Seth gave a short laugh that could be interpreted as bitter, but not completely humorless.
"I have been here a long time," he admitted. Almost half his life, really.
However, her comment about his priorities renewed his smirk. "I always make an effort to keep my priorities straight."
However, he too noticed the waiting grunt and agent. He went silent and turn a now cold gaze on the two. Waiting impatiently for them to say whatever it is they wanted to say.

She blinked once when she noticed both the elites attention was turned to her, and another rocket in the class that had lingered. "Excuse me for the interruption Sir, Ma'am." she started off looking to each of the elite's in turn before settling her gaze on the instructor of the class, letting her hands move to her sides, left hand barely bumping against the pokeballs on her thigh.
"I enjoyed your lesson Ma'am, I found it to be very enlightening, but if I'm to be honest, I'm afraid that working with pokemon is still very foreign to me." The grunt closed her mouth, opened it again after clearing her throat before pushing on, having to smooth out her voice after the stiffness in the first couple of words she spoke next. "I'm satisfied with the progress I have made with my current team so far, but as for my skill level in training, I have concerns with how well I'll be able to maintain my training as they grow stronger, or as I get new additions. I have a lot of catching up to do..." Faleen stood there for another moment, her posture shifting as she rocker her weight from foot to foot a couple of times, and she cleared her thought once more. "I want to be as officiant as possible for the organization... any advice would be greatly appreciated, if you have any... Ma'am" she added the last word quickly, remembering her position.

Nyx stood up straight, since she was being 'addressed' by the elites. It was difficult asking for help, with all of her pride telling her to just leave, but Beaker was a handful. She waited for the grunt to finish before she spoke up. Looked like she wouldn't need to send an e-mail after-all.
"I believe I require assistance... with Beaker, Ma'am." The pokeball on her belt containing said pokemon shook slightly, but remained closed. Nyx kept her eyes on Miss Nadja. It was best not to look directly at Seth, since acknowledgement was the first step to head bitings, similar to how staring a dog in the eyes was considered a challenge.

"H'm," was the amused but distracted reply; the elite had slipped on the mantle of the instructor again and her attention was on the lower-ranked Rockets. Her expression was one of polite patience as she heard out the grunt's nervous, slightly rambling speech.
"I appreciate honesty," Nadja commented when the flood of words ebbed, a faint upward quirk to her lips, "as well as the earnest desire to improve. My intent is to allow a period of time to experiment with and internalize the content before moving forward." She studied Faleen and Nyx for a long moment, grey eyes mildly thoughtful, then shifted her weight to the other hip.
"I'm making a trip to the shore this Thursday for water training. If you feel observation or involvement would be useful, I wouldn't mind your presence."

Arms folded and standing there like a looming statue, Seth watched and listened. He noticed that Nyx was purposely avoiding his gaze and smirked slightly.
However, Nadja's invitation to the lower ranked Rockets drew a raised eyebrow.

Nyx smiled widely in a close-mouthed-grin. "That would be perfect, Ma'am, thank you." The tiny scientist looked excited about a trip to the beach with Nadja and who was the grunt? Faleen? That sounded right.
Water training fit along the lines of 'help me get my terrible turtle under control'. Hopefully Seth wouldn't be there to watch... She didn't trust her pokemon not to go on a short lived rampage at being called 'pathetic' or something along those lines.
Now Nyx looked ready to leave and get back to work.

Faleen smiled as well at this invite, and her shoulders seemed to relax a little. "That would be wonderful, Ma'am" It was a bonus that Faleen enjoyed the water, it would be an interesting setting. she felt a weight life off her shoulders, letting out a quiet breath before glancing over to the agent in the room, bowing her head respectfully to her. Faleen recalled her being a Grunt last time they had met, but it looks like she had been promoted since then.

Nadja didn't see Seth raise his eyebrow, but she could feel it. And she paid it absolutely no mind.
"Six o'clock at the garage, then," was the brisk reply. "And bring your swimsuits."
The redheaded elite waited, half-turned toward them - but half-turned to her previous conversation - either for the girls to ask another question or to remove themselves.

Nyx opted to remove herself. She had work to do between then and Thursday morning. Even though it meant training, she was somewhat excited for what that day would bring. If anyone could get Beaker to behave, it was probably Miss Nadja.
She gave a nod and left the gym.

her smile faded a little at the mention of a swimming suit... she... didn't have one of those, "I..." but after a couple of blinks, Faleen nodded as well, "yes Ma'am, Thank you Ma'am" She then turned to Seth. "Sir" she acknowledged him respectfully as she followed the Agent's lead, and dismissing herself.

Once the two had departed, Seth made a snort of disgust.
"You're getting too friendly with them." He said with clear disdain. Making friends with the lower ranking Rockets was not something that he practiced, and never intended to.

Nadja tilted her chin up to smile at Seth, wryly amused. "Would you like to go to the beach too?"

Seth shot her an indignant glare. "No." He stated quite plainly.
"That one with the white hair is getting attached to you." He could tell. He'd seen before how Nyx acted around Nadja. However it was said with a huff.
Him go to the beach with them. What a ridiculous notion. He was beyond associating with the commoners.

Another smile. "As you like." Her tone was light, as if accepting a polite refusal. "And yes; she is." Her tone and expression were well aware of this fact. "A little loyalty is useful."

"Loyalty. Is that what you call it." The distaste still quite evident in his voice.
Seth huffed, almost as if he was pouting. However, he pondered this for a moment or two. "Perhaps. The role of a dog does suit her well."
