"Sure" Alex made a turn and suddenly felt like she should tell him something. "Here we are" she turned into his driveway and stopped. "Thanks for shopping with me"

"Thanks, and your welcome." he said as he stepped out of her car and closed the door. He sighed as he slowly walked to the front of his house.

Alex backed out of the driveway and drove away to her house a block away.

Hiroshi walked in and slammed the door. He plunged onto the couch. "Why is it so hard? Why can't I just look at her straight in the eye and say 'Alex, I love you. I always had, and always will'. Why is that so hard?!" he asked himself as he started crying for awhile then stopped a few moments later.

Alex drove up into her driveway, seeing Jordyn's car in the driveway. "Well, I wonder why she's here" She got out of the car, got the cake from the front seat, and walked into something she never thought she would have seen. She dropped to cake, ran back to the car, and drove back to Hiroshi's.

After awhile, Hiroshi finally managed to calm down. He walked back outside and saw Alex's car drive up on his driveway. "Huh? What is she doing back here?" he asked himself, wondering what was going on.

Alex knocked on the door, about ready to cry. She didn't know if she could hold back tears for so long.

Hiroshi opened the door as soon as she knocked. He saw her expression, almost like she was about to cry. "Hey, what's wrong?"

Alex threw herself into his arms, starting to cry on his shoulder. She was too sad to speak and she could barely move. The only thing she needed right now was comfort and reassurance.

Hiroshi quickly started blushing, but he stopped as soon as he heard her crying. He wondered what happened, and he wrapped his arms around her, giving her the comfort she needed. "What's wrong Alex?" he asked in a calm tone of voice.

"Jake...he..." Alex hiccuped, "Jordyn...she...they..." she choked out. "He cheated on me"

Hiroshi couldn't believe what he just heard. He thought he would make a great husband for Alex. He rubbed his hands along her back to comfort her. "I'm really sorry to hear that Alex. Is there anything I can do to cheer you up?" he asked, looking at her.

"I...don't know. But can I stay here for a while? I don't know if I can go back until I have the courage to confront him...and Jordyn" Alex buried her head in his shoulder, knowing he would always be there for her. She was glad for that.
