Ok, so I added in the RP sample. Its really shitty cuz I'm kinda tired and did it in like 2 minutes. Normally I go super in depth with fights against NPC's but I didn't feel like it if its only a RP sample. O:

1. Its not ACTUALLY alive. It just seems to be. Its vibrations caused by the sealing runes on the hilt and the immense chakra holding it together.

2. Ok, I'll make a system for it later, although it wont be very much chakra use, and making it smaller actually gives chakra back that you have already put into the blade. Really, any chakra you use on the blade is given back once you take it back out because it holds the chakra. Ok, I'll change the weight thing so that the user simply cant tell the change in weight. O:

3. It made sense for the weapon and its a universal sort of thing so anyone with that element has an advantage. What would you suggest?

And using water chakra is a bit more convenient than blood because blood is very very limited, whereas water chakra is much less limited.

I thought it was a pretty unique idea. Do you have a better one? I'm always open for suggestions.

Its water chakra, so like a water jutsu would change it.

@Duck: Why? Its storing the chakra, and all I would have to do is draw that chakra back out, since it is my own chakra, just being held in the sword. :/

OH! No, I meant like water chakra, meaning that someone without suiton as an element wouldn't be able to access its abilities. So you would need suiton as an element and you just pump chakra into it of the suiton element. O:

Ok, how about the chakra within will diminish over time so you cant do stuff like that? It only lasts in battle. O:
So if you saved your entire chakra supply within it, when you go to battle it will be back to empty, ok?

Name of weapon: Poseidon’s Fingernail
Who owns the weapon: Vercingetorix “Orca” Saishuu
Where it was found/Who made it: The blade was created through old lost jutsu that have become extinct. The hilt is made from a complex set of sealing jutsu’s that can be unleashed to give the blade extra powers that haven’t been uncovered yet, and the blade is made from the strongest sea creatures tooth.
The Range of the weapon: 50 feet for the senbon
35 feet for the sword itself and 12 feet for the sword to have perfect efficiency as a sword.
Weakness: Katon can dry out the blade making it become completely solid and making it blacken and become dull. Doton can clog the pores on the blade and weigh it down and stopping senbon from coming out. Chakra stored in it dissipates over time. [After a battle all the chakra put into it during battle is gone and when a battle starts it starts on empty to prevent bypassing the chakra stat.]
Description: Poseidon’s Fingernail is one of the legendary blades made in ancient times by unknown means. The blade has extremely small pores on it that allow it to hold water and water chakra inside of the blade. Through the pores water senbon can be shot out at great speeds. The pores on the blade create a cheese grater effect when the sides hit an opponent. The blades weight changes as the size does, however due to the seals on the hilt the user never feels it getting heavier so it always feels almost weightless, but its really getting heavier and heavier. Even if it’s shriveled by katon jutsu it can be brought back to life by being hit with a suiton jutsu of equal power. The more water that the blade absorbs the bigger it will get but the weight stays the same. The amount of water chakra within the blade determines its size. The less chakra the smaller the size, the more chakra the bigger it gets. The user can manipulate the water within the blade to change its shape, meaning that the user could make it extremely long and thin as a wire, or extremely short and so wide it goes off to the sides. The shape can also be changed, meaning that it can have spikes or studs popping out if it is manipulated to do so. You can take out the chakra you have put into the blade as long as you haven't used it for the senbon.

Maximum size: 30 chakra points
Minimum: 0 [Obviously sinze your taking all the chakra out]
Senbon: Handful of senbon: 10 chakra
Massive shower of senbon: 30 [Also depletes all chakra from the blade.]
Rp Sample:
Orca had seen the wounded traveler at a distance but he had never been one to trust easily. He had, from the moment he saw him, suspected that something was up. As Orca neared the man, the man jumped at him and multiple assassins emerged from the nearby bushes. Immediately the one who had been playing the hurt traveler shot off a jutsu made of fire that hit Orcas sword directly. These assassins had done their homework it seems. Orca’s sword was extremely susceptible to fire jutsu. Orca let loose a feral grin and placed his palm on the side of the black and shriveled blade. His hands began to glow a soft cyan blue as he filled the sword with water chakra. Immediately the blade reformed to its former size. Orca grinned wider and wider as his sword got bigger and bigger. The assassins all charged at once to catch him off guard while he repaired his sword but it was too late. Orca swing the now much wider and longer sword in a wide arc, neatly cutting at least half of the would-be assassins in half. Orca turned to the other group of assassins attacking him and with a flurry of motion from his open palm he knocked them all down. As he fell one of the assassins shot a bolt of lightning at the blade, hoping to shock Orca. Orca’s macabre features shone through as the blade became electrically charged. He swung the blade and little sparks left the blade in the arc it followed. Orca hadn’t aimed at them. It was only to show the effects. The other living assassin tried to encase Orca in a rock but there was no use. Clumps of dirt clogged the pores of the sword and made it much heavier but it wasn’t anything Orca couldn’t handle. He quickly placed his palm on the blade and watched as it thinned and got longer and longer until the blade was thin as a wire and seven feet long. Orca grinned a deadly grin as he swung the blade, decapitating the men in front of him and with a fleur of his sword he cut the last assassin, hiding in a nearby tree, waiting to cast a genjutsu on him, cleanly in half.
