Mai was always the type to roll with the punches, and she took the new development in without batting an eyelash. With a nod to her bandmates, the ghost tossed the dice into the air and swung her guitar at it. Her face remained mostly impassive, only the burning glow from eyes marking any intensity of emotional.
The dice flew straight up, making a high pitched whine as it soared. When it finally returned to the stage, it bounced several times over her head before finally coming to rest on a number. Mai glanced at it, then back to Noxious.
"My guess is that my roll is Higher than yours," she said simply.

Well, that had been a fun interlude. However, it seemed that the JERKHEAD had something he was 'plotting' more-or-less. Hnngh.

What sort of stupid task was this? She was bruised, probably bleeding, and Nevena was downright furious. If they messed this up, they'd get eliminated in one shot? Just like that? Unfair! Unfair!

Dice rolling? DICE ROLLING! NO MORE HITTING AND BASHY BASH PAIN! G could have wept with relief, but instead only clapped his big hands together before he picked up the dice and enthusiastically tossed it. Unfortunately, it smacked right against a girl with pink-snakey-hair's head, and she made a scary noise at him.
G tried not to wilt.
Peering at the dice for a long moment, the beast twitched his tail thoughtfully, then announced happily, "G thinks G's roll is higher!" He had to be right, for Gargantuan Metal's sake!
Of course, there was another long pause after that, and the monster was mentally attempting to calculate numbers... "...Er... lower, G is lower. G can count!"

This wasn't exactly the epic conclusion Adelle had expected, taking a die in her hand and pursing her lips at its cool exterior. The interruption was unwelcome, but the gall of this guy encouraged her to teach him a lesson, even if her fists were to remain uninvolved. Her sisters had both guessed lower with near-middle numbers. Maybe if she got a really high roll, she could feel safe in her decision. Or a low one, but something about aiming for the smaller side of the spectrum didn't sit well with the Lady Gorgon drummer.
With a flick of her wrist, she watched the multi-faceted thing roll awkwardly around on the ground, split surface flashing obsidian before coming to a halt. Silently cursing her luck, she crossed her arms over her chest, staring the inanimate item down like it had betrayed her. Middling friggin' roll, what a surprise. Chewing on her lip, Adelle finally decided that it wasn't worth endless deliberating. "My roll is higher than yours."

Emily Device of the Serial Molesters: bearer of perpetually low rolls unless Mr. Monty's life is riding on it.
The witch scratched her head for a moment and then paused. Carefully removing half a broken drumstick from her hair, she proceeded to thoughtfully tap her chin with it. "Hmmmmmm."
"I think it's ummmm...." She paused again, then crossed her arms and huffed a bit. Was she humming? Yes. Yes she was.
"Wait no....." Emily stared up at the ceiling and spun around a bit. "Ummmmmmm....ahhhh....ah!"
Clenching her eyes shut, she twirled in the Trickster's direction and announced confidently, "It's lo-no-hi-wait-yes-hi-no-lo-cough-um-maybe-oh-jack-I'm-not-sure-so-it-must-be-l-h-h-h-hi-IT'S LOWER! I'M KINDA SURE MY ROLL IS LOWER THAN YOURS MAYBE?!"

Siddie caught the die tossed to her and blinked at it for a few moments, nonplussed. Their fate rested on luck, after all that effort? ... well, what the hell. "Betting on higher," she said, and threw the die.

Sin of the Howling Harlots was practically positive that unless fate completely spit in her eye that her roll was gonna be lower then nox's. Nox was sure to roll way higher then her, especially with that measly number, now all she could do was uneasily wait.
