Maybe Gabrial worked for the company that used to sell drugs and such. But more than drugs, the company is responsible for an array of experiments involving chemicals and mutations. It would certainly explain Shiva's character Ithellis, and also give Cedric that quality of agelessness that I wanted him to have. In this way, Cedric could be, in the current story (that we would be drawing), working for the company in the hopes of receving a cure for his mutation (which is immortality). In the past story (the one we wouldn't be drawing, but that happened and may be flash-backed to), Gabrial could have been a materials gatherer or the "failed experiment" control... whatever makes him go to different places as is written in HIS description. I think he would still be a regular untampered human, though. And then eventually, he just quits and runs away from it, taking care of Abby, who has powers that neither (or maybe just Gabrial doesn't) knows about. Cedric keeps an eye over him, befriending Abby in the process (but are they really friends is the question). And, in the meanwhile, Zauberei's character could be one of the main bosses for the big organization. The drugs she sells, too, are not just addictive forms of the drugs so common in today's IRL society, but also cause mutations. The organization's way of "spreading the love"? Who knows why they'd be so carelessly public about it though? I mean, that's a lot of risk. Maybe some "religious" mumbo-jumbo about the end of the world and change can be thrown in, too.

AND MORE! Shiva's character, Andrae, could be one of the people that Zauberei's new character (the boss lady) sells drugs to. But Andrae is studying Ithellis at the same time that she's studying the drugs. She might be one of those "leading characters" that helps move the plot forward with drastic changes and realizations (like you see in books, if you're a more critical reader). You know, the type that infiltrates buildings, gets caught, and then makes everyone chase after, leaving half the main characters dead in her wake. biggrin I'm not saying we should kill off the characters. I'm giving an example. That sort of character. I'm praying that you understand what I'm typing right now, oh reader. u__u

BUT YEAH MM OKAY. That's my connect-a-character thing for now. INPUT. IS. ALWAYS. WELCOME.

Furthermore, not everyone is required to make a character. And if you do make a character, they don't need a full-blown personality. There can't be twenty-something main characters. This is a story. And the characters that have been submitted so far CAN be rejected. It's up to us.

Also, smaller characters can be added as the story moves along. Heck, a huge PLOT CHUNK can be added while we're drawing! Remember, we're just getting ideas right now. A foothold. So we can at the very least start. Continuing after the start will be very, very easy.

ok, something I'm a bit of a stickler for, OLD PEOPLE. ninja ;; many online comics / comics in general lack older characters (and NO I do NOT mean 35 years old, I mean like 60-70+) I dunno, variety seems to just make stories a bit more believable to me. and they don't have to have a major part, but I personally would like to see some older characters involved. (but that's just me. ^^; )

Aw, those pics are so cute, drawer! X3 heart And good thinking with the older people! Maybe the main boss could be an older man. Plus, Gabrial is older than the typical manga hero, as well. Well, hmm. They'll be thrown in, I'm sure. After all, who knows how far all these experiments go back...?

Yes. I'd like comments on my plot-tying-together-of-ish, please, rather than just a recognition of it being there.

A good way to start the story might be helpful, too. I suggest... some sort of big event. Or rather, the aftermath of a big event. Heck, it could start out as a mini-flashback! I'M envisioning Gabrial as the main character, so I figure it'd start with a part of his past. Please, though, please, give me feedback on plot.

Well, the genetic scientific experiments could have given a select few the ability to tap into the higher plains of the brain and are now able to use things like telekinesis or even chi. It depends on where the artist wants to go with it. Personally I would go in that direction. [hence why i suggested it]

What if the company that gabrial worked for {{still assuming gabrial is the main character}} actually had to do with Ithellis's "past" as in, had to do with the lab that blew up / his ... conceivance? bornness..? cant think of the word.
Any who. going with the idea I was saying before, What if his compny was really powerful (aka mafia-powerful) and had disapproved of the semi-"corrupted science" that this lab on an uncharted island was doing, so sent people... or technology powered by some other kind of science, to destroy the lab/island, but half- failed and ended up only destroying the lab?
And then Gabrial starts finding these things out, and goes on promotions and stuffs and has to get "involved" though he might not want to {and so he quits}?
And, Ithellis is starting to find out about the company behind this and targets Gabrial?
maybe as a hook-kinda-thing, it could have to do with a quicky Gabrial flashback / how maybe he heard the destruction of the lab nearby and always wondered about it, so that we also know ithellises origin.

of course, its just an idea to get the plot moving/starting..

No. In my idea,
The drug company isnt against drugs- its just against what the lab is reasearching. Which of course, doesnt have to be neccesarily drugs. It could be a type of science. Or maybe something to do with drugs, or, if a drug, a drug that can heal everything else known so far?

When I mentioned "like the mafia" I really meant it as in, they're into drugs and just about everything else.
So the lab could be researching anything... and that cause causeses the organization/company to go against the lab.

Ooh, I like. And Catherine and Ethan could be like little 'Hermes' type people, they just show up with random bits and pieces of info, and they kinda speak in riddles? Like, they would be the sort of characters you compare to imps? Would that work somehow?
