Joey tried not to look at Martufe sneaking a few glances at him trying not to get caught. Joey nodded at Martufe's words "well anyone coming into this shop is a patron. We hardly get any business but don't tell Iah I said that." He giggled slightly with a cough following it he stole another glance at Martufe making sure not to lock eyes.

He was arranging books that didn't need to be arranged just to stay by Martufe. Joey turned even redder than before he turned quickly feeling dizzy as and fell to his knees. Joey picked up the nearest book which was a heavy hard back book that had some gold lining. He swung it at Martufe wildly "you can't say that after you rejected me!!" Joey was trying to hide his red face from Martufe if he could move he would have ran.

Joey just stayed behind the book he picked up his heart was already beating wildly and this wasn't helping at all. He had no one to blame but himself if his former self could see him he would be ashamed. To be a coward and hide what he was truly feeling and use such underhanded tactics. Joey just lowered the book thinking on Martufe's word. He doesn't know how to reject some one.

"Martufe...." lowered the book looking down he coughed covering his mouth with his shirt. Taking a deep breathe he gave Martufe a side glance "Martufe you... Martufe you should leave." He paused for a while holding the book in his lap "I am not the type of person you should be around. You need to find somebody more suitable for you.... I will only bring you trouble." He picked up the book slowly getting up coughing keeping his face hidden.
