Hrm. West had shown up at this class hoping for more tips on how to tame the crap factories that were Lord Jerkwater and Stench, his armassum pair, but instead he was confronted with... a maze?
Okay. West could handle a maze. He hooked his hands behind his back and stepped through the entrance, looking left and right for inevitable obstacles. What was a maze without obstacles, after all?
Several minutes passed before the demon noticed anything at all, and when he did notice something, it was a something of the auditory variety. Was that crying? He turned the next sharp right, following the sound, only to be confronted by a small, green man.
"heeeeeellllppp meeeeeeeeeeEEEEE," the imp wailed piteously, hugging its own foot to its chest.

The wrath demon dropped to a knee, grinning at the sobbing creature. "Yeah'll help withhat right now," he said, smirking. "I'kan take thafoot right off." He reached forward with both hands, aiming to grab the imp's foot and tug, but the little green beast screeched even louder than before and limped out of sight.
West shrugged. Losing his foot would surely have helped Mr. Impy forget all about the splinter, but if he didn't want West's help, it was his loss. He continued on, confidently striding through passages that echoed with the growls and barks of a boatload of unseen but probably angry critters.
Just as he was reaching the threshold of boredom, West came face to face with a very large rock. Had he turned the wrong way? He didn't think so. He stuck out an angry fist and pounded on the offending rock. "OPEN!"
Ever so slowly the boulder began to move. Its rocky bits coalesced into vague approximations of some arms, legs, and a face, and eventually it addressed the lad that had punched at it.
"STTTOOOORRRREEEEEE?"
A story? West could manage that too.

"... 'an tha's'how I learned the'rong way t'eatta pickle," West finished, glaring impatiently up at the rock monster. He waited, fully expecting to earn a broken arm for his trouble, but instead the boulderman scooted over to one side, presenting him with a cramped crack to squeeze through.
"THANK YOU FOR THE INFORMATION," the monster boomed as West slipped past.
As soon as he made it through, the growling, snarling and barking increased in volume, becoming the only thing the demon could hear. Up ahead, he saw a brief flash of something red, white and fast. This was sure to be interesting, at the very least.

As soon as West had noticed the creature it fell silent, obviously amassing all of its questionable stealth in an attempt to catch and maim whoever had dared disturb it.
Stealth, schmealth.
"'EY CHUBBY!" West shouted, taking off down one of the leafy paths in the hope that whatever that thing was would give chase.

West let out a manic giggle as the monster took his bait. Random sprinting with the possibility of grievous injury? Fun! At least no one was around to hear his unmanly laughter as he pinwheeled his legs as fast as they would go, not bothering to turn his head and peek as the creature galloped after him. It was closing in fast and West wasn't angry enough to muster enough adrenaline to keep up all this running for much longer.
He spotted a strange bucket filled with purpleness in the distance and he made a break for it, grabbing one of the little balls as he jetted past. From somewhere behind him West heard a tangled mess of angry growls and whinnies, but he was long gone, clutching his prize in a slightly sweaty fist.
He'd have to try that again sometime.

Alcyone walked up to the maze and stared up at the tall walls. This school sure had strange classes... But Professor Byrn was testing their abilities and Alcie didn't want to fail! The maze seemed intimidating and hopefully she didn't get lost but it sounded like a lot of fun. Though, she was sure that there could potentially be nasty things lurking in there... The water demon loved the challenge and didn't hesitate as she stepped into the maze.

Immediately, Alcie saw a small imp limping around and it was calling for her to help. There was a part of her that was immediately skeptical but she couldn't just leave him... "What happened?" Frowning, she leaned over to take a look at the bottom of his foot. "Oh, here's the problem." Looking up at him making sure that he wasn't going to attack her, she quickly pulled the splinter out. "There we go!" Smiling, Alcie watched the imp rush away and she continued her way through the maze.

Alcie kept going through the maze and everything started looking the same to her. Though, nothing had jumped out at her yet so Alcie was feeling pretty happy. She couldn't help but whistle as she walked through the maze though a part of her needed to make some noise to drown out some of the eerie sounds echoing throughout the maze.
She had spotted something large blocking the path in front of her but she decided to investigate it to see if there was a way that she could get around it. It was a large.. boulder and it talked? It wanted some kind of story or riddle... Sifting through her memories, Alcie told it the story about the time Nox had challenged the students to vandalize the front of this woman's house. And apparently it liked her story because the boulder moved aside to let her pass.
Smiling up at him, Alcie walked past the boulder and kept on her way.

Oh no... As Alcie walked past the boulder she heard something growling behind her. The noise seemed to be coming from the pathway next to her and whatever it was seemed to be clawing away at the hedge trying to get at her. Oh dear jack. The water demon turned around and ran back the way she came knowing that she needed to get a head start before this thing got onto her pathway.

A maze... In a classroom?
Lizzy hesitated, looking at the entrance with a worried expression as she watched the other students go on ahead; part of her was worried that it might be like Breck's shed - and judging from the number of students fleeing from the maze, part of her worried that it might be worse. Then again, this was for her class and she ought to at least try, right?

Entering the maze, she saw an imp at the entrance - it was whining and looked to be in pain. Upon closer inspection, she realized that there was a small splinter stuck in its foot. Cautiously, she approached the creature, squatting down beside it. She smiled, trying to show that she was only trying to help. Reaching out, she held onto the splinter before counting to three softly and then pulling it out, wincing as she thought about the pain the imp might be going through.
The imp seemed begrudgingly grateful as it limped (heh, limped) away and went to a corner of the maze, vanishing in the shadows. Standing up, Lizzy tossed the splinter to a side before continuing, determined to see to the end of this 'class'.

It wasn't long, however, before she reached a dead end - there was a boulder in the way. Just as she was about to turn around and head back, the 'boulder' moved and spoke about telling it a story or riddle.
"Well, there was this one time-" Lizzy begun, telling the boulder about a scene in one of the steamy romance novels where the hero returned after being presumed lost and embraced the heroine in his manly arms. Then, she paused, looking hopefully at the boulder
The tale of romance did it! Everyone likes a good romance, she figured proudly. As the boulder moved to let her pass, Lizzy moved into the next part of the maze, patting the boulder gently; maybe she could bring some books along the next time she visits.

While the 'walk' had been rather easy up to this point in time, this particular part seemed rather dangerous for some odd reason. As she walked further in, the Demoness figured out why - there was something here with her. Something that was too close for comfort.
Nervously, she stopped, trying to determine the source of her discomfort as she twirled a lock of hair around her finger; then, she spotted it - red eyes staring at her through the foliage. She saw it move towards her, and like a spider being chased by a brush, she fled, running aimlessly; she would rather fail this class than end up in Nurse Cricket's office!

She could hear them coming closer and closer - this experience was oddly familiar... While tempted to turn around for a look, Lizzy decided that her life was more important. She ran until she could no longer hear anything chasing her. She slowed to a stop, panting - sticking her hair behind her ears before taking deep breaths. Then, in front of her, she saw the end of the maze - a bucket with the skull of a horse and a cloth?
Ignoring the weird decoration, she walked towards the bucket, hand stretched out towards one of the purple Scareon balls. However, when she was just within reach of the hard earned prize, she felt something breathing down her neck and promptly freeze. As if in slow motion, Lizzy turned around, coming face to face with the skull of an angry ghost horse.
"Uh, h-hi?" She squeaked before running away, the prize just within reach. However, she would be back - and she won't make the same careless mistake again!

Lucien couldn't help but wonder about the poor injured creature who had chased him out of the maze the last time he was in class. Was it still hurt? Did someone help it something after the imp had chased him out of the maze and while he was gone or was it laying in the maze crying in pain? He was at a cross between how he wanted to feel. Did he want to be upset with the crazy thing that chased him out of the maze or concerned? Determined to get through the maze, Lucien would find out as he slowly began his journey into the maze.
"Oh imp?" He asked, as he walked through, looking down this time to see if there was anything down there.
