Preparing for the next departure, the pirates of Tortuga made fast to stock their ships with rope, rum, and other provisions. Unwisely charged with loading the rum, Weasel-chan sneaked off to find extra crates. An English flag waving above the doors, he entered a storehouse farther up the coast, upon which Norrington caught him pillaging and promptly arrested him, sentencing Pintel to the gallows for piracy against the East India Trading Mafia.
On a dinghy headed toward the main ship, Tonberry Crunch hesitated over the sea churning violently underneath her. She made to signal to the rest of the crew, but in splash, tentacles shot up and surrounded her. Screaming, she was dragged to the deep into the ocean with the Kraken. In mute shock, everyone mourned the loss of their Pirate King, Elizabeth Swann.

sweatdrop Ah, yes, that, well... Um, I don't know everyone yet, especially this game with people I haven't met since I'm still kinda new... And since it's not smart to assume, especially on gaia, I thought it would be fair to write the results with pronouns related to the character death. Is that alright with everyone?
But I love making new friends, so if you friend me with some info about yourself, like gender, that would be cool. biggrin

Well Barbossa didn't act, so shall we take a look at inactives?
This night (I'm counting everyone past 10 PM), there was mainly Cero Owwin and I active. Throughout the day all but two people didn't post, Dixie and Bari. We hadn't seen much of LPS, Tota, and Haru as the day went on as well. I doubt that a role such as Barbossa would be given to two new people who haven't been in a mafia before. Besides that I really don't have anything else. We know that Davy Jones acted, and so did Cutler Beckett. I don't see why Davy would kill such a novice player as Ton though.
Also, couldn't Barbossa have acted tonight? Gibbs is a role blocker, and Turner could have protected the targeted person. Either he didn't act, or a role block/doctor could have been lucky

Weird. I just looked back and noticed that Ton and Weasel were the first, and I think only, ones to vote no lynch. Why would the Mafia target them?
@Kath: I'm under the impression that roles are handed out randomly, so I wouldn't rule out the possibility so quickly.

Nowadays I kinda just assume I'll be metagame killed early on, so I don't pay much attention to the first day to avoid disappointing myself. I'll read back over since it looks like they're gonna keep me around a while.

oh no two townies in one night, what the hell. im wondering why also the mafia would target the first two to vote a no lynch? this is why i hate the first day, we decided to a no lynch and we lose townies but then if we do decide to vote someone it could hurt us in the end because they have a possibility of being a townie still. Heading off to work, but ill have to re read through everything.
sorry guys to, i was so tired because i get up at 4 that by 10pm im so tired cry

Just so you know, even though it isn't at all important, Elizabeth wasn't just a Pirate Lord, she was Pirate King. Barbossa and Jack are simple Pirate Lords.

And as a general note, Norrington caught Weasel-chan as part of my story. The actual mafian may have had some say, but it was still Cutler Beckett who sent in the kill, in case anyone reads too far into it.
