"I can not say I would know much of the past thirty years, I am not old enough to have seen it." Kadra kept to herself about what she had learned. Her father was vary strict on her learning. But she had trusted friends among the workers in the palace. Some old and wise enough to tell her stories of kings past. ~ ~ ~ ~
Xeema smiled and did her best not to laugh at the joke. Though it was rather funny."Lord Paha is known for his parties for every one." Xeema took her seat just as Lord Paha entered the room dressed in what she guessed some of his very best clothes. Xeema bowed her head when he glanced her way.
Paha smiled brightly at the people at his table. "My friends, please feel free to eat what ever I have to offer." Paha extend his hand to a door that Telmina opened. About ten servants entered hands laden with food of drink. Paha took his seat as the servants came around to place food on the table. Paha looked up to Eversor. "I think it would be best if you took on your human form. I don't think there would be enough food to qwell your hunger when you are that big, my friend."

"Still, with your father as king," Attorra spoke the sentence with a bit of distaste, "One would think you would have been informed of all of the royal affairs."
---
"So this is who you wanted us to meet, right Eversor?" Afsana nodded toward the lord, "So then, I take it he can help us find Kurag's daughter, right? She looked at the man directly, "Right?"
Uru attepted to quiet her, "Of course, Woman. Why else would we be here? Now don't be rude."

Kadra caught the way he said king. She had to wonder what the guy had done to get tossed out of the kingdom. She was suddenly aware she could be getting lured into a trap. "No, my father kept me from learning too much, if it didn't have to do with his rule it wasn't worth learning is what he always told me." Kadra looked down to the child who was sucking on her fingers. "My father said he would pick me out a husband who would make a good king, so I would only have to focus on making babies." Now it was her turn to sound a little distaste. ~ ~ ~ ~
Paha laughed and picked up a slab of meat and dropped it onto his plate. "Well yes. I would like to ask your help to find her. You see I don't like this war any more then I assume my people do. After all it's really over some little girl who ran away from her daddy." Paha cut into his food and took a large bite.
Xeema nodded "My lord, have you ever meet with the king. I could understand why she wanted away. He is rather unlikeable." Xeema picked a few of her favorite foods and piled them onto her plate after Lord Paha.

"It's natural for a girl to be at ends with her father over an arranged marriage." Attorra sighed, "I was almost married once, but that was a long time ago."
---
"Well," Uru began, "Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it's over a Usurper who wants to keep his family and it's legacy on the throne. Not that anyone knows the truth about that."
Afsana leaned back in her chair, "The great seer monk knows all though, doesn't he?"
Uru's face twisted into a small scowl, "Not a seer."
"Yeah, yeah." Afsana rolled her eyes, "And I'm the mighty Kimada of Pto."

Eversor, The Black Fire Dragon
Eversor growled at Asfana's joke. The nerve of some mortals. "Yes, this is whom I wanted you to meet, but it was more that he wanted to meet you.", he said flatly to the bounty huntress before turning to the others and nodding at Xeema's comment about Tyrant-Kurag's unlikeable-ness. Eversor nodded to Paha and his dragon form was swept away with a burst of Dark Fire. The human Eversor took a seat at the large table and started loading his plate with various meats. Usurper. He hadn't heard that word before. "Forgive me for my ignorance Monk-Uru, but if you can see things miles away through a vision, doesn't that make you a Seer?"

"Well then," Afsana glanced over toward the lord again, "Why would he want to meet us?"
Uru's unhappy look turned from Afsana to Eversor, "You win find, dear Eversor, that the gods can use anyone as their vessel, but they cannot choose someone who is not open to them."

Kadra sighed. "I personaly think my father is unfit to rule. Lord Paha is loved by all of his people. I have heard nothing but good things about him from his people." Kadra shook her head and looked off to stare at the spot she could barely see her home land. "My father is hated by most of his people. He hides things and manipulates all around him. That is not the makings of a true king and I for one, do not intend to marry any man he picks for they will be no better then himself." Kadra said holding her head up high in defiance. ~ ~ ~ ~
Telmina finally took her own seat. Her seat was by the lord. She had had that seat for many years. She didn't intend to give it up to the visitors. "Dear Monk. You maybe the vessel, but you are the seer as well." She said her voice soft. Telmina began to put a few things on her own plate.
Xeema looked over to the she-dragon. She had a point. "I am sorry Uru but you are a seer like it or not. If I were you I would accept and embrace it." Xeema took a bite of some vegetable. "It's a gift from the gods after all."
Paha lounged back in his seat. "Seers or not, as you all are well aware of, the princess is still missing. She is here on my island. She was last seen the first you will come across if you go east from here. But she slipped away." Paha filled him mouth again with some slab of meat.

"So," Attorra began, "So you would much rather run away and intensify a war? Then stay away, and keep the war going on?"
---
Afsana ignored Uru's trouble, and narrowed her eyes ever so slightly toward Paha, "And you don't know where she is. That's what you're telling us?"
Uru finally just heaved a sigh, "Believe what you like."

Eversor, The Black Fire Dragon
Eversor shot a deathly glare at Afsana and flashed his dragon's teeth. "Of coarse my Lord doesn't know where she is, huntress. If he did, he would have had the nearest Karmaenian to the woman take her back to her Tyrant-Father and end this pointless war. He is honorable as such, unlike the fool of a king on the mainland. Which reminds me,", Eversor shifted his gaze to Uru. "You said you knew something that would overthrow Usurper-Kurag, no?", the drakonian asked the monk before looking toward his plate of many meats. Eversor took up his eating tools that were presented to him and cut his meat into rather large pieces. After his food was all cut, he started eating it as any human would.

Kadra looked to Attorra. "You don't know my father. He would keep the war going even if I did return home. He would lock me back in my room, tell the people I was still missing. He wanted this war. He had plans for it when I left." Kadra glanced down at the small child making noises by her side.
"Up." Naudian said her thumb still in her mouth. The child was clearly tired of walking.
Kadra sighed and picked her up. "I over heard my father's plans, that's why I left. And I plan to go to Lord Paha, and personally ask him to stop my father and his deranged rule over the land."" ~ ~ ~ ~
Telmina looked up at the out raged dragon. She could feel his anger. And her own anger flooded her body. Shuddering it off Telmina focused on eating her food and not the people around her.
Paha sighed "If I knew where the lost child was I would have dragged her run-away-butt back to her loving father already." Paha took another bite of meat and swallowed it down hardly chewing "I hate war as much as my people do."

"And you thought that would help?" Attora held his arms behind his back as he walked forward, "Giving him an excuse to wage a war?"
---
Afsana ignored Eversor, it wasn't the first time she had pissed someone off, and it certainly wasn't going to be the last. She continued with Paha, "But you know, as well as the rest of us, that it wouldn't stop the war, would it?"
"It was a man's final confession I heard before reading him his last rights, Eversor," Uru began sharply, "It is not something to share with the world."

Eversor, The Black Fire Dragon
"Very well.", Eversor said plainly after he was done chewing a mouthful of meat. "As for ending this war, it shouldn't be a problem. Tyrant-Kurag picked a war with the wrong island. I could burn his palace to the ground anyday and kill the man any way I wanted. A less bloody method: I and other Karmaenians could cut of key suppy routes and starve Kurag's people until they demand that he end the war or until he gives in himself. There isn't much you can do to a dragon when not a single weapon in the fool-king's arsenal can get passed my scales, let alone stop or kill me.", the dragon said simply before continuing to eat the meat on his plate. When Eversor finished chewing his mouthful of meat and swallowed it, he spoke again. "Give me the order, Lord Paha, and I ,with others, will have this war over before dusk."

Kadra sighed and bounced the child on her hip. "He was going to kill the queen and put out a word the Paha had called an assassin to do it because my mother wouldn't," She paused "Oh for get it, I didn't hear all of what he said. But I ran, and my mom has not been killed to start a war." Kadra looked down at the child as her eyes drifted close for a nap. "I feel bad. But I love my mom. I wouldn't stand to see her killed knowing my father had done it to star a pointless war." ~ ~ ~ ~
Paha shook his head. "No, no Eversor, we will not kill innocent people just to rid our selves of Kurag." He lifted another fork full to his mouth. "I am no fool, even if the girl is found, it wont stop this war, she was just an excuse for it. But if we, an I do do meant to take her back with you, his people will see she is of to no harm, and will wish the war stopped. Kurag will have no help from his people."
Xeema nodded her head. It was a feeble plan. As long as they could find the damned girl. "But what if some one finds her before we do?" Xeema voiced.

Nexus, Angel of Death
A man cloaked in black stood at the front of a large gate that stood in front of a small stronghold. It looked pretty burnt up at the walls, but he could see people repairing various damages. The man knocked on the gate with the bottom of his staff, then stood as he awaited a response. "Mortals and their wars. Such amusing creatures.", he said to himself as he continued to wait patiently for someone to answer his knocking. "As you wish, Lord Paha.", Eversor said before setting his eating tools down. His plate was bare of any food and he leaned back in his chair, picking food out of his teeth. He listened to Xeema's question and watched Paha, awaiting a response.

Attorra grunted and finished leading the way to his house, he unlocked the door and held it open for the girls to step in first, before he followed and locked it behind them, "I have a question, child. If Kurag is such a bad man, why didn't you just, kill him yourself?"
---
Afsana shrugged, "Well, I for one have to wonder if anyone else has heard that seers often have the ability of Extrasensory perception, correct?"
Uru gave her a sideways glance and remarked, "Well then I suppose your should find yourself a seer."
