Agreed. I mean for Space Wolves you can picture them fighting through a snow field charging head long into the enemy. I have to say though, a host of Eldar Titans look cooler than Imperial Walkers

That is probably the main reason for the campaign taking place on a Maiden World made up of snow.

More than likely.
On a battlefield of snow, blizzards surrounding the scene. In the trenches the soldiers of the Cadian and Elysians Imperial Guard fighting alongside the Astartes of the Space Wolves. Roars of thunder sounds in the sky and the snow, and in the distant; the regimental commanders look through magnoculars to see the feint outlines of Revenant Titans. Sonic lances and pulsars flash in the distance and fall short of the trench lines. The Imperials duck for cover, before the shouts of commands go through the vox links to attack to assaulting Xenos scum.

I do hope that the Elysians stick with their airborne roots and finally do something effective. Their current streak is three losses that have all resulted in the complete annihilation of the regiments involved.

To continue on from the release thread: Up until April the GW releases have been unveiled (Skaven reinforcements, Blood Angels reinforcements, new Orcs & Goblins army book, new Grey Knights codex).
Indication so far is that this year will be another 40k heavy year, with less emphasis on Fantasy and even less on the Lord of the Rings systems. For fantasy there is a lot of talk of either, or both, the Tomb Kings and Ogre Kingdoms getting a new army book this year, along with the required slew of new plastic kits and characters, old and new. LotR-wise we can expect GW to prepare for the Hobbit, which is still some time off, but should be their new cash cow for a bit once the movie is done and hits the theatres.
On the 40k front, beyond Grey Knights the biggest confirmations gotten so far are that this Summer there will be another expansion, one dealing with flyers in regular games of 40k, accompanied by a slew of plastic kits for most factions (Thunderbolt for the Imperium, Raven for the Dark Eldar, Fighta for the Orks, Hell Blade / Hell Talon for Chaos, Barracuda for the Tau and the Nightwing for the Eldar, mind you, grain of salt!). There is also chatter of the Necrons getting a revision some time this year, followed by the Tau Empire or another Space Marine Chapter (either Black Templars or Dark Angels).

Dont forget Anphelion and the demise of D-99, as well as the 23rd Elysian Drop Troops during the Taros Campaign Yes, I was referring to both Anphelion, Taros and also Kastorel Novem, all big losses for Elysian forces as in all cases the regiments ceased to exist. IA 8 lists five Elysian regiments as examples. Four of which have been annihilated during fighting.

One of the more reliable members of Dakka Dakka mentioned that his friend has a tour of the GW facilities and was "accidentally" taken to a wrong place, where they had all the upcoming Summer flyers lined up. From what he can reveal, almost all races are getting a model.
Imperial Guard (Navy): Thunderbolt Space Marines: ??? Eldar: Nightwing Dark Eldar: Raven Orks: Fighta Chaos: Hell Talon Tau Empire: Barracuda Necrons: ??? Tyranids: Harridan?
He also saw the Sister prototypes, which left him gobsmacked.

With the Space Marines, I think it would be a Land Speeder Tempest. Other than the Thunderhawk and the Stormraven, the Astartes dont have any other flying units.

The Tempest isn't a true flyer, but rather a fast, upgunned skimmer. The Caestus is still too new a kit to be turned into a plastic kit, besides reception of it thus far has been less than favourable.
It could well be so that both Imperial Guard and Astartes will be covered by Imperial Navy Thunderbolts.
Main reasoning behind the current list is that the kits should still be affordable and be in a reasonable price bracket, maximal pricing being the same as the Land Raider and Valkyrie.

There could also be the Marauder and the Lightning being released for the Imperials. Although I doubt the Lightning would be available for the Astartes, maybe Sisters of Battle and the Imperial Guard.

The Marauder is a super-heavy, thus Apocalypse only and the Lightning is nowhere as ancient and iconic as the Thunderbolt.
