Just checking, since it's kind of a silly question, but yeah! If we do a solo between two of our characters, who does it count for? Like... does it count for both if it's over 900 words and they're both in it equally? Or do we list it for just the one we want to use it more? Thanks! ^^

Mouse: This is difficult to quantify, so I'd like some backup on this, but I believe if both make an equal contribution to the story this is okay. But if you wrote a long solo for Tony, lets say, and he waved awkwardly to Nate at some point in it... that solo would not count for Nate.

Edit: A related question, though not as relevant, what if I were to use two powered up characters of mine in a RP with someone elses' powered up (like my senshi and nega with someone elses nega... etc)? Is that a battle for just one of them, or a Reg RP or...? Like should I pick which one I want it to count for, or is there a way to decide? Sorry for the weird questions. XD I know they've probably been answered before, but I am lame and can't find them. =[

For solos, do "prequels" count towards growth ~ or only if they take place after they became senshi?

Mouse: Okay, so the others can back me up on whether I'm right on this stuff, I'ma use this question to try and generally explain what RPs you can count and which you can't towards growth.

If you're POWERED FROM THE START (e.g. you had your powered art the moment you got the character), any RP you have under your belt can count towards growth, even if it takes a bit for them to power up IC.

If you're a CIV WHO GOT AN UPGRADE, you cannot count the RPs you did before you got powered up. So, count from your recruitment / awakening RP onward.

If you are WAITING ON GROWTH ART, you cannot count the RPs you do before you get said art and grow IC -- so, if you were a Lieutenant, count from your promotion / first RP as Captain onward.

If your "prequels" follow the above, they should count.

Natsube: Backing Mouse up here!

On this topic - for those of us who won characters in the Harvest Moon event, which of these option do we count as ? Do we count as as powered up from the start, since we technically won our characters that way, or do we count as civs who got an upgrade ?

Mouse: In all cases above, it all boils down to your RP counting towards growth requirements as soon as you have the powered art. So, you'd count as an upgraded civ!

I cant remember if this was posted but what are the differences between generals and general kings (besides a power/hierarchical difference)?

Can generals corrupt starseeds to recruit new members into the negaverse or is this a GK/GQ ability only? (I've seen they can further corrupt to provide promotions but I dont know if they can recruit others?)

Nessy: Very rarely. Even more so now that we have characters in those top ranks that could do that for you. You can bring the person TO said GK/Q and it can count as 'you' corrupting them because the GK/Q will help you. Alone it is exhausting because you are just not as in tune with the corruption as higher ups. Think of Tanzanite corrupting Vivianite, and how she had to have Charonite there and helping. It's easier as a general and can be done alone, but it's not easy.

Mouse: In terms of Negaverse-exclusive powers: Generals more or less have all of them, but it's General-Kings that can apply them to their full potential.

- Generals can recruit, but as Nessu said it takes an incredible expense of energy, and more time and concentration than it does a GK or Beryl. You have to be a General-King (or Beryl) in order to promote. Corrupting a senshi is probably around twice as hard as recruiting a non-senshi.

- A General can teleport more often than a Captain, but it probably still takes the wind out of you to do it, and it's still not practical to use in battle unless it's out of desperation / your only option. It just tires you out too much for combat situations. However, a GK can probably employ one teleport in a fight without too much energy cost.

- Generals can enchant items to use for collecting energy, though this is limited to a ~20 foot radius. A GK's range is wide enough to cover most, if not all of Destiny City.

We know if Senshi are corrupted over to the Negaverse, they lose the memories of other Senshi identities (among other things), and I -think- if a Negaverser was somehow purified it would hold true.

Does this also hold true for other characters? If a civilian somehow knew the identities of Senshi or Negaversers would they forget if they were powered up? Or other types of powered characters, if they were somehow corrupted?

Nessy: Just making sure I understand the question: If you tell a random civilian that you're Sailor Hotstuff, and then they later become Sailor Pancake, will they remember you're Sailor Hotstuff?

Yes. Corrupt senshi only forget their lives if they were previously awakened as senshi before going to the Dark Side, as it were. Vivianite retained all of her memories, because she was awakened as a corrupt senshi and had nothing to forget. It's a failsafe entirely for metagaming, game-breaking reasons.

Civilians should not know the civilian identities of Negaverse agents without GM approval.

a question about powers!

would a senshi/lt have the strength to crush a full, unopened can of soup?

Nessy: I would think so! After all, they have the strength to jump two stories with minimal effort.

Mouse: A typical Lieutenant would have a bit of an easier time with this than a typical senshi would though, I believe.

Hey! I think this got answered once before but -
Can Corrupted Senshi teleport? And if so How often?

Natsube: They sure can! At least, Nova did. It's not part of their regular repetoire, so they do it less than their powered counterparts in the Negaverse-- I think I only had Nova do it one time in a fight, and in the fight with Kunzite she was too off kilter to think to teleport. Again, not part of their natural abilities, so they usually don't think of doing it right off the bat. I could be right off my rocker on this point, I just know that they CAN. What say you, others?

Mouse: Yeah, they can, just not very often because it's incredibly energy-draining. Vivianite has used it as a last-resort survival strategy before, and also chaperoned Uranophane to the Negaverse a couple of times before she became Captain and could teleport by herself. You can probably assume about a once-per-day limit at the starter level, Supers around twice, Eternals 3~5 if they really dig into their reserves? Like with Negaverse officers, it takes up way too much energy to be viable as a combat strategy.

Okay Kitty question time.

Part 1 - Do markings have to be 'natural' or can they be like Anhk.

Part 2 - Do Cat colors have to be natural? Obviously no full body eye-rape color, but like say you wanted a black cat with funky marking colors. Is that a do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars type deal or is it a good to go thing?

I remember this being in the old QnA but don't see it here, if it's been asked forgive me ;_; <3

In Destiny City, what's the legal age for:
Drinking?
Smoking?
Driving?

Thanks!

Mouse: I believe it would be 16 to drive, 18 to smoke and 21 to drink like it is in most parts of the US.

I'm 99% sure I know the answer to this question, but I'd like to ask and make sure.
There is already a nega with dice as a staring weapon, and to make one with a 20-sided die with a starting weapon would be too close, right?

Mouse: Nope. That would be like saying that because Janice started with a pen, someone else couldn't start with a pencil!

Do the senshi who were at the halloween party and saw Serenity's apparition recognize the figure in the snowglobes as resembling Serenity?

Mouse: Yes, they sure can!

How big are the snowdancers? Life-sized or varied?

Nessy: They do vary! Usually a Snow Dancer does her best work at full human size, but they can make themselves smaller to travel faster and dance lighter!

Is it alright that a student who goes to the seminary could go home on weekends/during down time, ect if her home was close enough to the school? Like sleeping at the school but visiting her mother.

Mouse: Hillworth students can leave campus on weekends / when classes aren't in session if they have a good behavior record -- I'd imagine St. Magdalena's has a similar system in place!

1. Just out of curiosity-- are civillian/concept contests going to run on a schedule of some sort (monthly, or bi-monthly or whatever), or will they be more random than that?

2. Senshi cellphones! I remember once upon a time everybody got Ione Cly, along with the art of said cellphone. I was just wondering if, like the henshin pens, it's still just assumed that senshi get cellphones?

3. Is it possible to get a coloured copy of a cellphone for Vulcan? It's totally cool if they've been taken out of play or whatever, but I just think they're awesome and would like one to stick in her journal. I'd also be willing to colour it myself, if time is at all an obstacle for you guys. I imagine they're hardly your first priority. XD

look, another question.

4. When a Nega goes Captain-- they get their own personal youma, yes? Is there any guidelines as to what these youma can be? Also, when a Captain upgrades to General, does their youma upgrade too?

Mouse: A Negaverse Captain's personal youma can be thought of as a cut above normal ones -- they're usually a bit more intelligent or can take more hits. They can serve as a summons for when your Negaverser is caught in a bit of a bind and needs a bit of extra firepower; they're also handy for distracting any senshi that might be around when you're out stealing energy.

A personal youma is usually going to be a lot more humanoid in appearance than their more monsterlike counterparts. And, yes, when you level up, so do they!
