And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
Pleased that a decision had been made, he could tell from the look on his wife's face that she had made a decision, he continued to eat his yogurt. It looked like he would be getting his son for the day, which he certainly didn't mind; days spent with his son were always good days. Finishing his yogurt, the man stands to toss the cup away and quickly wash his spoon in the sink. Turning, he lifts his glass of juice to drink. Today was going to be an eventful one with the little boy with him at the pool.

Mizuki pretty much took the fish down whole before just the juice was left. She took a sip before setting it down and grabbing the baby bag. She needed to make sure that it had everything. Swim trucks, swimming diapers, wipes, snacks. Once she was sure it was fine she handed the bag to Pyry. "I think we have everything that we need." She told him. She waited beside him waiting for something they did every morning.

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
Setting down his empty juice glass, the spirit takes the baby bag and slings it over one shoulder. There wasn't anything he needed himself, as all of his paper work was kept in his office. Glancing into the bag, he simply nods in agreement; it seemed that everything was there, and he trusted his wife had checked thoroughly. Turning to her, he smiled faintly, as if waiting for something.

Mizuki smiled. It seemed he was waiting for the same thing he was. She moved a little closer to him and gave a nice long kiss on the lips. She love her husband even if he was a bit shy. It didn't matter to her she loved him for all his faults. After a while she pulled back. "I love you." She told him then stepped away and gave her son a kiss on the forehead and his own 'I love you'. She then turned to Pyry. "Hey you'll have to tell Adney to baby sit soon. Then we can work on number two." She teased him.

Despite the fact that this was a daily occurrence, the spirit was taken slightly by surprise. The coloring in his cheeks was nearly indistinguishable, as he had gotten used to it. "I love you too." he responded, his words sincere as they always were. Pyry set his empty glass, as well as his son's empty bowl and spoon, into the sink. Finished with that small task, he turned to look at his wife as color flooded his cheeks. "I-I... Okay." it seemed that, despite his advances in expression, he could still be easily embarrassed by the woman he loved. Despite his joking about it earlier that morning, it was the way in which his wife had phrased it that had caused his reaction.

Mizuki was in a pleasant mood. She had invited Adney, Sky, Cam, and Ced to dinner. It was rare to have everyone there and she was happy that they could possibly make it. She knew that not everyone liked to eat fish all the time so the nights meal was pulled bbq chicken sandwiches for the adults and for Ephraim a few cut pieces of fruit and mac n cheese. The woman set out various side dishes of fruit, vegs, and salad. Everything hand to be prefect. Now all she had to do was wait for someone to say they were hungry and move away from the cartoons on the TV.

The Three Musketeers
Peeking into the kitchen to check on his wife, the spirit left his son in the hands of his youngest adopted brother, who was currently allowing the toddler to climb on his back. Stepping towards her, the man smiled faintly at the way she had set everything so perfectly. "You should take a break. Tonight is supposed to be fun." the spirit told her, leaning against the wall just inside the door leading to the rest of the apartment. "Do you need any help?" while his wife was the perfect housewife, despite the fact that she also worked, Pyry often felt guilty when she did so much. He wanted to pitch in somehow, but he always sought permission first.
Currently laying on the floor, the redhead was facing the ceiling with the two and a half year old Ephraim seated on his chest. The boy was usually quite calm, much like his father, but Cam was good at riling him up. It was just the feeling he inspired in most people; he radiated heat and energy that seemed contagious. He had been attempting to wrestle with the boy, who had refused by simply sitting on his adopted uncle instead to assert dominance without conflict.
Seated on the couch, Adney gazed intently at the cartoon currently playing on the screen. It had been a very long time since he had seen anything so bright, colorful and cheerful; the dark and unhappy times between now and then merely made it seem longer. He had allowed Pyry to rope him into a group dinner with his younger brother, his sister-in-law, his brother's bandmate, and had been encouraged to bring Sky along as well. It was certainly an interesting congregation, though there were certainly plenty of ties present. Sky looked up to Mizuki and happened to be his girlfriend, Cedric looked to her as a mentor, and he and Cam were the adopted siblings of Pyry. There were certainly other ties present, but those were the dominant ones at play. Taking a moment to consider that he was 'related' to some very famous musicians, he wondered just how things had turned out so beautifully for his brothers and himself.

Mizuki looked at her husband. She was being a little coy and flirty with him today. "No. I'm done. As soon as someone calls for dinner then we'll eat." The woman answered him. She could relax now. She then walked over to her husband and wrapped her arms around his neck before giving him a kiss. She didn't think that anyone could see them while they were against the wall. She must have something up her sleeves. She wasn't one to just do something at random.
"Hey get a room." Cedric called out in a teasing voice. He was just giving them a hard time. If Cam and him couldn't make out because their girlfriends were not there then why should the couples get to kiss. He looked at the screen of the TV. "Now the Rugrats theme is stuck in my head." He mumbled thinking about the instruments that were used. He also took time to make faces at the little boy on his friends chest.

Sky looked at the blond boy ruling over Cam. She could help but smile at the child as he mad terror. "I wish I could have a cute son like that, but there is more than wishing involved with that right Adney." It was her flirting with him. Her ears perked up and she turned her head at Cedric's words and gave him a push with her foot to tell him not to tease them like that.

The Three Musketeers
Knowing the look on his wife's face, he wasn't surprised when she moved towards him; he wrapped his arms around her waist in response, accepting and returning the kiss without managing to blush. Until, of course, Cedric's comment came from the other room and his face flushed red. While there were plenty of things he would say if he were Adney, or Cam especially, but these things would never occur to him. Like the fact that this was his apartment, they were married, or for the mere fact that this was their kitchen. Keeping his eyes on the blond in his arms, he raised an eyebrow at her in question. She was acting suspiciously, and in the years they had been married he had picked up on when his wife had something in the works.
"That is a room." the redhead pointed out, sitting up and dumping the toddler playfully into his lap. Spinning around to face the TV with the toddler still seated in his lap, he tilted his head in question. "And what's a rug rat? Some species of rodent?" he questioned, staring at the TV screen in confusion. Ephraim stood from his place in Cam's lap, moving towards Cedric and the random faces he was making. He indicated that he wanted to sit on Cedric's lap, but made no move to actually do so himself. Free from his overlord, the bass player followed faithfully in his tracks and scooted across the floor towards his friend. "Why do rats have a TV show?"
Ignoring the two musicians in the room, Adney glances briefly at his nephew when Sky mentioned a son, turning his gaze back on her with a raised brow. "Indeed there is." he agreed, wondering what she was getting at. Or maybe she was just flirting, which could also be the case. He wasn't sure if he were ready for kids, though he supposed he wasn't really getting any younger. He would probably want to get married first, and he thought a moment over whether his relationship with Sky would, or even could, lead to marriage. He supposed it certainly had a chance, but she would need to show a little more interest in that sort of commitment before he even considered popping the question.

Cedric rolled his eyes. Both at the room comment and the rodent comment. "Really. A monster knows what it is when a human doesn't?" the man commented as he patted his lap. It was a sign for the half mermaid to come and sit on his lap. He wasn't going to pick him up and just set him there. It would spoil him and after having two other nieces and nephews he was not going to let this one get spoiled too. "Rugrats is a human TV cartoon. My brothers let me watch it when I was little, but I wasn't allowed to watch racist shows like 'Little Mermaid'."
Mizuki's face was just as red and she turned around went back table. "Pyry could you get the buns out of the oven?" She asked her husband as she moved back to her friends and family. "Dinner's ready." The woman called out to the boys and one girl. Ephraim looked up then at Cedric and Cam. He could speak a few words because he was old enough to get some things out. "Opps they did again." He commented before running over to his mother.

Sky rested her head against Adney's shoulder. She had no idea what Cedric or Cam were talking about. She didn't watch any shows made in the US when she was growing up. Most of what she saw was French or Japanese. Both of which she could mutter out sentences with. Even then most of them were human shows. "What is it like to grow up like a human?" She asked her boyfriend. She didn't understand that kind of thing.

The Three Musketeers
With his wife blushing as well, the spirit didn't feel so shy about it; at least he wasn't the only embarrassed one. Turning to the oven as his wife asked him to retrieve something from within, he grabbed two of the heat pad things by the stove so as not to break another cooking thing; he wasn't protecting his hands so much as he was protecting the cooking thing from his freezing touch. Pulling the buns from the oven, he sets them carefully on top of the stove to wait for further instruction. Looking up as his son ran into the room, he smiled faintly to see his young offspring in good spirits.
Feeling Sky's head on his shoulder, the teacher relaxed back against the couch up until they were called to dinner. Reaching to take Sky's hand and move to the kitchen/dining room, the redhead stopped at her question. "I only had a normal upbringing for the first twelve years, and that was fifteen years ago, so I'm not the best judge. But I suppose it's like a lot of species, except for the lack of magic." he didn't really know what to compare it to, so he did the best that he could. "It's not very easy to explain without a lot to compare it to."
Seeing his friend roll his eyes, the redhead's eyes narrow slightly. "I was only a normal human for eight years, and I don't even remember most of it." he pointed out, noting that the room was clearing. "They don't exactly have TVs playing cartoons on the streets in New York City." he frowned, listening to Cedric's explanation. He didn't remember seeing the Little Mermaid, but that didn't mean anything. Normal humans didn't know that the mythical creatures they often portrayed and movies and TV shows, so he couldn't really blame them for coming across as racist. At his nephew's comment, he laughed openly. The boy probably shouldn't know what buns in ovens meant, but he still found the comment to be adorable and quite hilarious.

Mizuki pulled the high chair away from her seat. She was going to let Cam and Cedric fight over who was going to give him dinner. "When you guys are done eating tell me and I'll get the cupcakes out." The woman had gone out and bought cupcakes for the group. There were still some things that she didn't know how to make. She then took her seat next to the head of the table, which was saved for Pyry.
Cedric smiled and kidnapped Ephraim before his father could and took him to his high chair. Cedric knew how it work so it wasn't too hard. "Hey little man." He said as the tot started to grab at things. "Cam what is he going to play? Bass or guitar?" He joked. "Oh baby, baby." The tot responded.

Sky couldn't help but laugh at the words that were coming out of the little boy's mouth. "I bet he heard his daddy saying the same things to his mommy." She teased a little. It was a prefect 'that's what she said' moment, but Sky didn't say that out loud for everyone to hear. She then turned to Adney about a human childhood. "So no jumping off buildings to learn to fly and use magic then." She commented.
