[[Yeah. It wasn't fun, standing out in the cold for an hour in a short sleeve shirt...not fun...]] Alright everyone :] our first assignment should be pretty simple. What I want you to do is each of you take a telescope and observe the night sky. Take notes if you see any star constellations.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra set up her telescope and looked out into the night sky. She saw many stars and planets through the cheap scope, but wasnt very keen on looking for constellations. "I think thats Mars..." she sighed, jotting down the location and mapping it on her parchment. ...6th Year Slytherin

Aims telescope at different areas of the sky and traces star patterns with her index finger... Alright, that is Leo, I'm pretty sure... Traces... So that must be Saturn... Aims telescope, and then records findings on star chart...

Aludra Yvette... "Why do I always get so tired in thi subject." Aludra thought to herself, letting out a silent yawn. So far on the map and parchment she had a few contellations down, including Draco, Hydrus, and the Dippers. All the planets were neatly mapped as well. ...6th Year Slytherin

Alright everyone. From the information you have on your parchment of the stars, I would like you all to hand the papers in so I can look at them.

*Text sets up her telescope and pulls out parchment and a quill. She searches the night sky for anything interesting. She spots something*
"I think I see Leo... Better write that down..."
*She does so, graphing it carefully on the paper. She continues to look. Then, she spots Ursa major. She writes this down as well. She continues graphing and writing down constellations until she is satisfied. Scribbling her name on top of the page, she walks over to the professor.*
"Here's my parchment, professor."
