Lieutenant Itaku Obichi was still wandering around the medical infirmary his left arm still limp from his wound that he hadn't taken care of yet. He noticed both Greg and Yume and walked over to them. " Well I am glad to see that you are both safe, that battle....wasn't an easy one by far.... everyone suffered causalities....." His voice was somber but he quickly shook it off and smiled.

((Yeah I checked and thought..."Greg's hardcore!" Do ya hafta kill him off? ((Yes, I meant to type that way....yes...))))
"Mmm, better." Yume replied rubbed her eyes. "They said my leg would be okay soon. There will be a scar, but they can prevent that seeing as how deep the shrapnel was embedded. I should hove full use of it though. My other would have pretty much healed up too."

((I plan on him dying eventually, but not anytime soon unless somebody kills him...then he'll just blow up. Otherwise, it'll be delayed way into the future before he does it to himself))
Greg sighed a silent sigh of relief. He smiled and held her hand in both of his. "That's good Yume. Maybe when you're all healed, we can go out to the upper-level balcony or maybe to the lake." he suggested somewhat timidly. Both locations were beautiful spots that had a lot to look at. The upper-level balcony was seldomly a place Greg went, but when he did, it would be for the sight of the forest surrounding the base to the east. The image vanished from his mind as he focused on the Lieutenant's words. "Yes.....many were lost...but the energy field that was created before the total bombing did save a lot of buildings and lives." he replied, not at all giving himself credit for the field he created. "But none-the-less, I want to put a request into the commander that we send a squad to help rebuild Snowtown. Perhaps if they allow us, a proper burial cerimony in order to reconize the lost.....but not of any soldiers, just the citizens. We brought our battle to their doorstep, and they were caught in the cross-fire" he muttered the last few words quietly.....did that girl find her friend? Are they safe?...... Greg's eyes met Itaku's. "Please allow me to take the message to her." he asked, knowing that somebody else might try to. Greg felt the need to be one of the rebuilding squad, since he couldn't protect them all.

((I see. I can't kill off my own roleplay characters. I get too attached. By the way, Itaku thanks for leaving Nao and Yuki in the middle of the ship, lol.))
Yume blushed slightly at Greg's suggestion and gave a nod of consent, before listening attentively to the rest of what Greg had to say. "If you're planning to make some sort of rebuilding squad, then I'm more than willing to join." Yume interjected softly. "By the time you get permission and some other volunteers, my leg should be healed."

((i do to, but i also begin to get bored with them sometimes haha))
Greg wanted to protest, but he knew she'd go anyways. "Alright....but just make sure you're fully healed before we decide to leave." he said worrying about her a bit. ((sorry for the lame post.....running short on time haha. huge storm moving through))

Yume smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry. I'll be sure to heal properly before leaving the base." she replied, her voice warm. "You be sure to get plenty of rest too, okay?"

Greg nodded, knowing that any rest he would need for a while would be to get back on a standard sleeping schedual. The effect of the spell on his body rested him fully, so it'd be a while before he really needed to sleep. "Hey yume...i'd love to stay and chat....but you need to rest...and i need to put my request into My- I mean the commander." he said, regretting almost saying Myra's common name without the professional title stated before. "I'll...be back later okay?" he said, walking away. he stopped at the door and turned around, and with a small flick of his wrist, the small pot beside Yume's bed filled with roses. "Bye" he said with a smile.

Yume smiled and waved goodbye to Greg, her cheeks turning a slight shade of pink at the appearance of the flowers. She then turned back to Itaku, and fixe him with a concerned look. "Are you alright, Itaku? You weren't injured in the battle, were you?" Yume asked quietly.

"I'm glad to say your leg is fully healed Miss Igarashi." the doctor told Yume, a kind smile wrinkling his features as he glanced through her file. "You have finished the therapy course we had recommended for you, and everything checks out. I'm glad to give you a clean bill of health." the doctor finished finished as he shut the folder. "Thank you Doctor." Yume replied, as she stood up to leave. "Just a moment, Miss Igarashi. I do have to warn you. Your leg, although healed, will never recover it's full functionality. It will always be weaker than the other and you will experience a chronic limp for the rest of your life. I'm afraid that cannot be avoided." The doctor stated, frowning slightly. "You may also at times experience reoccurring pain. However, this can be treated with rest and painkillers. Please keep these limitations in mind so you do not re-injure yourself, alright?" "Yes Doctor." "Then you may go." "Yes, and thank you very much."
