Back in the clearing Eona looked at Tskasa and Elva "what now?" she asked as the giant dragon that was her familiar came up beside her.
"Now we find the artifact before our enemies do" He stated as he settled beside her.

Elva nodded. "I agree, but first there someone I want to visit. It won't take long." She flung her pack over her shoulder and, without a glance at the others, walked into the thicker part of the forest.
Movath's fur and feathers briseled. "What are you doing? We must start immediately! Turn around."
Elva went ahead. "Our journey can wait two minutes."

Eona glanced at Tsukasa then back at Elva who was walikng away. She shrugged and follwed.

Elva continued on and in a few minutes they broke though the trees to a large clearing. It was surrounded completely by trees. except for a small path leading away on the opposite side of the clearing. There was an small house to the side but you could hardly call it anymore. It was barely more than rotting frame work.

What Tory had just said to Rosh meant alot to him. A meak smile appeared through his blank sorrowful expression. It had been Years since anyone treated him with genuine kindness. Even his father/master never praised him, for it was to teach him discipline."Thank you. I really appreciate it"

Elva looked at Eona her smile a little sad. My old home. She walked to what had been the back yard. In it were two stone with names on them. "Hello, Mother, Father." she said softly.

Elva gave her a sad smile and suddenly she felt a little uncomfortable. "This is your old home?" she looked around "what happened?" she asked quietly

Elva spoke over her shoulder. "I left it many many years ago. That's why the house is almost gone. My father worked as a soldier for hire, but when I was little he went on a mission and never came back. My mother and I set this," she point to one stone, "as a momument. A few decades later my mother contracted a treminal illness. After her death, I left. But I still come here now and again." she paused. "I was coming here when I ran in to you guys. I usually come through there." She gestered to the path then opened the pouch in here hand.
((Not sure if monument is the right word.... The background I made for this charactar is very complicated. She my first and favorite. FYI lol))

"oh" Eona said this feeling kind of awkward. But she also felt agreat sadness that she did not want to dwell on. "ok i-if you want to talk were here" she said akwardly Eona Looked around found a boulder and sat on it as Hakuu curled his entire body around it and settled his head in her lap. She was very surprised for he had never shown this much affection. she started scartching him around his ears and horn. As he started thrumming in pleasure she felt herself calm down and she looked toward Elva and Tsukasa, waiting for what she knew they needed to tell her, not knowing if they would.

Elva smiled awkwardly. "Thank you, but I've long made my peace with this. I just came for a visit....Seems I've made the feelings around us bad." She laighed nervously." She was abruptly serious. "YOu already know the details of what were supposed to do?"
