Sadhbh laughed. Skor was nothing if not bluntly honest. It was refreshing. "How true. Well would you like to see her now or later? If now you must thank your hostess." She gestured to Addy.

Sadhbh tilted her head in acknowledgement to Addy. "Thankyou." she said and beckoned for Skor to follow. They left the Tree and walked into the night. Sadhbh sang a very short melody and a small very disgruntled looking creature that resembled a kitten appeared. It glowed bluish silver.

"Oh, I'm sorry Calliope. did I wake you?" Sadhbh asked the creature. It gave a pointed snore. "Now's not the time for games, come now we must travel to Psithyrosmos Grove."

The creature then abruptly began to grow until it was large enough to carry both Sadhbh and Skor. Sadhbh climbed up and reached down to help Skor. "By the way the trip may short or long. It depends what mood she's in." She told him gesturing to the cat-like creature.

Calliope flew quickly, she also seemed to be quite fond of Kew. The night sky flew past and quite soon they landed in the grove. Sadhbh dismounted and walked to the entrance. Calliope shrank to her original size and scrambled onto Sadhbh's shoulder, curled up and promptly fell asleep. "Ophelia. I've brought someone you may want to meet." She called a** she walked into the grove.

Something that Sadhbh hadn't mentioned to Skor was that Ophelia had become mute after Skor saved her. She had made a vow that she would not speak until she met the one who sacrificed his life. Sadhbh could hear Ophelia's thoughts, so the muteness hadn't been a real problem. But she still treasured Ophelia and wanted her happiness.

Ophelia walked gracefully into view, her long brown hair cascaded down her shoulder, her eyes were clouded white, due to Sadhbh's gift. She wore a plain white chiffon and carried a knobbly staff. And for the first time in many decades Ophelia spoke. "It is you" Her voice was barely more than a whisper.

It was now Sadhbh's turn to be speechless. All these years and all he said was 'hi'? she thought. Then again she couldn't really expect much more.

Ophelia walked to Skor she placed a hand on his chest. "Thankyou." she murmured. Then she turned and walked away.

Sadhbh had no clue as to what was going on. "What just happened?" Skor hadn't realised that Ophelia had placed a small silver mark where her hand had touched Skor's chest. "And I assumed you were simply visiting Addy's place for Ophelia's sake." She said, remaining confused. Most immortals hated admitting when the were bamboozled. Sadhbh wasn't.

"Alright then." Sadhbh still couldn't get over the casual meeting. She shrugged it off. "So do you want to go back to Addy's or somewhere else?" She queried since she wasn't quite sure what to do next.

Sadhbh bit her lip and debated whether or not to tell him. "Well, you see, when I gift someone I give them the ability to 'mark' people. This mark is quite beneficial to mortals because it allows me to bless them in various ways, since they stand out from ordinary mortals. They become my heroes. But the mark is only to be given after I've been consulted and only to mortals that have given their consent. I have no idea how the mark will react with your demon structure. So you could say it's a little worrying." She told him, she figured if she was going to tell him the truth, she should tell him the whole truth. "I'm truly sorry." She added honestly, she felt quite guilty, she may have been able to stop the mark being placed if she'd realised what was going on.
