grown closer the hormones that control the production of breast milk had started to react and produce the milk for their children. She rested her head on his shoulder and softly purred and hummed as she just cuddled with Taneir. She had made sure that Taneir had been pampered and taken care of, that he hadn't needed to life a single finger to do anything. And she hoped that because of this they wouldn't lose any of their children.

Taneir smiled. "I think our children will be healthy. I've felt all of them moving all this time, as you refused to let me do anything and just get fat." He smirked and kissed Nalla on top of the head. "I've, er... noticed you've gotten a little bigger, too... Will you be all right feeding three?"

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla smiled and blushed a little at his last words but nodded her head. "I think we will be able to manage them all. If we need to I can bottle some milk so that you can feed one or two while I feed the other one or two." She gave Taneir's arm a small smack at his first words but kissed the spot she had smacked and just laughed a little. "I didn't let you get fat, you grew to accommodate the three children growing inside of you dear. I didn't want you to do anything, I want to see if pampering the father while he is pregnant might give us better results when it comes time to birth them." Nalla kisses Taneir and just holds him in her arms, wanting to relax here with him before the stress of caring for three children overwhelms them both.

Taneir sighed happily. "You still did an impressive job, if I can say so myself." He took her hand and placed it on the other side of his middle, where the small bulge of a foot was pressing against him. "And of course I'll help you feed the children. We only have two arms each, after all."
He looked at her silently for a second. "Nalla. Would you like to feel a bit what it's like to be pregnant?"

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla smiled as she held him and when he took her hand and moved it to where a foot was pressing against him she smiled and lightly pressed back, wanting to see if the child would kick back in response. At his words she looked up to him and nodded. "That is true, I can't possibly feed all three and neither can you so we will have to share the responsibility." When Taneir looked to her, silently for a little she got worried that he was already going into labor but at his words she tilted her head in the confused manner that she normally did. "H-How can I feel what its l-like to be p-pregnant?" By the tone of her voice Taneir could tell that Nalla would give anything to not only know what it was like to be pregnant but to actually be pregnant, but somehow the women of her tribe couldn't get pregnant.

As the tiny foot pressed against her hand, Taneir lifted it back up and gave it a kiss. "I'd like to try something. Just lie back and relax..." With a bit of effort, the pregnant male managed to sit up in the bed. He straddled over his mate, not touching her until he gently lowered his swollen middle to rest heavily on yours. "The movement has made them more active..." he blushed. "C-can you feel them?" He purred, the vibration going through his belly and against her own.
