~+~Levith Vii Azure~+~

User Image

Levith simply stood their with a smirk on his face as Maarick spoke of how he must first show respect to Blow Boy before he earned it, but he didn't believe in respecting men without names believing them cowards running from something, so he simply began to laugh as Maarick body began to vanish "ah, but what better way to test someone" as he spoke his last words Maarick was gone vanishing leaving nothing but wind behind. With a sigh of relief he looked South to were The Head of the Azure family surly waited for his report on the situation of the Capital which brought no great joy as the death of Clarence wasn't planed, but their were always others who could replace him which never brought an ease to the end result, so laughing slightly he looked up at the sky having realised how much time he spent toying with Blue Boy and Green Boy not ever being told their real names, instead making names for them. So he simply shrugged of everything that has happened thus far in no real rush to return to the family estate within the Capital walls, so as he began to walk towards the gate of the Capital he began to whistle a song, long forgotten.

Selael
The Pyromancer

The Pyromancer nodded at the man who addressed him. "I am Selael Shalehem, Scholar of the history of the illustrious Kingdom of Aden and Pyromancer... I am also a sort of protector of secrets, and that Feather she has procured is one particularly important one..." He cleared his throat and stood straight up, his expression unchanged, clearly meaning business.
"I will make this simple. Return the Feather, and I shall see to it that you are given a full pardon in the Kingdom of Aden. I will say that your theft was an unfortunate result of a set of dire consequences that forced you to steal it, which, as far as I can tell, it is true. The government of Aden will not move against you if you simply cooperate and hand over the feather. From what I can tell..."
He leaned over and stared into Beatrix's eyes. "...You'll need every pardon you can get."

For someone who said he wielded fire, there was something particularly cold about this man... He seemed to conduct things precisely by the book and added no personal sentiments into anything he did. He then held out his hand.
"I'm trusting you will cooperate. You've nothing to lose by doing so, and by refusing... Well, I do not believe you will refuse the local guards and government completely overlooking the fact that you stole a precious artifact."

Maarick listened on, this man obviously did things to the book status. But there was also something about him, something, just couldn't quite put his finger on at the moment. He was also misinformed as well." Listen, we already planned on returning the feather. And even so, it was at first she stole the feather, but the princess let her borrow it for the time being. We were sent to figure out who killed the king. Although Clarence had sought to assassinate the king, his attempt was a cover. But, lord Clarence is dead at this moment anyway. He was a threat that was dealt with." He then took a step back from the door. " We will not give you the feather here, it would be to much of a obvious place. I am going to return it myself to the princess, as it truly belongs to her." He said with calm facial features.

Selael
The Pyromancer

Selael furrowed his brow and examined the situation for a few moments... He seemed to be calculating in his head what the next move should be, which course of action is the most appropriate given the circumstances... The King being killed was indeed dire, and it was something he wished to investigate further. At the same time, that feather made the core of this very Kingdom. It was apparent to anyone that Selael was willing to do absolutely anything to ensure the return of that feather. He seemed relieved, however much that would show on his features, that these people were willing to fully cooperate, though from what anyone could tell, it was more of a relief that he did not have to exert himself. He then began to speak again, with that cold expression and a very official tone of voice, almost military in nature...

"Then allow me to assist you in this endeavor. You have an extra hand in your excursion and I will be able to ensure that the feather is returned to its rightful owners. I trust you will realize that this is... Mutually beneficial." His facial expression still didn't change in the slightest. He was making his stance perfectly clear... It was partially about investigating the matter, sure, but a great deal of it was making sure they didn't simply use the feather for their own personal gain. His frosty stare continued on as he offered his services.

"Do we have an accord?"

Dadrik
The Phantom blaze

Dadrik gave a cocked eyebrow and stared at the man. He was a little bit annoying with the way he acted. "Ok, loose the act. Lighten up a bit. It's a bit irritating. And if your going to be like this the whole time I'd rather not have you around.....such a stick in the mud." He let out quite bluntly, not holding back. Dadrik was not trying to start anything, he just did not like being around someone who did not seem to take chances or have a bit of fun. Although, if he had threatened Beatrix any further then what he did, his words would of been a bit more vicious. As well as his actions.

Maarick
The Emerald Reaper

Maarick snapped his head over to his brother as he spoke, not interrupting him. "You glad you got that out?" He said a bit sarcastically, something he didn't do often. Turning his head back to Selael in the doorway. " But he has a point, Drop it, we have nothing mutually beneficial, you just want to see to it we are good on our word..." He said with a nod then. " But I accept. I can respect that. But, we are going somewhere real soon that no one has seen in a very long time. I'd rather not you come but if you insist.....I must ask you never to speak of it. If you do, You will not like the outcome." He said as he kept his calm look, but seriousness came to it as well. " Do you say that we have an accord now?" He asked.

Selael
The Pyromancer

It seemed it wasn't an act... He really was genuinely someone who took everything this seriously. He didn't even seem slightly phased by Dadrick's insults or the challenges presented to him by Maarick... In fact, they seemed to almost bore him, as if he was waiting for them to come up with something better. He simply adjusted his robe and remarked in response to their jeers at him...

"One who takes his work seriously is one who succeeds in it." He adjusted the chains on his tomes to ensure they didn't slip and were tight enough bound onto his body.
"We have had an accord at the moment you decided to cooperate. However, empty threats will get you nowhere, especially when you're being offered help." He just nonchalantly stared, blinking for the first time in several minutes. You sense no ill intent, nor do you seem to get the impression that he's intimidated at all by what's being told to him. Quite the opposite, it's almost as if he already knew what was going to be so unpleasant that they'd think him too weak to handle it. "A typical sentiment," he thought to himself. "They automatically assume someone who doesn't let his emotions get the better of him has something to hide..."

Maarick was not trying to get a rise out of him with his threat nor was he caring that he wasn't reacting to his words. It was only a warning and that was it. "I do not throw empty threats when i make them. But that was no threat, just a mere warning.." He said simply turning away from him and walking past Beatrix, sitting in the chair by the window.. " Yes that is true though, but those who take they're work to seriously will misinterpret and be blinded from truth's." He told Selael as he looked past Beatrix. "You do everything by the book, and you may make a grave mistake just because you 'follow orders'." he then looked over to Beatrix not waiting for a reaction from him. " As I was saying Beatrix...." He said with a sigh looking her in the eye. " Your soul is connected to the collar as well as your body. If the collar is messed with your soul will be broken. If you mess with the soul the Body will be broken. But if the soul leaves the body on it's own accord, nothing will happen. Although, your soul will still be connected to the collar, it won't to your body. Meaning I could cut the binds without harming your body...but.. in order to do that..." He paused for a moment. " I have to kill you." Maarick let out a bit bluntly, but there was no hiding it. She had to agree not be forced into it.

Beatrix was busy wiping away the rest of her tears. She hated crying like this in front of others but the tears just slipped out. How annoying...she thought as she whipped them away with her gloved hand. Her ears perked up was she listened closely to what Maarick had to say. It takes all three of them? she titled her head to the side. When he first started to she didn't quite understand it. why would it have to take that many? Why is it really so much as a process? What did he mean by keeping by Lilith keeping her body from fading?

Then she heard a clearing of the throat behind her. She turned around to find a serious looking man. She listened to his words as well as Maaricks as they spoke to each other. when the man by the name of Selael spoke to her about the feather she stared at him for a few moments, not sure to what he was talking about. Then it hit her. Her hand instantly fell on the pouch that contained the feather inside. She had forgotten all about that. "oh dear..."she mumbled to herself. That wasn't very good, she still had the feather and now the officials of the kingdom wanted it back. As the man threatened her she let out a low growl and opened her mouth to snap back at the man but again Maarick spoke up once again. Trix crossed her arms and looked away from Selael. She had only just met the man and he irritated the hell out of her.

Her ears twitched and Maarick changed the subject back to her collar. Her gaze fell back on him and she titled her head to the side. At first she didn't understand what he was talking about when he told her he would have to kill her her ears lowered and she understood. Her master was telling her the truth all these years. In order to be free of this collar she would have to be dead first. "Kill?...As in death?" It was a scary thought. She bit her lip and thought it over. "There isn't any other way?" she asked. Trix did trust them but how far did it go? Trix didn't know if she wanted Dadrik in her mind and there was the fear of something going wrong.

Somewhere weakness is our strength,
And I'll die searching for it,
I can't let myself regret, such selfishness,
My pain I know the trouble caused, no matter how long,
I believe that there's hope,

buried beneath it all..

Levith paused for a moment as he stood in front of the study room door in
the Azure Family Estate within the Capital, as he placed his left hand on the door and his right hand gripping his sword he was unsure of who He might of sent for his support, but who ever he had sent mustn't be kept waiting. He tightened the grip on his sword Levith slowly pushed open the door to the study taking a few steps into the room he glanced around seeing that their was no one waiting for him "Dam that...", as he spoke the doors behind him closed shut as he glanced back at the door he froze hearing a old familiar voice come from the shadows "Impatient as always", suddenly he turned looking over into the shadows were he heard the voice, slowly approached a cloaked figure from the shadows into the light. Levith immediately approached the hooded figure stopping a few feet in front of him going to his knees and lowering his head to the ground ""Master" he spoke with calmness and respect to the hooded man, "It been awhile, but unfortunately we must catch up on old times later" as he spoke these final words Levith heard the mans foot steps began to move circling him "Clarence is dead Master", the foot steps did not stop as they continued "We know, though it's a shame he didn't serve his purpose before that time", before what time Levith thought as he looked down at the floor awaiting for the man to speak "and who killed him?", Levith paused unsure how to answer the question but he soon gathered his thoughts and spoke "it was Dadrik, The Phantom Blaze" as these words were spoken the foot steps stopped behind him, "Dadrik, you sure?" his voice spoke calmly with no sign of concern "Yes, and Maarick, The Emerald Reaper is with him...but" pausing for a moment he continued "I'm unsure of the third". Their was a faint pause as the foot steps began to circle him "I see, there is nothing to worry about", the foot steps stopped in front of him but Levith did not raise his head to look "The Head would like you to stay in the Capital and insure that the alliance between the Valdigraph doesn't die with Clarence" a brief pause before Levith spoke the only words he could "Yes Master".

Eveline Valdigraph

That was it...that was all that there was to it. Her father was now dead, leaving her in a new state of fear. What would her brothers do now? Eveline Valdigraph sat on the window seat looking out the widow at the garden. Those who dealt with the death had already came and left with her fathers body. She had never seen anything like it before. The sight had made her rather ill to the point where she had fainted. Tears slipped down her cheeks and fell on to the smooth light weight fabric of her dark dress. "What was I suppose to expect? I knew this was going to happen.." she whispered. She knew what kind of man her father was but that didn't change the fact that she still loved him dearly. He was her father after all and he always treated her kindly.

Eve stood up from her spot and walked out of her room. she could smell the heavy scent of death that still floated in the air. She needed out now. The noblewoman quickly walked down the stairs and out the back doors that lead to the garden. She walked over the fountain and sat down. Her long black hair fell in her face as she casted her gaze to the ground. Her deep blue eyes scanned the ground, looking for anything that would distract her from the darkness enveloping her heart.

She had heard her father talking about the Phantom Blaze once again visiting him. At first she thought he was just loosing it but now after seeing his body she knew that what he was talking about was the truth. It was all real but why would such a being kill her father? The woman shook her head as she recalled the readings in their own library as well as from the schools. The Dav'ion blood line, for many years, it was thought they had disappeared with time. Now that there has been some recent sightings of them it was almost surreal. Monsters...she thought. No not for what they had done but what they are. In the oldest books about the Kingdom that they belonged to it described their race. The idols she once loved to read about when she was a child had quickly turned into something else.

The noble woman let out a soft sigh and looked up the dark sky over head. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the pale light on her light colored skin. It really was a beautiful night but such a tragic one.

Levith was in a poor mood having been the last person he suspected of The Head to send, meaning that he was on a sort chain. Having left the Estate after the visit of the Master to wandering the streets of the Capital to clear his mind, Levith found himself time and time again eventually ending up at the Valdigraph Estate. As he stood at the Gates of the Estate he looked up to were the study room window was; which had been replaced since his last visit, chills ran down his spine of the memory of jumping out that window, he laughed slightly to himself now remembering the other way to opening a portal without needing his adrenaline moving. As he stood there his thoughts were interrupted by a mans voice "hey you!" causing Levith to break his gaze lowering it to two Guards of the Valdigraph who now stood in front of him, with a nod Levith greeted them "Good Evening, nice night isn't it" as he glanced up at the night sky wondering if any of these Guards were at his study when he was here. "Might we ask your business here?" Levith was glad that they did not remember him, but was s little annoyed with their presence until he remembered his task. Returning his full attention to the Guards he gave a slight bow to them "My name is Levith Vii Azure, of The House of Azure" as he stood he kept a clear face wanting to get this over with now "I'm here on behalf of The Head, of The House of Azure" pausing for a moment he glanced over at the Valdigraph Estate "with condolences of the Valdigraph lose". As he turned back to the Guards he gave them another bow "and with your permeation I'd like to speak with a representative of the Valdigraph to speak of the alliance that the Valdigraph and the Azure families made during Clarence rule"

Eveline Valdigraph

Eve heard the sounds of foot steps approaching her. She looked up to find one of the guards of her house walking towards her. She stood up and her eyes met his as he started to speak to her. "My lady, A Lord from the Azure Family wishes to speak with a representative. He is currently at the front gate of the estate. Since neither one of your bothers have arrived I am forced to bother you. I apologize." The guard said with a low bow.

Eveline titled her head to the side and let out a soft sigh. "Alright...Thank you. Bring him to the conference room..I'll speak with him there." she said and walked past him. she walked up a flight of stairs and into the first room to the right. She sat down at the head of the table and waited quietly for the guards to bring him to her. She knew that her father would be frowning at the fact that she was going to handle family business that the males in the family were only allowed to do. She had watched her father handle such matters on several occasion so she was not new to this.

As the Noblewoman left the guard quickly made his way over to Levith. Once in his presence the Guard bowed "My Lord, a representative is inside waiting for you in the conference room. Please follow me and I will show you the way to the room." He said before turning away and started to make his way to the room where Eveline was waiting.
