"Riley may still be a little oblivious to little things like that, but I'm not. You had a look to your eyes that said you're planning something." Van said simply as he followed Riley out the door. "So are you?"

Mala sighed. "It's silly, you would probably laugh if you heard it." she said, honestly not wanting to discuss it at the moment. Especially since she wasn't sure how Van would take her plan, exactly. Still, she had enough of her old self inside her to keep her from completely lying to him.

"I'm not going to laugh. What kind of jackass do you take me for?" Van said casually.

((im just going to worm myself in now))
Ceri ran around the corner, and started to knock on Mala's door. "Mala! Mala!" she called out. Her red garb and long wooden staf was misleading-she a witch who specialized in light magic. She had heard that her friend had graduated, and she planned on taking her out for a special dinner to congradulate her. Ceri had missed the actual ceremony; she had found a lead on the brother whom had dissapeared last year from the school Mala was at.

"I don't take you for one. I'm just pretty damn sure I'll look like an idiot trying to explain it." Mala said, frowning slightly, heading to the door and leading them both outside of her home. She was too distracted to realise someone was knocking on the door, and was greeted with the sight of her friend from the acadamy. "Ceri! So glad you're here! I've got some old friends I'd like to introduce you to..." she said with a grin.

Ceri smiled. "cool! I just came over to give you congrats on graduating, and i wanted to treat you to lunch. I have noo problem of also talking your friends!" she said, waving at the people. "We can talk there and make official introductions." She was quite cheery, and seemed to bounce on the balls of her feet. She had her hands clasp together in front of her.

"Great! Let's go~" Mala said, seeming to have forgotten about skipping town. Most likely because she wanted to at least spend a little more time with her friend and have the chance to say goodbye before she would leave.

Ceri smiled, "Great! I know this really good place down town that's quiet..." She hooked her arm into Mala's elbow and started to drag her off.

Mala grabbed a hold of Van's hand and lead him as well as her brother on as Ceri dragged her off. It was sort of like a small chain of people.

Ceri smiled back at the group. "Sorry about taking you away, but you all looked like you needed a good meal." Her white hair was flouncing behind her like a river of silver.

((Long live the Hatter indeed! biggrin ))
"I am so confused..." Riley said as he and Van were dragged along.
"Think of it this way, we're getting a free meal out of it that's not blandly roasted deer for the upteenth time.

Cheshire has been sitting in the same place as the whole place around him was in chaos. Holding his plate while continuing to eat and watch everyone, he smiled with amusment as he held the fork in his mouth. He truely was like a cat when it came to luck, easily avoiding everyone's punches, food, and other suspicious objects that were thrown.
[Lol, I love me some good food fights :3 I almost got into one at school while I was the one that almost started it]

"With their traveling habits, they most likely did." Mala said with a laugh. "Ah, I remember the good old days - slaying monsters on the roadside and eating campfire-cooked meals..." she said with much nostalgia.

"I didn't mention? Oh, for five years before I settled here for the acadamy, I traveled with them! I remember we started our journey all the way in Atalus. Ah, but let's get to wherever we're going before I go into too many details!" Mala said.
