Lena winced as the needle went into her arm. Immediatley she saw the shadows coming off her body, leaving the mask. "Nikolai," Lena muttered, feeling sleepy. A large crack appeared on the mask, making it's smile look like a frown. "Don't tell Hiro about this..." Lena said and looked at Nikolai in the eyes. Hiro would most likely have done something to Tikal if he knew about this. The mask broke apart, letting you see into her eyes.

Nikolai put his arms around her in case she passes out "it'll be our little secret" he smiled and looked into her eyes

Nikolai made sure her neck didnt bend back to far by holding it. "you'll be fine Lena. nothing will ever happen to you on my count, i promise you" he promised, waiting for her to wake up

Lena winced in her sleep, having a nightmare about what happened the past few days.

he brushed her hair out of her face and rubbed some healing cream on her wounds "your a tough little fighter" he smiled

Lena relaxed a little, but still had her nightmare. "I'm...a...monster." she mumbled in her sleep.

Lena winced and unknowingly grabbed on to Nikolai, tears came out of her eyes.

Nikolai smiled and brought up Lena, letting her rest her chin on his shoulder. "that's it, just let it out. its ok I'm here nothing will happen" he soothed, hugging her "your not a monster, your not horrible, you were just mad. now you deserve to just shed a few tears and let them out"

Lena's eyes fluttered open. She saw Nikolai hugging her. She quickly sat up with the tiniest of blushes on her face. "Good morning." she smiled. She felt something on her face and wiped it away. She looked at her arm. Tears. Was she crying in her sleep?

"Loads." Lena laughed and rubbed her eyes. "Were you here the whole time I was asleep?" she asked.

"yes. i never leave my friends in their time of need" he assured "plus, i soothed you while you had your nightmare, and i bandaged up your wounds" he smiled

Lena looked at the bandages on her. "Oh, thanks." she smiled. What Nikolai said about her having nightmares sank in. "Wait, I had nightmares?" Lena asked. "And you even had to soothe me?"
