Suudonym Aila smiled warmly at the little pokemon. It seemed harmless enough, but she thought it best to avoid appearing hostile or otherwise villainous. "Return," she said, holding up the ball and drawing the Aron back inside. Best to check the other one as well, she decided. With a nod to Fleur and Misdreavus to ascertain that they were still ready for whatever may come, she pressed the release. The next Pokemon wouldn't be quite so harmless. What appeared was a large, mean looking Lairon. It had cracks in its armor and he looked at Aila with wild eyes. The large steel/rock type then charged with no warning. He didn't know her and thus that meant she wasn't worth his trust! The beast roaring as it meant to bash into the small human and send her flying.

Aila had anticipated something like this would happen, but her reflexes weren't quite quick enough to dodge the sudden assault completely. The Lairon caught the right side of her body as she attempted to step out of the way, a hot pain seeping into her arm and the force bringing her to the ground. Fleur was immediately between her human and the raging steel type, vines poised to strike should the Lairon dare to lay a hand on Aila again. "Revenant, Psybeam," the girl called as she staggered to her feet, readying the Lairon's pokeball to withdraw it should the Misdreavus succeed in drawing its attention away. "Drea!" Finally! Revenant had been waiting for the opportunity to do something! From her place behind the Lairon, she aimed her best Psybeam at the pokemon.

Rocket Agent Seth Seth actually wasn't where they had all left him. He told them he'd be watching them all, and he made good on his word. The tall elite was actually on a sturdy branch in a high tree. It was a good vantage point to see a majority of the route, and he held a pair of powerful binoculars in one hand. However, he was expecting her to come back. When she started speaking, the elite looked down at her from his perch. He snorted in disgust at her request. "You want another chance? I don't think so, grunt. You should have thought about that before taking on an obvious bird nerd. We have a schedule to keep and I'm not going to sit around and wait for you to get something better because of your own incompetence. Sit there and wait for the others." She should have expected such a response. But, really? How was she supposed to know the girl would have had only Pidgey? She wouldn't until she'd picked her target and sent her pokemon in. There was a completely equal chance she'd had a Pidgeotto or another bird type and Claire wouldn't have known at all until the girl either released one for a battle, or until Claire released them herself. Even bird nerds could potentially have stronger birds than Pidgey, but just her luck that this one did not. Him saying that she should have known better before ever getting near the girl was absolutely ridiculous - she didn't have the time to sit and watch her to see if she'd release one or several of her pokemon, that was out of the question - so was she supposed to instinctively know the girl had six Pidgey? As before, there was a completely equal chance she'd had stronger pokemon.
Ugh, stupid girl.
Claire made a mental note to train that much harder when she got the chance, to work off all her extra frustration, and, when Seth did not take the belt of pokeballs, she slung it over one of the branches for him to take when he'd finished. She turned to walk back to the jeeps but paused, then spun on her heel, unclipped a random pokeball from the belt, and then walked towards the grouping of jeeps to wait for the others. They were allowed to keep one, after all, and she was going to take what was rightfully hers, even if.. she didn't have any idea what to do with it. Odette would murder the poor thing, that was certain, so she probably couldn't keep it.. Maybe she could trade it, or sell it to someone. Either way, she'd figure something out later.

Aila glared at the pokeball in her hand as though it offended her. Between the two, the young and impressionable Aron was definitely the preferred prize. She gauged the condition of her arm carefully and, determining that it had not been broken, resolved to see after its treatment herself upon returning.
"Both of you did quite well," she said, turning to the Ivysaur and Misdreavus, the two beaming under her praise (one more outwardly than the other). The trio started on their way back in the general direction of the drop-off point. She spied Claire a ways off and approached the woman, regarding her with a nod even as she turned and moved to leave. She noticed Seth perched in the tree shortly after and, realizing she had been instinctively holding her injured arm, released it so that it could rise in salute.
"Mission successful, sir." She clutched the two pokeballs she had acquired in her free hand.

Seth was hard to please, that's just how it went. His demands were not always reasonable ones, and he knew it. He continued watching the others, although he did glance down as she left the belt, but then came back and plucked one of the balls from it. He just smirked, and said nothing of it.
"Very well," Seth then spoke as Aila came back with her two Pokemon. "Are you keeping one?"

"Yes, sir. The target was in possession of an Aron and a Lairon. I would like to keep the Aron." She held the Lairon's pokeball towards Seth as though it were proof of her triumph. She would have preferred the elite take the unsavory thing from her sooner rather than later, but she would hold onto it for later if it seemed he had no intent of collecting it now.

"Leave it, and wait for the others." Not that Aila had much of a choice, but well. Seth didn't intend to come down until all of them had completed their tasks.

Rocket Agent Seth The Biker flailed and stumbled around unable to see and groping at air, trying to grab and pull off the Shuppet to no avail. However, with the unsteady movements of the Biker, the Shuppet's aim was not true and the Shadow Ball missed its target after it was fired. The Charmeleon still had to duck though, but his focus quickly went back to Faleen. It lashed its tail before leaping at her with maw wide and flames dancing between its teeth. A Fire Fang attack. The Flareon wasn't faring quite as well as the Charmeleon though, the Dark Pulse struck and the fire type was near fainting. It then gave one more attack, spiting up a glob of purple goo at the Umbreon in a Toxic attack. Jarred from a clear sight of fire, the last thing that he clearly saw was the large red lizard approaching his master. He wanted to let go of the human and hurry to her, but if he released the biker, then it would free him up to do more harm, so he held fast, Small lips turning down into a frowning with a more determined look on large eyes. Already on her feet, Faleen’s eyes locked onto the Charmeleon who had to dodge an attack from her Shuppet. But it did not take long for the pokemon to ready another attack and turn his attention back onto her. Grabbing the bike off the ground to heave it back onto its wheels, only to thrust it toward the Charmelion before making a run toward the biker. “Damn it! Damn it! Umbreon! Absol! “ She was surprisingly pleased with the consistency of Shuppet’s behavior, completely disorienting the biker. Her teaser lay on the ground from where it had been knocked from her hand, she instead put rare trust into her Shuppet, which was something she didn’t normally do often, and made her best attempt to reach the biker to grab his pokeball from him. Umbreon Lurched back, Eyes wide as he felt the sickness soaking into his very flesh, dissolving into his blood, making his movements heavy and painful the longer he endured the poison. Jaw drooping open in a gasping pant, eyes snapping up to glare coldly at the flame eon. His own fur growing slick with thick ooze that pushed from his pours, shooting his own poison back out at the Flareon, synchronizing their symptoms. Absol, not doing nearly as well as Umbreon was, had finally pushed back to his feet, claws digging into the compact dirt earth of the path, his head hung low under his hunched shoulders, eyes locked onto the eon, his expression oddly devoid of emotion, despite his frustration. The scream of his master’s summon drew both of the Darks attention. Umbreon’s ears flew to attention; head jerking around, somewhere outside of this cloud, Faleen was calling for their assistance. With one last look to the Flareon, he knew he would have to rely on what attacks he had done, and the affects it now suffered from the poisons, and hope it wouldn’t take much longer to bring it down. With one last snort to the fire counterpart of his breed, he turned to leave it in its sickening state to do what he could for his master before he too would become too crippled and wakened from the toxins to be much more useful in battle, Absol was right at his tail. It hurt to move his legs, he could feel the throbbing in his heart, making very breath difficult. With Absol though, they leapt in to engage into the next battle.

The bike was heavy, and it was locked, thus Faleen didn't manage to move it very far. Still, the Charmeleon's teeth sank into the tire, causing it to burst and the rubber to melt. The fire type pulled back, shaking its head as it was momentarily disoriented. The Flareon though, squealed painfully as it took the poisoning from the Synchronize which zapped the last of its strength. The fluffy eeveelution then fainted. However, the Charmeleon quickly caught sight of Faleen making a bee line for its trainer. "CHAR!" A blast of flamethrower was fired in her direction.

Rocket Agent Seth Continuing to stumble around in his blindness, the Biker eventually tripped and fell flat. "Agh! Get the hell offa me you damn stupid ghost!" The bike was heavy, and it was locked, thus Faleen didn't manage to move it very far. Still, the Charmeleon's teeth sank into the tire, causing it to burst and the rubber to melt. However, the Charmeleon quickly caught sight of Faleen making a bee line for its trainer. "CHAR!" A blast of flamethrower was fired in her direction. Oh good! He fell, that should make things a little easier, She couldn't help but smile a little at the determined look on Shuppet's face as he held fast to the Biker. Faleen wasn't stupid enough to try and match strengths with the man, she just aimed to get in, snatch what she needed to stop the fire Pokémon and get away from him before he could react. That isn't what happened though. She felt a shot of intense heat behind her; she didn’t even have time to smell the burning of fabric and hair before she forced herself to get out of the way, closing her eyes again the brightness as she dropped and dove away from it, rolling over her shoulder in the dirt before pushing her hands to promptly get her back to her feet. She was further from her target now, and the small of her frayed and burnt hair and the fabric of her shoulder filled her nose. Noticing that her arm felt hot, she yelped in surprise when she looked down to see that her glove had caught fire. It was amazing how quickly she managed to rip it off, and stomp it into the ground. Checking her hair and shoulder over just in case… she was going to need to get this hair trimmed now. Her eyes narrowed at the Charmeleon, knowing she couldn’t take her eyes off of it without her pokemon there. Lucky for her, Absol and Umbreon had both replied to her calls, she just hoped they had taken care of that Flareon. Both the pokemon attacked the fire lizard. Umbreon with as much strength as he could muster, feeling most of his life draining away much more quickly now that he was moving around, launching a Dark Pulse, before he hit the ground by the bike and tumbled into the dirt with a resonating yelp from the poison and seized his body stiff. Absol, already having trouble seeing from the sand in his eyes, didn’t take any chances, sticking to his Arial Ace to ensure that he hit. There only concern was to get the attention away from their Master Umbreon looked horrible, and Absol didn’t look any better off, they were not going to last much longer, so if Faleen couldn’t get to the pokeball’s now, all she would have left to rely on was her Shuppet, and she did not like those odds. Leaving the smoldering glove on the ground, Faleen grabbed up the taser she had dropped. Then darted over, getting close enough to shoot the bards into the man’s skin and pump him full of charges. Right as Shuppet Let go to avoid getting hit from it as well.

TawnyAngel Owch. Frost grimaced internally again as the powerful electric attack slammed home. This was not going quite according to plan, but Skiron wasn't down yet, and even if he did lose the battle... Well, he had a dirty trick left up his sleeve, or more to the point in his small concealed holster... Humm, what were local regulations on shooting civilians? He hadn't had time to find that out yet, but it was probably best to err on the side of caution if at all possible. There was of course also the option of sending Skiron to attack the trainer instead, but again he preferred to hold of there for now in case the pikachu went for him; he didn't want to end his day electrocuted if he could possibly avoid it.
"Glaceon, Ice Beam!" Not a guaranteed hit thanks to all those illusions racing around but it was still a pretty accurate move, and if it did manage to hit there was the chance of freezing the pikachu solid to consider. He could really use a stroke of luck like that; coming out of his first mission in the Kodo region by the skin of his teeth when his mark was no more than a child would be extremely humiliating.
Skiron growled acknowledgement of the new order and spat a stream of ice at what he thought was the real pikachu. He wished he could tell for sure. (( D'oh I didn't see this post. Sorry. )) The Ice Beam hit, knocking the Pikachu head over tail several times before it skidded to a stop on its back. "Chuuu," it groaned, but remained unfrozen as it picked itself back up. He glared at the Glaceon, angry sparks flying. "Slam it!" The kid called. "Piii..." The Pikachu hunched over with its tail in the air, as if getting read to pounce. It then lept forward in attempt to throw its weight at the other Pokemon. "CHU!"
