Chie was ready the second time. The clone on watch alerted her with a tap when the opponent became visible. This would be his downfall. Two different handseals formed in each of Chie's hands. The two halves were combined in a whole as in between her now closed hands formed the hilt of a giant cleaver sword. Chie only touched it for a second, however, before her hands parted and the sword levitated on its own. Her left hand pulled back as her right arm extended toward the bandit. The sword flew and as it did it effortlessly knocked aside the kunai fired at her. The sword continued forward as it aimed to pierce the man directly in the chest. While the wound would look fatal, Chie actually aimed the point so that it would not actually kill him if he was stabbed. No, in addition to be adverse to killing, she wanted to extract information from him so that the group could find out why they were attacking.
At the same time, the clone who alerted Chie went into action. She formed a set of a handseals with the hand which did not alarm her real self as a tornado formed around the target. The tornado would not be stronger than the sword, but it would do well at holding him in place until Chie's sword could reach him. The other two clones then darted off as they headed to the forest closest to Konoha. The fire was spreading over there, which is why the two acted. The two together each stood side by side and their hands extended toward each other. Each one formed part of a sign at perfect synchronicity with each other. Finally, the two brought their hands came together as a giant dragon of water formed. The serpent dragon spun around the area as it circulated in a way to ensure that the fire would not spread any further to the village of Konoha. The two clones guided the dragon along the path so that the flames did not spread. This was Chie's best contribution to safety. (Exit)

Seeing as he was unable to dodge the man apparently had decided to take San down with him. However San had other plans in mind since dying was not the day's agenda. Everything seemed to slow down in the moment while her left hand began to penetrate into the scout's chest cavity. Her right hand touched itself to the tattoo on her stomach. Suddenly a gunbai emerged into her hand from what seemed to be thin air and with one swift motion she rammed the war fan's top into his wrist in a manner that drove the punch up and away from her head. At the same time her lightning cuddling fist penetrated his heart and left him dead. This would be San's first time killing a human, and the moment felt like it took ages to pass. No doubt the adrenaline being pumped into system had caused this altered state of perception. As her enemy slumped forward onto her everything seemed to catch up in time all at once. Heart pounding and breathing heavy she blinked for a moment as her brain processed everything that had just occurred.
Pulling her hand free from the body of the deceased soldier she noted that it was covered in blood. Noted the reality of the death. Of course they weren't done yet, and if she wished to see the three of them through this battle then her work was not yet done. "Hum of electricity gives life to beating wings, fly fast as your heart desires..." The movement of her lips began building up chakra of a raiton nature as San utilized a technique for the first time that she had only previously studied academically. "flock with righteous fury!" As the words finished sparks of energy appeared all around the sky before they grew into hummingbirds made of lightning. It was then that they swarmed down upon the first of the scouts which Kya had targeted. The technique had been performed well save for the fact that San had overcharged it. Before they even knew what was happening their kunai had been dealt with and a series of attacks were coming their way. The hummingbirds would arrive first as they swarmed the scout Kya had targeted first. Their attacks would overload the man's shield once more as they rammed their electric bodies into him from all angles. It was then that Kya would take him out with the usage of the technique she had copied from San. The last remaining scout of the trio would find himself unable to dodge the incoming sword and it be destroyed in the resulting collision with his newly recharged shield. However with the shield needing to be recharged once more, Kya's scythe would easily slice through his hood and head coverings to effectively ice pick his brain. Despite Chie's efforts to land a none lethal blow, the Uchiha woman had ensured their deaths. ᑃ There was an odd satisfaction that washed over Kya when her electrified hand crushed the skull of the soldier below her. Her mangekyo glowed brighter than it ever had in the past. She fought to remove her hand easily enough, slamming the scythe down with suffiecent strength following her roll that his head was not only pierced, but his body was crushed down into the ground immediately as well. Her eyes rolled back, teeth digging deep into the fleshy bottom lip. Euphoria rushed over her, rolling from her bloody hand away in reverberations that made her shiver as she snatched the scythe free, causing blood to flick into the air.
The water dragon quelled her flames, as she exhaled the fervor of death from her body. She wiped the blade of her scythe on the shirt of the one who was leaking blood from his head all over the ground. She closed her eyes, offering up a prayer to Kortal Kahn that her enemies would find their place in the energy of the universe now that she'd freed them from their mortal coils. She turned, looking at her allies with a splatter of blood staining her face in such a way that might look frightening. Her face was one of contentedness. As the steam rose and smoke began to quell from the water dragon containing and suffocating fire too intense to sustain on such a small amount of steam, all that could really be seen besides dripping blood from hand and cheek was the reds in her eyes, and the symbol of Nagakaborous that would be visible within.

Chie's eyes widened when Kya's additional action caused the man she stabbed to end up dead. She wasn't afraid so much as she was furious. Her right hand was flung away as the water sword which impaled the man exploded in a frenzy manner. She hated murder. These people were scumbags who attacked first, but they didn't need to die. Apparently though she was the only one who thought that. Her two teammates were swinging their powers around like it was a d**k measuring contest. Regardless, it was done. No one was going to grieve these losses, so Chie did her best to restrain her tongue. Her clones all popped since the battle was over, and the fires were quelled.
"Alright! I get to ask questions now." Chie said as her body and tone was directed to San. So far that girl has been awesome since she has given her exactly what she wanted. But now that she found herself faced off against enemy forces and these other two seemed prepared for a fight, she felt that she was the only one not anticipating something to go down. "First you ask me to come with you to Takumi. That was awesome, but you were incredibly vague about why we were going. I'm not even sure if you bought anything. And then you felt a disturbance in the force and brought us to this random outpost. Then we met this beautiful lady, but then she went Judge Claude Frollo on the forest while singing Hellfire. So now that we have a moment to peace because apparently murder is in fashion, what the hell just happened?"
San was simply glad that the battle was over. With Kya having finished off the other two scouts they could breath somewhat easier now. Still knowing that the scouts had penetrated this deep into the land of Fire was not a good sign. With a simple tap of the hand to flesh her war fan vanished once again into the tattoo. Chie's voice caught her attention and broke whatever train of thought San might have had. In all honestly she couldn't blame the girl, much of this trip had been both unorthodox and hidden. Pulling a few scrolls from the holsters on her belt San held them up for the girl to see. "I bought some scrolls yo." Of course the scrolls were both cover and bonus. The real mission of her trip was simply to confirm that the orders for the village had been successfully handed out. Of course San would not speak of that here. Perhaps if Chie inquired again at some location which was more secure she would divulge the information. Gold and silver eyes looked to Chie for her response and for Kya to chime in if she felt like it.
As for the "murder" question well, that could be explained in the here and now. "As for what went down? We just intercepted a squad of UHV soldiers and took 'em down. Not sure if you know or not but they ******** hate our existence. See originally the UHV talked a big game about fighting back against the oppressive power of the major nations E X this one. Thing is since then? They just hate ninja at large. So now they want to destroy us." San let the words sink in. Chie had never left the village before so it was really possible that she had never come across the reality that was the UHV. This was just the surface of it too.
"So basically these assholes want to murder every single person in Konoha because of their potential for being a ninja. Those they don't kill? Well it's not pretty. Kids mostly, they fill their heads with lies. Make em forget who they used to be." That was the reality of it. The other reality, the one that San didn't want to admit? Was that she wasn't skilled enough to take them down alive. The soldiers of the UHV were trained well. They could be taught quicker since they didn't rely on chakra and just had to learn how to use simple weapons like the kunai guns. Their shields made it even harder. In truth the shoes she was trying to fill were huge. It was hard, she didn't know if this was the right thing to say or if killing them instead of letting them go was a real option. But at the end of the day, she now had thousands who were directly relying on her to make the best decisions for the village. More in the land of Fire indirectly relying on her.
"Don't wanna say too much cause we don't know who else might be out here. But these guys? They're just recon. They poke around watching us, gathering intel, and looking for where we're open. Small fish but dangerous."

Chie was stunned silent. The UHV was real? The academy had a brief course on who and what the UHV were. They were supposed to be dealt with and destroyed, however. These ninja hating people exist? This was a lot of information to process. Furthermore, the sequence of events that San proposed didn't sound like the same events which conspired. "We didn't intercept them though, they attacked first." She said as she sorted through the facts. Maybe the beautiful but dangerous Kya had more tracking than she let on, but San and Chie were acting out of sheer instincts as they rolled with the paranoia of someone else being nearby. "Why would they attack if they're recon like you said? I mean, what information could they gather by engaging with us? It would have been smarter of them to only send two then and have the third guy hightail it in case we were as strong as we turned out being." Chie was mostly just ranting to herself. In truth, it was hard to accept the simple fact that people just hated them for being who they were. Her eyes fell away. There was no anger left in them, only concern.
"My students..." She mumbled worriedly. She was at the academy before all of this transpired. Chie needed to return and seriously train them now to become ninjas ready for this deadly reality. A fire ignited back behind the lens of her soul. Her majestic amber eyes crossed San's monochromatic glare once more. "If that's the case, then I ask that I be allowed to return to the academy. Not just to train academy students, but also to strengthen new genin who have just graduated so that they are not as unprepared for the harshness of this world as I was. I also ask for permission to research ninjutsu techniques stronger than that a typical genin may learn. Finally, I ask for the ability to train all ninja in missions which may exceed beyond the typical ability of a genin." Chie's words were stern and focused. She was motivated now to get as many people as she could ready to fight. Koromaru finally returned to Chie's side as he first took a whiff of Kya, walked around her legs, and then moved in between the two talking girls, his tail wagging passionately as red hues looked upward.

ᑃ Kya approached the pair of them, having heard Chie's inquiries, while dragging along the corpse of the soldier who she had reaped by his ankle. The other, she had set to flames to incinerate. The girl had some bravery to her, and that she could respect. In fact it brought a smile to her face as she dropped the corpse's leg and looked to San who spoke to the girl first. It was good that San had chosen to educate her, because Kya was less about sermons and more about broken bones teaching lessons, as one could assume from how she had handled the enemies that had just stood against her from her second most hated enemy. She took a cloth from her side, one usually reserved for cleaning blood from her scythe. With a deliberately slow motion she cleaned the blood from her face, and when ehr eyes came back into view they were activated no longer. Now soft grey whiffs amid the dark hazel stared down at Chie with a smirk.
She took what San said in stride, and harkened back to her training in dealing with the UHV. Her eyes fell on his weapojn, the Kunai launcher still gripped in his dead, not even twitching hand. The shock of death had come too suddenly for him. She flickered her occular prowess back to the girl as she wiped as much of the blood from her hand as she could. "They operate in trios, or quadrants, so if we took down three of their scouts, then it's entirely possible another one escaped. We can't know for sure, however, because he would've high tailed it as soon as we were found. Whatever they sought here, I dare hope against hope that we stopped them. However," she told Chie as she motioned to the corpse, "Death doesn't prevent interrogation in the ninja world."
"I read of a skill once while studying different types of ninjutsu with... an old friend. A technique called the Body's complete disappearance. I believe we could answer some of your questions if you, or one of your suiton inclined students, were to learn it. As for his request for training," Katherine said turning to eye San, "I don't see the harm in it personally. I have a bit of training I need to do myself, some missions I should take up to get the country more secured." SHe lifted the corpse, monstrous strength packed in a small body, and hefted it over her shoulder. "I'm going to drop this at the hospital, if I may take my leave. I'm going to the compound San. Meet me there when you have time?" THe way she framed her words and the slight nod of her head as she turned would clue her in to the meaning behind her words. If not stopped, Kya would be gone into the unburnt tree line behind them.

San started walking back towards the road as Chie followed up with more statements and questions. It was best if they were to get back to the village. "It's really possible they didn't know who we were... I mean I was nobody until recently. Plus as Kya said, ******** probably had a fourth member." Hopefully that hadn't gleaned anything of great import. Though she suspected they might have realized this outpost was empty. Not much of a thing by itself but if they were able to gather information from other areas around the village as well, perhaps the UHV would realize something was amiss. While San was concerned about the broader strategy of this conflict, it appeared that Chie had come to grow a concern for her fellow newly minted genin. As it was, that girl had a calling for the academy and the life of a teacher. Something to keep in mind going forward. "I like the sound of that! I'll make sure to grant your clearance for the A rank section of the library and ugh so far as leading goes... yeah why not?"
Turning her attention to Kya she acknowledged the woman's words with a nod before adding, "Got it, I need to handle some things at the office first but then we'll have some time to chat." Indeed San wished to return to the office and sit down for a bit before handling anymore business. In addition to this it would feel good to not have to adjust to new memories for a while after this. She couldn't possibly imagine how much information her clone was currently holding onto. "C'mon Chie lets hurry back lest we run into any more spies or soldiers." With that San made for the road back to the village. [Exit]

Chie listened as Kya spoke. So there may another scout. That was worrisome. But, San gave her permission to trained further training, as well as training other genin. This was all she needed. As San left, Chie turned and faced Kya. "If you bring one of these bodies to the academy, then I'll research this technique you spoke of in order to try and extract information. Put him on ice, however, so that I can get the info after I learn the skill." She said sternly. She wasn't sure if she was allowed to talk to Kya so bluntly, but hopefully the beautiful woman didn't kick her a**. Regardless, Chie left back along the path San started.
