Lily had a huge smile on her face as she moved through the crowd, wondering where Azzo had gotten of to. She really did wish to talk to him and was feeling a bit bad about being distracting.
Lily grinned making her way over to where the food had been with question of school, puppets and hypnotism running about in her head. Oh it was going to be such fun to catch up and oh how much fun she would have dancing.
Even more so it seemed she had lost her sister for the time being, though she had her bets that her sister was simply being asked to dance repeatedly over and over again.
Lily looked around for a moment before she spotted Azzo and gave a wave before heading toward the boy. She really wondered how he had been.

"You have a plus one?" Elegancia continued to sip on her drink (then subsequently pucker her lips), while she slowly rocked to the music. Although it may not have been Gloria's forte, Elegancia loved even the cheesiest of beats. Hell, she'd probably do a waltz to Barney's clean-up time song. "I'm surprised, to be honest. Not even I have a plus one." As the words left her mouth, Elegancia quickly turned her head in the direction opposite of Gloria. Why had she just said that? How embarrassing!
The brunette chugged the last bit of her punch down and then held her forehead. Elegancia truly felt the music pumping through her veins at this point. "So, are you above dancing to this kind of music? You'll never find a new plus one if you think so." She ran her hands through her glossy hair, gyrating her hips all the while. "I can't guarantee that you will, though. What with that man body. Pardon my frankness, but I think I'll find someone before you do." Elegancia grinned, then continued, "want to make a contest out of this?"

Kat stood nervously outside the doors of the Destiny City ball. She’d never ever in her life attended so much as a school dance, let alone an extravagant ball. And to top it off, she didn’t really know anyone. She took in a deep breath, ran her hands down her dress to flatten it out, pulled her mask down over her eyes, and made her way in. She sorted of shuffled her way in, more than anything- she was wearing ridiculously high heels and she didn’t have the slightest clue how to walk in them. She knew she should’ve ignored the sales lady and bought the flats instead. She wobbled ever so slightly as she stood in line waiting to get in. When it was finally her turn, they quickly checked her purse and she was free to go on ahead. She pushed the doors open in front of her and took a few shakey steps inside. Her mouth instantly dropped open as she took in the sight in front of her. Elegant ball gowns, people dancing, that huge, delicious looking cake... She shook her head quickly, as if to snap herself out of her daze and wandered (slowly and oh-so cautiously) towards a wall lined with chairs. She plopped down onto a chair and sat awkwardly and awfully unlady-like.

Azzo's eyes had been wondering around. He was trying to be nonchalant about watching for Melody while seeking out other people he knew. At first he gazed over Lily, pausing his eyes wondered back.
He smiled softly and gave a small wave back. He sighed, at least it was someone to talk to maybe. He debated on if he should walk over and meet her like halfway or let her come to him. He actually hadn't moved from the last time she'd seen him.

One senshi in hiding, apparently, would spot two cats. And when he did, his eyes went wide. Oh, god almighty.
The little cream-colored ball was unfamiliar to him, but the manx wasn't. Next he knew, he was grinning. After that, came the giggles, which he had to stifle with his free hand.
Oh god, Bell was gonna think he was crazy.
Still, it was hilarious to look at them - and, in a way it was nice to see ********* again. The cat had been nice to him, and she had saved his life, even though he had been certain that it was a figment of his imagination.
Xavier slid off to stand again, turning to face her and look up at the sky, leaning back against the railing. "You can even see the stars tonight..." His plate, with it's large serving of cake, was lifted and pushed along the nearest branch of the tree the cats were climbing. It wasn't hard to think of what could have brought ********* here, if her reaction to nuggets had been a sign of how much she liked people-food. "It's so pretty..."
Push, push push. Toward two little furballs. The paper plate remained balanced, and at last he had it pushed as far as he could take it. The rest was up to the two guardian cats.

Xavier's spontaneous bout of stifled giggles made Bell blink in curious, wide-eyed, confusion. She started to question, but then he got up and mentioned the stars. Bell chuckled a little and looked up, while moving to stand herself. Bell, meanwhile, was oblivious to the two guardian cats. She wouldn't have recognized either of them, having only met Astrea, er, Luna? Whoever she was. "Hm - yeah. Perfect weather, clear night, wonderful company. It's lovely~"

Lily was grinning as she approached Azzo, wasting no more time and allowing no more distractions. When she reached him she smiled brightly. "You costume is very nice Azzo. It has been to long since I have seen you. I hope life has been treating you well. Oh you must tell me everything."
Lily stood beside him looking out at the dancing couples on the floor and enjoying the company of another friend. Tonight seemed to be turning out just great and she hoped her parents would loosen up because she would hate to have had so much fun with her friends only to go back to her personal prison.
Lily sighed lightly trying to not to think about it, it was truly depressing. Turning she smiled at Azzo once more.

He couldn't stop giggling like a dumbass. He just couldn't help himself. At all. His due paid to the guardian cat and her friend, he stepped back toward Bell.
"Well." He held out his hand for her to take. "We could... try to dance ? You'll have to show me how, though."
His cake had mysteriously vanished.

Bell took his hand happily, none the wiser to the disappearance of the cake. "Certainly! And that's not a problem!' She said happily. There were two ways she could go about this - teach him ala Rinoa-Squall (which she didn't know the game of course, it was a fair enough comparison) or she could lead, which was like-wise not a problem. In the end, they'd find themselves on the dance floor jut beyond the balcony door, and Bell would chance her teaching skills.

It was very difficult for Mr. Stark to not make any outward reaction at Audrey's approach of them -- and so, it ended up that he did, just a light twitch of the eye. The general look of disdain and boredom never left; one could imagine that he felt stifled and bored at a party that had no bar in sight. Damn majority of patrons being underage.
"I think you'd know who's ditching who," he cooly replied with a raise of the eyebrow, "considering you wake up every day and crawl out of one."

Whichever method Bell would settle on, Xavier would do his best to follow, not step on her feet, and overall not look pathetic.
Hopefully, it wouldn't be too much to ask.
((Okay, again, Yuna can puppet Xavier a little bit if she wishes. It is bedtimes for Zeroes.))

Squall-Azzo lofted his brow as Lilly spoke. He sighed, it had been a long time, however, most of that time was spent sleeping in coma. He shook his head looking unamused at the actual lack of interesting things having happened to him.
His eyes were watching the crowd moving, "There's not much to tell really." He said shifting his gaze over to her, he sighed, perhaps the most interesting thing was there was probably Melody helping him pick a costume, and she was suppose to be Rina. He sighed softly before smiling. "What about you?" He asked playing with the fur on his collar. It was impossible not to fiddle with.
He watched her sigh. He shook his head thinking. "Mm, While I'm waiting for someone would you like a dance?" He gave a soft smile.

********* took the rear, but only because she was being somewhat protective of her current companion. Derpraline was claiming to be a good climber, but just in case she was exaggerating a bit, ********* would be under her to maybe be a momentary cushion. As her own claws dug into the tree bark, she nodded her head to the kitten.
"Yes, yes child... it is big... but we must be quiet so we can get the cake. It is good to be quiet right now." The Persian kitten could be rather trying at times, but the manx had the patience of a saint at times. She did have to deal with Ellie on a frequent basis. There was a faint crinkling of old bark as they made their ways up the tree. Eventually, they were at the branches, which meant a slightly more level place to set their paws.
It was about then that her velvety nose began to twitch. There was a rather delicious scent lingering in the air. Pale green eyes blinked before glancing down to the balcony. There was an Xavier and a girl, but at the moment, those weren't really important at the moment.
There was cake!
"Child, hush, hush. There is cake over there, but we need to be quiet."
Warily, the feline edged away from the base of the tree along her branch pathway. When she felt it was safe enough, she hopped off of the branch, landing upon her four paws upon the balcony.

Traditionally, Halloween was the night when the devils came out to play and prey upon the Earth. Or so it was painted down through the centuries by a Church dying for acceptance and the spread of its Gospel to the pagan world. Whatever your current belief, it was generally thought that the veil between our world and the spirit world was thinned, mischief was acceptable, and you never did know what was going to happen when the clock struck midnight. There were more than a few Cinderellas at the ball, but one in particular was feeling especially lively that night. Her costume wasn’t particularly elaborate, she hadn’t had the sort of money or ingenuity that Elegancia D’Strella or Audrey Collins might have had. No, this girl was more the Serenade Soriano type of princess elegant, a plain black mask over her features, and around her neck hung a bright crystal in a color that reminded everyone keenly of blood. When her mask was pushed up to partake in the cake that even now Derpraline and ********* were valiantly attempting to avail themselves of, it revealed that this was the kid who’d popped out of nowhere and snatched the grand prize from the center of the corn maze on Friday night! It was that very prize that was hanging around her neck now, all but glowing from the inside in the low lights of the ballroom. Dianna Brightley was fairly new to the city, a sophomore at the local Meadowview High. She was also an absolute comic buff, and when seeing the pair dressed up so very much like Tony Stark and his assistant, she just had to go over and compliment them! Alas, it was not a fortuitous choice. As soon as she got near the red-haired young woman dressed up like Pepper Potts, everything went absolutely wrong. At first, it looked like just a trick of the light -- but one second later and the room shook with a great pulse of power... and at its epicenter, the scarlet gem on her breastbone began to flash and glow like it was containing a miniature supernova. Was it reacting to the girl she had just walked up to? Or had it simply been the clock chiming midnight? Cinderella was bathed in the red light as sparking bolts of energy danced over her skin and somewhat cheap dress, causing her to scream in pain. If that were not enough, the spectacle was enough to summon two more figures, both equally supernatural in appearance. The attention of every awakened and pure senshi in the room suddenly turned to another of the ballroom’s many Cinderellas: this one silver-haired and possessing of an enlightened and regal air, oddly familiar. Those who had been paying attention at Astraea’s meetings might have recognized her as spitting image for the Moon Princess herself... except she looked far too old to be a princess. There was no mistaking who the Negaverse officers and senshi saw, however. Beryl in all her glory was beautiful and terrifying. Both visages, one as serene as the other was livid, were oddly larger-than-life, and faded into complete transparency before their skirts could brush the ground: neither of the women were there physically, but the presence was still plenty significant. Voices rang out in heads, orders in a voice either gentle and caring or demanding and cruel. “The crystal... you must get the Crystal!”A pointed glare from Queen Beryl managed to pierce the eyes of every cloaked Negaverser in the room, silently letting them know that failure would not be tolerated. The Moon Queen, however, looked only to her senshi with a reassuring smile full of confidence and faith in them. After all, there was nothing that goodness could not conquer! For a moment, each of her hands rested on the head of Serenade and her young friend Coralie, before both images faded into nothingness, and youma began to swarm the ballroom. .:GETTING THAT CRYSTAL:. Pandemonium has broken out in the ballroom, and every powered individual present has been tasked with getting the crystal the girl was wearing around her neck. Civilians are fleeing left and right, it’s probably best if you ditch whatever date you have and find a quiet place to phase or transform! It seems that the activation of the Crystal has driven the youma more than a little berserk -- they’re attacking anyone and anything that gets in their way, senshi and Negaverse alike! The girl lies prone in the center of the dance floor - the center of commotion. Every individual will be able to roll a 100-sided dice once as they try to get to the crystal. You can fight with other senshi, or the present youma, which are only as strong as a lieutenant or a senshi. But if you want a shot at pleasing your respective queens, you'd best roll soon! Civilans are welcome to try and play the hero and save either the girl, or a powered individual they recognize. It's probably a foolish endeavor, but since when are heroes smart? If you haven’t posted in the ball yet, you are still free to enter until this is over -- just hope your character is ready to spring straight into action! You can keep RPing even after you’ve rolled, just don’t cheat and roll more than once for your character per round! A GM post from the mule will denote the next round. Please remember, however, that all battle rules are still in effect here. You cannot godmode a character without the owner’s permission, and cannot seriously harm or maim them by these rules as well. Any questions, please ask in the QnA or one of the RP staff personally!

There was no disobeying that order, no time to question it or even care. He must obey, he must...failure would not be tolerated and he must at all costs ensure that he WAS tolerated. He scrambled for it, no time to question the chain of events or how many other people were about to try for that said same bright stone, just go...
