Max nodded her head, "Righ- Do you hear that? It sounds like music again. I thought you turned it off, or put the record off?" Max said looked back down the hall, and then getting a sudden coldness threw her body.

Rachael shook her head. "No, I'm definetly not imagining it." she said in a voice like a whisper, looking very scared. "I-it's probably just your imagination." Jake said, but he heard it too.

Ace shrugged, "Then I don't know. But I did not do anything." He said and looked around, "Lets find your dog." He said in a more upbeat tone.

"Cat." Rachael corrected him, slowly standing. "Maybe it's just the wind. I don't hear anything." Jake lied, getting a little scared. But he would rather eat spinach then show it, and that was never going to happen.

Rachael stood close to him. "Why'd Jake have to make us live here, of all places?" she whimpered, putting her head on Ace's shoulder. Jake looked in the mirror. "Well, I don't kn-" he stopped dead. He spun around, looking past Max and into the hallway. Then he turned to look back in the mirror, his eyes as wide as dinner-plates.
