Samantha had followed Calder only a bit farther, the boy seemed wraped up in his own mumbled complaints about Nuk being evil, something Sammy would sometimes agree too. However her attention to that would wane as she caught Siddie out the side of her eye. For whatever reason her face seemed, off for a moment, and the smile that came on after didn't quite add up right either. Marching over to the shadow she gave her friend a pat on the shoulder, "Hey you, whats up in the world of my favorite little shadow gal?"

Late to the party (thanks to a kitsune fanfic that ran a little bit long), Thackery bounced in, completely ignoring the beginnings of what seemed to be awkward tension. A quick glance around the room proved that he did know some people here - could be fun!
He went from winner to winner, offering a bubbly "Congratulations!" for their victory. When he made it around to Nuk, he was a little less enthusiastic - not because he was sore over losing, but that speech of his...was finally beginning to sink in, Thackery thought he was -~*AwEsOmE*~-, but he wasn't stupid enough to think he could take Nuk. Not even kind of.

"I think that would be wonderful!" Igneous fairly shivered with excitement. "And thanks for the compliment on the band. If we ever play again I will be sure to let you know."
She scanned the room - was that something pink over there? Was Lizzy here after all? Her friend wore pink and black a lot but surely she would have seen the spider demon come in if she were at the party. How odd!
"I haven't met Kasumi before, which one is she?"

Lucien found himself playing with his goggles when Tahki mentioned them. He nodded to her, he much liked them himself. He wished he had wings that were feathery and fluffy, but he'd have to accept his would always be what they were, made of air. Pondering on the thought, he couldn't help but fidget until he was finally sitting comfortably mid-air at Amrita's height.
He noticed another creature come over, but he found himself wondering just what Obsidian was looking at, but upon not seeing anything, he directed his attention to the new ghoul with the teeth on her stomach. That was a strange trait, much stranger than having backwards feet and reversed hands. He felt like he'd met her before somewhere, the idea of a small ghoul with a grin on her stomach didn't seem like something he'd just... imagine.
"Why is there is a gnawing grin on your stomach?" He asked with a small tilt of his head.

Claire didn't notice the ghoul's hesitation. It was a relief that she knew, Claire was worried that it might be an accident that her hands were on backwards. "OK!" She said pleasantly. She noticed a few people staring at her stomach, and one even asked about it. Claire grinned in delight. "This is my stomach. It doesn't have a name, but it can talk... A bit. I taught it a new word yesterday." At that, her stomach gave a little noise. Claire hit it and said "Don't be shy, stomach!" It swallowed and said "Hello!" in a quiet voice. Claire, still grinning and looking absolutely beside herself in delight, turned back to the boil who asked the question. "I can eat lots of stuff with my stomach, you know. I don't think anyone else in the school has one, not that I know of, anyway." Another creature spoke. This was the one that the backwards-limb girl was clinging to. "Hello..." She tried at a smile, but her face fell a bit when she noticed that they all looked a bit odd. She leaned in a bit, peering up around at their faces. "Are you OK? Did I come here at a bad time?" she took a step backwards and continued to peer wearily at them. "If you want me to go, I can..."

Perhaps the reason why Claire thought they looked a bit odd was because some of the students seemed to be glowing. And pink. Kind of like this: It was too bad only Claire and Obsidian so far could see the reality.

Tilting her head, she muttered to herself "Why are they pink?" She watched them for a while, but they grew no less pink. Claire's stomach growled, apparently they looked like they were made out of jelly... She wouldn't let her stomach eat them just yet.

"Sammy!" Siddie latched onto her friend's arm with some amount of relief. "Do you - " her eyes flicked to the elephant again - "are you having fun?"
Then she heard Claire mutter something about pink, and she looked over in the demon's direction. Did she see it - no, them now, oh dear - too? What was a good way of asking without being weird about it?

Ignoring the group's weird looks, Claire bent down to examine these elephants. Yep, they were pink alright. she was about to poke one when she saw another ghoul looking at her. It wasn't a look like the other creatures were giving her, it was a look of understanding. She stopped in the middle of her elephant-poking and said to the ghoul "Do you see them too?"

The she-wolf grinned. "No prob. And I would love to hear you guys if you play again!" Moving closer to Iggy, she narrowed her eyes and scanned the gathering for the ghoul Kasumi. It had been over by the punch bowl that the she-wolf had first seen her, so perhaps she was still there? Violet eyes sparked with delight when she saw the ghoul still standing around over there.
In her excitement, LW tugged gently at Iggy's arm and pointed. "There. She is the ghoul with long black hair by the punch bowl...oh come on! We can just go over and talk with her." Her tail swished around and faint metallic clinking was heard as the bells clattered against one another. Tugging again, LW stayed close to the wall and lead the former statue towards Kasumi. She hoped her new friend didn't mind going over here.
Once a little closer, LW greeted the ghoul. "Hey! Kasumi. 'Member me?" She smiled. "We just met and you looked alone over here so I thought we'd come keep you company as well." The she-wolf gave the ghost a broad grin, gesturing to Iggy when referring to 'we'.

Kasumi was busy fixing more punch for the students at the gathering when she noticed the red werewolf bring someone else by - someone she'd never met before. The young lady looked to be made of stone, which made Kasumi blink. How odd, but very interesting! The ghost did notice that, for some reason, the werewolf was covered head to toe in eyeballs. Keeping her strange staring to herself (or at least, as under wraps as possible), Kasumi greeted the two students again with a bow. "It's a pleasure to see you again, LW. Who might this be?" she asked, gesturing to the young lady with gray skin. Now they were w motley crew! A ghost, a werewolf and what appeared to be a statue. "Would you like some punch? I just filled up a fresh batch."
She did notice others were acting oddly, but perhaps they didn't see the dancing palm trees in the corners of the room, playing out their rendition of Red Rover from one end to the other. Kasumi sighed. When would this ridiculousness ever cease? Shaking her head, she focused on the eye-covered redhead and the statue.

"I'd like some punch. I've never actually had punch before," Igneous confessed.
This was a night for firsts as Iggy had also not interacted much with the ghostly types. She wasn't sure why the ghost was looking at them so oddly - perhaps it was just something unique to her?

Amrita was definitely focused on the - augh, talking - stomach mouth that was pretty close to her head level. Damn this being small thing! Gray eye wide, she ended up leaning a little more into Tahki, especially once that arm went around her. Tahki was a safe spot and Lucien's head pats made the world better, and between the two of them she was pretty much set.
She managed to pull her gaze from the stomach long enough to look up at Siddie, who was looking pretty nervous. Whoa, someone like her could get nervous! Wow! Before she could ask what was wrong, another Undead girl came marching over, the epitamy of pride; at least that's what it looked like to the small Vetala, who did nothing to hide her stare of admiration.
But, yet again, she was cut off from what she wanted to say by Claire as she leaned in, making the smaller girl cower a little more, gaze off to the side. Which, coincidentally, was where she saw it. Drinks! Maybe, if she was good about it, she could escape the little crowd for a little while - it was overwhelming, but in a strangely good way!
"U-uhm...I'm thirsty." She announced helpfully. "I...I'm going to get something to drink. Does, uhm, anyone want one...?" She asked, looking at the group around her and her friends.

(Failpost ahoy ;;; ) The skinwalker quirked an eyebrow in curiosity as the Siren seemed to lose his nerve mid-conversation, and for the second time that day he wondered if he was really being that scary. He didn't THINK he was being that scary... he wasn't MEANING to be that scary, at least. Still, as Israfel's expression shifted to a rather devious grin, he merely quirked an eyebrow higher, watching as the blue-haired boy glanced between himself and Shehk, his own gold eyes flickering to the perhaps-slightly-embarrassed girl beside him, grinning at the compliment Israfel gave her, although he did give the siren a warning look for the wink. Still, it was gone the moment the Siren's feet left the ground, the skinwalker giving him a bewildered look before tilting his head to listen to the whisper, his confused expression quickly becoming just as devious.
Nuk's smirk grew three sizes at that moment.
It was probably a good thing that Israfel left a moment later, leaving the pair of them alone with Calder (who seemed to be very disgruntled about... well... Nuk in general.) It left the PR member to address the Kelpie, arms folded loosely across his chest.
"Well if you're so romantic, why don't you teach me how it's done?" he replied, a challenge definitely in his voice, "You get what you want -- me being more 'romantic.' Shehk gets what she wants -- me being more romantic. And I get what I want -- Shehk to kiss me more."
It seemed he had forgotten Shehk was standing right there. Or maybe he hadn't at all. It was hard to tell. Still, he seemed to have regained his good mood again, evident as he offered Thackary a (perhaps slightly rough) clap on the back and a 'no hard feelings, his gaze flicking to the small group before he looked out at the rest of the party, which, it seemed, had just started to heat up.
"You know what? I think it's time for a game."
Going to stand by the punch table, the skinwalker dragged a chair out from where the gnomes had left one, the legs scraping along the floor obnoxiously as he slid it where people would be able to see him, getting up onto it and raising his fingers to his mouth.
The whistle that pierced the air was nothing short of obnoxious."Alright, you guys want silver pumpkin seeds? Grab a cup of punch, this one's gonna be fun."Of COURSE he didn't know the punch was spiked. Definitely not. He was on the Council now, he couldn't do bad things like that. Clearly. Still, that didn't stop his expression from looking just a little too... devilish.
"The rules go something like this. Each of you roll two six-sided dice. Add up the numbers you get, and take that many shots of punch. Person who takes the most shots wins a silver pumpkin seed. Sound good?"Quote: wahmbulance exclaim DRINKING GAME! exclaim wahmbulance
Just as explained, your character rolls two, six-sided dice, and then you rp them taking that many shots! A shot is basically just a large swallow, not the whole glass, so unless you want your character to be confused (which is totally acceptable and would be hilarious!) you don't have to have your character drink an obscene amount! Winner is the person who rolls the highest combination of numbers <3
This game will be open for 24 hours! Your response post doesn't need to be too long, so don't worry if you just roll (I ttly understand <3)
Score
Vaith - 6 Claire - 6 LW - 4 Kasumi - 2 Lucien - 9 Igneous - 8 Junko - 3 Israfel - 7 Riley - 3 Thackery - 2 Calder - 7 Shehk - 6 Amrita - 6

By the drinks table was a newcomer who hadn't quite garnered any attention, fortunately for him. Unfortunately, luck was going to be running out soon for the quiet reaper who sat by the refreshments, taking several sips as he scanned the room. One thing could be said. This school was certainly.. interesting. Vaith was only recently enrolled and a party had been going on.. There was more to lose to skip the party than to go. Probably.
He needed a drink. Punch was never a bad thing. (Whatever this party had would probably work. As long as it isn't blood.)
He tipped the glass down his throat, his adam's apple bobbing up and down as the liquid went down his throat. A watchful eye kept out, almost expecting someone to slap him and cause him to burst out coughing. It wouldn't be the first time it happened.
