I used to think I was crazy cuz' whenever I listened to "Hannibal Dress Rehearsal" I would hear "the trumpeting elephant song!" and thought it was totally messed up. Then I saw the movie (( totally awesome and worth the wait)) and I realized it was what they said!! I had to laugh at myself about that!

*laughs* Yes, I remember some of those. The first time I heard it I was like WTF?! But then I looked at the script and realized that was not what they were saying, thank goodness. I always new it was masquerade, but when Raoul was singing in the middle of the aria Christine was singing in Hannibal, Think of Me, I thought he said b*tch too.

I had at one point while singing Phantom had said the words "Sleep once again with me..." Instead of "Sing once again with me..." So... Now that I think about it it compleetely changes the entire meaning of that song for me now as I grin in a corner because I swear its true xd Just think about it one word... xp

This isn't really funny, but on the movie soundtrack Gerry!Phantom sounds like he's singing "Sing once again with me, our SWEET duet" instead of "Strange". So now whenever I sing along with that soundtrack, I sing 'sweet'. sweatdrop
Oh, and during Notes on the movie soundtrack, you know where Andre and Firmin are singing "Who would have the gall to send this?" Well, I thought for a long time that they said next, "Someone with a purer brain" instead of "puerile."

This isn't so much misheard as misread. I was playing 'Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again' on the piano, and I was playing the part when Christine sings, ' dreaming of you won't help me to do.' The page was partly folded over so I was leaning over to try and read the note. As I'm playing, I sing along in my head and I think, 'sleeping with you won't help me to do.' I stopped playing and I'm just like, 'wait, that's totally wrong! She's singing about her father!' lol, it was pretty funny.

Wow, hooray for misheard preverted lyrics!
I was listening to the soundtrack once, and I was half asleep. I could have sworn I head "Keep you hand at the level of your thighs". I knew that wasn't what they said, though, so I just got really confused. Then, later, I actually thought about it, and could NOT stop laughing for anything.
Also, I snicker everytime I hear "In sleep he sang to me/in dreams he came/that voice which calls to me/and speaks me name." Partly because I'm just inhaerently perverted, and partly because I've once seen somewhere
"In sleep he sang to me In pants he came"
I laughed.

I got this one last night in my half sleeping state:
From Notes I:
Real words: "I am anxious her career should progress." What I hear: "I am anxious her rear should progress."

This isn't from PotO, but... when I was listening to my Wicked soundtrack... During "Dear Old Shiz"....
What they SAID: Oh hallowed halls and vine-draped walls...! What I HEAR: Oh hollowed halls and mind-raped walls!
I burst into hysterical laughter at the lunch table and everyone just... turned and stared at me like I'd lost my mind. XDDD

*reads through them all, laughing untill she cries*
Oh, awesome, no one found mine. This one IS dirty, HOWEVER, it's not a mis-hearing, this lyric is pure POTO perviness ^_^
The Point of No Return:
What raging fire shall flood the soul? What rich desire unlocks its door? What sweet seduction lies before us . . .?
That's the first one, but not the worst one. That's just, you know creeping towards the pervaciousness... << >>... then later...
In my mind, I've already imagined our bodies entwining
we're getting closer!
our passion-play has now, at last, begun . . .
porno? o_O
Past all thought of right or wrong - one final question: how long should we two wait, before we're one . . .? When will the blood begin to race the sleeping bud burst into bloom? When will the flames, at last, consume us . . .?
WHAT THE HELL!? THIS IS A PG-13 MOVIE, YOU CAN'T SAY STUFF LIKE THAT! *hushes Emmy*
Those are the real lyrics ^_^ Not my pervy madness.

Here are two I am always hearing.
First, when they are singing down once more...
Raoul: " Free her! Do what you like only free her!"
Erik: "your lover makes a passionate plea."
Christine: "Please Raoul it's useless." Me: "It's Raoul he's useless."
Another one..."and he'll be there singing songs in my bed."
