Tokemaru wanted to bash his head against something hard, once again someone else had to point out something to him that should have been obvious in the first place. But he honestly believed that something could still be done. He gently pried Ingfire's hand off his shoulder and stood up.
"It's not just power lust Ingfire, there's also hate and pain from our betreyal. I can see it all in her. There IS a way to help her, I'm convinced of that." Tokemaru then turned to Hito.
"That's right Hito, I did drop my gaurd, and not ONCE did she take advantage of that. It wasn't naivity, it was a gamble, and I think it payed off."

Ingfire loosened his grip, his hand falling to his side. He stared at the spot where her Garganta disappeared, knowing full well she knew he could follow her. 'She can be helped, she can be turned back, but its by her own choice, we can't force her. Right now, she's feeling ecstacy from her power, but also rage at the Shinigami for ignoring her pleas for help.' He looked around at the remaining bystanders, the espada standing off to the side, then to Kage up in the tree.
'I'm going to talk to her one on one, don't let them try and attack that espada. He's the 7th, so he'll be a bit of a hassle even for you.' He walked to the spot where Ayame's garganta disappeared, and another one opened in its place. He walked through.

Tokemaru nodded his head at Ingfire.
"Do what you have to, we'll be ok. But I really think that Ayame isn't beyond help. It might not be today or tomorow, but if we keep trying, she'll eventually open up."

(I was out of the tree, but oh well)
Kage looked down at Ingfire and just smiled. She closed her eyes, tilted her head and said "Ingfire, you might have been a senior captain before I was captain, but you have been away for time. I have seen captains come and go, get killed, and retire. If worse came to worse, I think we could handle ourselves." Then she jumps out of the tree and walks near the Three men.

Ingfire turned around slightly towards Kage as he stepped into his garganta. 'I look forward to seeing how much you've all improved since I've been gone. You will all be tested soon.'
And with that, he disappeared into the garganta and it cloesd behind him.
