++++++++[Training Post: Kirigakure Style Taijutsu | Joudan Bakushou | Continued from the Bamboo Forest - Training Area]

Pursuing the training, he continued until he found the falls. It was somehow a long run, but it would be worth it, as he lost nothing, and gained but a bit more stamina, and leg strength for his own. Now, finally finding a body of water, Kami placed himself under the falls, and there, he began to meditate. Collecting his Chakra, he began to draw it towards his right hand once more. This time, with much difficulty, as the impact of the falling currents, and the spray that it produced upon impact, made it harder for him to focus. It took a while before he actually managed to get the feel of it. And when he did, he turned around, and with one strike, released his Chakra in perfect timing, causing for the water to follow his arm, and strike the rocky wall in front of him - causing it to crack for a small bit.... [2/2]

Finally learning the Jutsu, and, succeeding in practicing the first stage of the Mist's basic Taijutsu styles, he sat down under the falls, and began to meditate. It was the perfect place, in his opinion, to start learning how to control his Chakra more efficiently, as it would be somehow difficult, given the condition of heavy water falling over his head and shoulders. For a while, he decided to stay here, and improve his Chakra Control. But soon, moved on towards the Academy to develop other forms of Jutsu.

Getting back from the office, Mi knew it was time to train. Already two of her team mates were one step ahead of her, which disgruntled her more than she would like to admit. Time to train, to get stronger, to keep up with her peers. Such was the competitive world of shinobi. Removing her cloak, she picked her way over towards the waters edge, leaning over to look at her reflection. Immediately Mi noticed the changes. Her face had lost that baby roundness it had once held and was more feminine. Her skin was porciline and her red eyes stood out against the odd coloration. It was uncomfortable to know she could change so much from so short a time period of being gone from the village. Even her hair had grown, she noted, picking up a lock that fell over her shoulder. "No time for a hair cut. "She muttered to herself, wadding into the water and sending ripples out that disturbed the peace of the still plane water. The falls was not that far from where she was, the current getting stronger as she waded out further. The chill of the water no longer sent shivers down her spine, her body used to the sting. There had been something she had not finished learning at the Chuunin exams and today she would finish it.

[3/4] { continued from chuunin exams }
Letting out a deep breath, she quickly went through the hand signs, activating the need chakra amounts. The water in eight different points around her began to churn, small streams snaking out from the liquid. They began to get thicker and thicker until they resembled the tentacles of an octopus, minus the stickers. They lashed out at the air before them, slowly gaining their momentum and animation. Mi watched them, carefully noting how she really had no control over them once she had created them. Sure she could direct them and tell them where to go but chances were they would attack even if she didn't want them to anymore. She had them square off against each other.

[4/4]
Mi watched, as the tentacles lashed out at one another, entangling themselves as if they were more solid than liquid. The girl stood back a little and watched, studying the jutsu she had created. Clenching her fist, one of the tentacles tightened and destroyed it's opponent. Mi ceased the jutsu, already satisfied with the results.

Standing straight once more, Mi went through another series of hand signals, preferring to move straight into the next jutsu. This was something she needed during the exams but had found that it was close to impossible to get.
"Suiun Suishi no Jutsu."As she applied her chakra, the water before her began to churn once more, disturbed yet again by the Suiton user. It rose, steadily, the column snaking upwards towards the sky.

[2/4]
Letting her concentration slip, the water plopped back into the main water feed. Mi huffed a little and tried once more, her speed with hand signals was incredible. Nothing was really phasing her now, which should have been the way things needed to go during the exams.
"Suiun Suishi no Jutsu."
She repeated, her voice barely over a whisper. Again the water bubble from where she focused her energies, a stronger column coming up form the main source.

[3/4]
Mi guided the water without pointing or gesturing in which way it was to travel. She willed it over towards and over the bank of land behind her. The column continued to travel, Mi testing out the distance it could go from the origin of summoning. It continued on, down the way she had come, moving slowly as she kept her focus. Reaching a good distance away it suddenly dropped to the ground, Mi almost yelling aloud.

[4/4]
She needed to be certain of the distance and tried once again, going through the hand signals in a blur and activating the perfect amount of chakra. The column rose and she directed it towards the opposite end, letting it travel past the trees for quite some distance before altogether it stuttered and crashed to the woods floor, soaking the already moist ground. As essential as it is for her to learn more Ninjutsu she had her Eiseijutsu to master as well and that was far more important than anything else.

After a few days of rest, as instructed, Mi was practically back to normal. Minus the ache that seemed to pulse from the bone she had self broken. Stretching the aching arm, she picked her way through the woods the surrounded the waterfall. It had been almost comical to think that she had once struggled to find this place. The roaring echoes of the falls were a dead give away of it's location. Finding the falls, Mi decided she would do better training in a location where the water was a lot more still. Hiking up, she found an area a few miles before the falls. Dropping her bag, she pulled out a large vile, a clear liquid sloshed inside. Bringing it up to her face she let out a questioning 'hmm'. Most of the techniques she had learned were for close range and defensive Suiton attacks. She was at a level where she wanted to get a bit more creative. Tossing off her cloak, she hitched up the hem of her dress and waded into the water. Once she was thigh deep in the frigid water she uncorked the bottle and poured the liquid into the water in front of her.
[2/3]
Going through the hand signals quickly before the liquid became diluted, she created her own pattern, fueling her chakra into the technique. A small area directly in front of her began to glow the slightly eerie coloring of the chakra she expended. Her chakra infused with the solution, keeping it from spreading out and becoming diluted.
[3/3]
Next, Mi stretched out her arm and spread her fingers wide, flicking her wrist upward in the same moment. All of it fluid and graceful. Water shot up in all directions in front of her, forming spherical orbs that floated around her. They stayed there, waiting for her instruction. To tell the truth this was mostly a trial and error, Mi wanting to create her own jutsu to use against her opponents, one that no one knew about and one that would take her passing on to teach. Mi darted back towards the shore, the orbs following her as she went. Grabbing a thick twig, she tossed it into the air, one of the orbs flying straight for it and engulfing it completely. Mi watched as the solution she had dumped into the water began to come into play, eating away at the bark, dissolving it. It had taken he days to get a pure enough concentration of solution that would eat away at anything it touched and now she had it. Allowing herself a small moment of elation she smiled, unseen by anyone who knew her. Finally she had something concrete to use against her opponents. Disbanding the orbs, they puddled to the ground all her around her, eating away at the earth for a moment before being absorbed completely.

++++Heading towards the village waterfalls only took but a few minutes. As instructed to the young boy by the Mizukage, perhaps, starting here would be a good idea. In a streak of shadowy gray lines, the young boy appeared atop a rock formation at the center of the falls, merely standing there as he looked into the distance, facing in the direction where the water flowed. Apparently, as he saw from the distance, the water would flow right out of the village, and into the outskirts and the farming districts. Thus, it would be practical to trace the water line from here, onwards, in order to get some clues. But before doing so, however, Kami thought that it might be a good idea to also get a water sample, from both the outskirts, from this place, and from any other place that the water might flow. He then took out a small sheet of paper, and dipped it into the water. Once it had become wet, he removed the sheet and conveniently placed it inside a capsule and stowed it away inside his pouch. Moving on, he opted to follow the stream and trace the source, and perhaps, once he found the connection of this stream to the water treatment facility, he would find the answer that he was looking for,. .

His arrival to the waterfall was quite expected. It was where he'd practiced so much, and met the rest of his squad from before the exams. They'd never gotten to do a mission, but they'd still dominated the exams quite thoroughly. It had been a close call on many occasions, but now it was his time to prepare for his genin. Sitting beside the fall, he closed his eyes... This was going to be quite the process.

[1/18]

For now, the monk focused on the chakra. The state of defense was going to be one of real irritation. It was hard to maintain the idea of defending, using himself. The sword was what that was for, but then again, one's body was just as efficient. The monk thought heavily though.

[2/18]

The scroll itself read that one was to be aware of their surroundings. It wasn't hard to be aware of one's surroundings, but that meant constant vigilance. How was one to keep that up for the most part? Thinking heavily, he decided to simply let things be.

[3/18]

The flow of the waterfall... Leaves flowing gently. There was so much, but it wasn't about taking in all the sensory information. It was hard to sort to be 'aware' when it came to one's surroundings. Nonetheless, Alzayr attempted to keep his mind open, eyes moving over the landscape slowly.

[4/18]

The monk thought on the sky. Keeping himself looking about, his gaze fell skyward. The mist slipped off from the base of the fall inhibiting his vision slightly. It was a wondrous thing, in which he smiled. His attempts to move his chakra were rather bizarre. It was supposed to operate efficiently, cloak him... It only... Seemed to wobble.

[5/18]

Chakra seemed to cycle through it all. It was the heart of every ninja. His weapons went so far as to even thrive on them, it seemed. With the proper methods, his family were capable of nullification of things, with their own. The attempts though... It required something specific. Something encasing even.

[6/18]

It wasn't quite time yet. It just wasn't feeling proper now... He willed chakra to move, however it wasn't steady. It just wasn't feeling the same as if he were to do another of the states. Power... That was natural. Control though... That required effort much like this one.

[7/18]

What were the similarities between the two? Chakra shaping was mandatory for this particular bit. The shaping though... It was complicated here. It had to be form fitting. It had to be flowing. Circulating even. How was he to fix that though?

[8/18]

Alzayr took another deep breath. It whirled inward, and so did his mind. He thought to the land he had made in favor of sitting there aimlessly attempting to learn. The rivers and forests. Plains and mountains. They went spreading about him, swallowing his thoughts of the falls, and substituted his new world.

[9/18]

Now the world seemed even more different. Was it his attempts to learn something entirely new? The land seemed crisp and chill. Not quite the same as when his thoughts were on control. Defense... It was so foreign, it seemed. He couldn't believe how it had changed.

[10/18]

Through the snow ridden woods, the monk walked. It was hard to find one of the chakra streams that were his. The very foundation of half of what he learned, and more so beyond that! It was something that was life and joy in itself. He continued to simply wander.

[11/18]

He couldn't tell how long he had been "wandering", however, he knew that even he was losing patience. The world was his. Why couldn't he find his own streams and such! Closing his eyes a moment, he thought on the world, and the snow seemed to slip away, drifting on water.

[12/18]

The world seemed to be green again, and yet there was a distinct lacking in sound. The sound of water flowing, that signified the very being of the chakra streams. The very flow. It couldn't have been stopped, else things would have become rather complicated for the monk.

[13/18]

It seemed he was back to what would be wandering, until he thought again. The ground trembled beneath him, and a spire of earth rose with a platform atop it, taking him skyward. The feeling of being in the air, no matter how fictional it was was glorious.

[14/18]

Lines on the landscape. It was solid white. Veins of white in luscious greens and vivid colors of life. Veins of white, unperturbed by even his will. They were his. Embedded within him, and he knew there. Leaping from the platform, he landed on another lower down. Stone to stone he traveled, for the largest concentration of the white veins.

[15/18]

Landing upon the ground nearby, he smirked. It seemed to be where many of the "rivers" concentrated themselves, congregating and upon noticing it, it was simple. They'd frozen over. He heard no water, because it had ceased to run on the surface. Deep beneath though... It ran fully. How was he to immerse himself in the water when it was there? HIs foot came down on the river's surface, breaking through. The water gave way, and he fell within.

[16/18]

It was hard to tell what was going on. The world about him whirled, and he went spinning downstream. It was impossible to tell, darkness swirling about him. HIs thoughts bubbled up, and suddenly, he willed the wall above him be gone. The ice to break. And so it did.

[17/18]

Outside, his eyes opened slowly. Glancing about the world, his smile soft. His hand moved upward, and a stark and heavy blue encasing his hand in blue. It was solid. Strong. He felt right. Whatever he had done, he had done quite right. And all was good.

Carrot leaped from rock to rock, easily moving over the wet stones thanks to boots made for slipping and sliding. Her Snow head band was strapped to her waist as she moved and her bag bounced on her back as she neared the main waterfall "Wooooooow. That's not bad..." she moved closer with her hands in her pockets, wishing they had things like this in Snow "Very nice...hm?" she noticed someone sitting on the other side of the waterfall from her, a man. Briefly wondering why she had noticed him, Carrot made her way closer to her side of the waterfall "Hello."

The time spent training was trying his patience more than anything in the world. How in hell's blazes had his father had the patience for these? It was certainly a feeling of accomplishment once he had it covered, but nonetheless, it was a long road to each one, and each was progressively longer. Normally, the rushing water would have hindered even the monk's ears, but at this point, the blue aura which irradiated from him was giving him aid. A newcomer. A unique one at that.

He swaggered to his feet lazily, and turned. The state of defense slipped away from him as he will, as he gave a passing wave, adjusting the blades he had with him for a more comfortable bit.

"'Lo there, missy! First time looking at a waterfall?" the monk inquired, motioning to the falling pillar of water beside him. He wasn't terribly sure of who this person was. Hadn't even seen her while he'd been traveling, as far as he could remember. "What brings you out here, anyhow? You're lookin' a bit young to be out here." He wasn't looking for anything in particular, her ninja plate on her belt avoiding his gaze.

Carrot smiled at the man "Actually, yes. We don't have waterfalls in Snow. Just avalanches." she replied, joking but being equally serious. Avalanches were as close to a waterfall as she'd ever seen and were infinitely more dangerous. She lept over the water to land on a rock mid way through the waterfall and her boots slipped slightly. Carrot brought her arms out to steady herself then jumped the rest of the way across to land on the man's side of the waterfall "I'm being nosy. And I don't look young. I am young seeing as I'm just barely over 12." her tone was very matter-of-fact as she settled her bag once more on her shoulder "Ayaki Daichi. Chunnin from Snow. A pleasure to meet you."

The odd girl hopped across the waterfall's stones, sticking out a short way from the base. It could have been pretty dangerous really, and Houou Tsume wasn't one to let him hop across powerful bodies of water without opposition. His thoughts went drifting a moment... He had to practice with the sword in some time. He'd do so when he tested the squad when he made his return to the academy.

"Ayaki, huh? Strange name. Haven't been up that far in a long while though," the monk laughed, as he looked her over one last time. A small girl. A kid that young really shouldn't be a shinobi... Not by his standards. "The name's Alzayr. Zah-eer. Got it? Wonderful! I'm one of the jounin here in the mist. Not fond of the jackets most of us are s'posed to wear. Nonetheless, nice to meet you too."

Carrot tilted her head noticing distracted the man seemed "I have a strange name? Alzayr...Well, I prefer to be called Carrot." she bent at the waist to examine the man from a different angle "Chunnin's are supposed to wear vests, I hear. But I don't wear that either. They look stupid and serve no purpose." she straightened and began looking around the place "Well, you seem friendlier than the other people I've met. They're all very stiff...Not much fun." she scratched a shoulder, very aware of the tracking jutsu that had been placed on her earlier.

"Standard defensive measures to defend you. Wouldn't say purposeless," the monk laughed. The girl was a funny one, but she was honest. That was more than obvious at this point in time. "Now.... That's a bit more conventional, but equally strange. Don't mind the Lord Mizukage and Kiri. They're just being them, and I'm being me. What brings you 'round these parts, anyhow?"

"Standard, eh?" Carrot tapped her chin with one finger "You're lord and Miss Kiri are being very them in that case." she agreed, nodding. At his question she gave him a very level and serious look "I am here to spy on Mist and plot how best to destroy it." Carrot said, her voice strained with holding back giggles I'm not but that's what everyone seems to think. Every village I go to treats me like a leper. I'm only visiting the villages out of curiosity." she smiled at the sound of a bird or something and continued "I've only ever been to Snow. Its nice to just wander the village after being stuck in one place for so long."

"That's just people being gruff and unfriendly. Just don't sweat that," Alzayr laughed. The monk scratched absently at the side of his head, watching the girl attempt to get serious. It was clear little Carrot wasn't too talented with attempting to be serious with her tone.
"Well, little Carrot. You're very welcome to try, but I'm sure I'd stop you like the hero I am," the monk answered her, a bit more seriously than she had with her joke about destroying the village, "Visiting isn't a bad plan, really. I meant to go on a learning journey throughout the nation, too."

Carrot giggled, like this Alzayr immensely, and bowed slightly "You can try to stop me, Mister Hero. I am a genius after all." she straightened, still smiling "Exactly. But everyone seems to think that I'm up to something. Its depressing how hostile the villages have become."
