Amaidi chuckled a bit. "well I always seem to have the good luck in that I can pretty much always find some sort of shelter. I have a really good nose so I can always tell when it is going to rain.... ah um... well. I would hate to put you on the floor so I suppose we can share" Amaidi muttered blushing probably as bright a mercury. She trusted him not to do anything.

Amaidi giggled a bit and used her paw to lightly bump Mercury on the nose. "Of course I am not going to hold it against you if you move in yourself. You cant really control that. however now that I think about it, here's to hoping none of us really move around and kick too much"

"I don't think I kick, but Runaiu, my momma, she says I mutter a lot." Mercury's voice turned a tad wistful. He missed his adoptive mother a lot sometimes.

" Well muttering doesn't sound all that bad, I think I can sleep through that." Amaidi pointed out. She let out a little laugh having caught the mommy part. It was kind of cute and showed that he did have at least some part of family. She would definitely have to introduce him to her rather huge one some time. As what Amaidi didnt quite know yet. Right now though some sleep sounded pretty good. It would help her wake up really early in the morning to rescue the various alive sand dollars she often found.

Mercury looked at the sleeping spot, then at Amaidi. "After you." He moved back a bit to give her room. It would have been churlish to steal any spot she might have claimed from prior use.

Amaidi wasnt too picky about where she slept but was mindful that she would have another person next to her. Finding her own spot and leaving plenty of room she curled up nestling down and looking up at the fox wondering just what tomorrow was going to bring.

Mercury eyed the space, then crawled up next to Amaidi. He turned a few times, looking for the best spot to lay down that was a proper distance away. After two rotations he flopped down, curling his body and wrapping his tail around himself. He sighed through his nose, sneezing as tail hairs tickled and closed his eyes.
