"yeah, yeah i'm fine" she said quietly staring at the ground and walking quickly toward the stage. Her shyness was getting the best of her. climbing the stairs on the right she stepped onto the stage and looked out into the seating area.
This theatre is magnificient she thought I know where I'm going to be most of my High school career.
She quickly put her head back down letting her brown hair cover her face and started walking back stage.

Walking back stage she looked around. The pull cords for the curtains, the sets, the different musical instruments...it was all so AMAZING. Her old school was NOTHING like this.
Since she assumed she was alone back stage, she set her books down, put her hair up into a ponytail, and sat down at the grand piano.
Playing the piano always calmed her down, and she released all the tension in her body. Sometimes she'd get so wrapped up in her music that she'd forget everything else around her.
This time she happened to be playing "Tiny Dancer" by Elton John and singing along with it. Not realizing that there were also microphones backstage and one of them was on. She didn't realize she was on the loud speaker for the theatre.

When the song was over, she sat back and sighed. She had loved that song as a child, and she still loves it. Turning the page on her Music sheet she played "Rocket Man" by Elton John
Still not knowing that she was on the loudspeaker in the theatre.
She was right where she wanted to be. It was relaxing and she didn't have to worry about being embaressed. (or so she thought)
Singing along with the song once again, her soprano voice rung out loud and proud throughout the whole theatre.

Man I'm glad my mom taught me how to play piano she thought even when I didn't want to learn. Its so relaxing.

"Oh my God!" she said out loud without meaning to.
Instantly she was embaressed. Pulling the ponytail out of her hair so her hair would fall in her face, she picked up her books.
"I...I'm sorry if I disturbed you. I'll leave"

Jewel put a hand on the girls shoulders "no i loved it it reminded me of when my great aunt would play the piano when i ame home from school upset" jewel said smiling
