Per ran a quick systems check to make sure everything above his feet was in perfect order. He quickly found that, yes, everything was in perfect order. Shortly after he had finished this check, he realized that Elliot had asked him how he got here. He quickly replied by saying "I got in via the D Sector's east wing. Sir cut through the door, as it was closed."

Zazzy was about to attempt to slice through the slat when he heard Elliot's muffled voice. s**t! She doesn't know about Per! And I can't get her to move so I can cut through the slat! And Per's neurosensors in his legs have been cut by the slat. he thought in anger. He stood for a few seconds pondering what he could do when an idea came to him. He quickly slammed the hilt of Hon'no into the slat in a rhythmic fashion similar to Morse code in attempt to tell Elliot to back up. He would do this repeatedly until Elliot replied back in the same fashion. All she had to do was knock with her fist or a piece of debris.

("She doesn't know about Per!" meaning she doesn't know that Per belongs to Zazzy.)

((Mitsuki, it would be interesting if your character and some of Giyari's fellow droids were in the same area as well. Anyway, this is just going to be a post to get to people.))

Everything seemed to be perfectly under control. Ellie was handling a Zaztastic droid named Per. Someone was banging on the wall. Ceilings were only so randomly toppling down and crashing to mimic the effects of earthquakes. Everything was perfectly fine.

Armand looked at Antoinette and answered her question on "what the hell happened" with a smile. "Well, Aubia would probably say snaffu, but we're all jolly here." He shrugged. Seeing how everyone was either busy or standing around, he started off to another section of the Admin compound with a nonchalant wave. "Ta ta!"

He wandered into a corridor some distance away to hear an awfully loud sound of metal bending from the end of it. There goes another door. He walked toward the noise only to see Jack and a whole troupe of robots behind him. Armand was so used to robots and random sights and chaos that it didn't surprise him at all. So, he waved. He was somewhat acquainted, and depending on who was viewing that statement, it could be completely an understatement. "Hi, Jack Mack. Joining the party, eh?"

((Haha. Wow. I'm behind. I haven't posted in two days. Sorry. Time to catch up.))

Angelina was about to agree when she remembered all the pranks that Armand pulled that she had heard about from friends of hers. Her eyes narrowed. Then, she took a breath and shook her head. She wasn't the best under pressure. He took off and she walked off. Then she remembered something and groaned. She had no idea how to get around the building. She tossed her shoes to the side and broke into a run. She saw a woman carrying tools and she asked for them. The woman gave them to her and ran. Angelina started running again. She heard something falling above her and jumped out of the way. Part of the celing fell and she stood and ran a different way. She ended where she started and sighed. She hated this building at the moment. She looked to see Per and Elliot. 'How the hell did he get in here!?' she thought quickly. She ran and stopped by Elliot's side. "Per! What are you doing here??" she said. "How in hell did you get in!?" Angelina was the one to speak her mind. She had to admit, she probably looked scary at the moment. She was pissed off and fustrated. Her eyes seemed to be glaring, no matter what she was feeling. She saw all her hair frizzed and spiked in her shadow of the flaring lights. She put the tool box down and saw the part of the celing that fell.
"What the hell?" she said. "This place is falling apart God damn it!" She then noticd scratches on Per. "Did that fall on top of you??" she asked.

((I think I'm braindead, Degen! O_o;;; You'll know why in the other thread.))

Cwen was about to answer Max with something along the lines of "Other topics besides your involvement with... that" when the TV blared to life breaking news. Not funny. The Admin headquarter was really malfunctioning. "Not a drill," she muttered under breath. It was on the news. It couldn't be a drill.

When Max mentioned betting, Cwen frowned. "No. There is no bet. They will fix it or else," she simply said, not amused at all.

Thinking out loud, Antoinette dictated, "If one or more doors are not malfunctioning, perhaps the malfunction can be worked out of the system starting at said doors and moving back inwards." She didn't wait for a reply before she was off to stare at doors and then order people to strip said doors until she could fix them.

Antoinette tended to be stubborn in that way.

Flarn ZeglosEkruh mechanic
Intro post.

The traffic coming from the White sector TP's was so bad, Flarn would have had an easier job walking from where he was in the green sector down there. That would have been much slower and would probibly have proved just as hard to do anyway though, so waiting was all he could do for now. As such, when a nearly empty pod arrived, Flarn was quickly in and closing the doors before anyone could complain. Within minutes, he had found himself in a bustling area of panic. Most of the doors had clamped shut tighter than a clam and for the people stil inside, that was bad. Despite the noise of the crowd behind himself, he still heard the groans of metal on metal from not too far away. The next entrance most likely. Guessing that the droids would be in that direction, he set off at a jog towards them.

Flarn could see the way the gate had been opened long before he could make out individual figures going under the massive rend in the metal. His guess had been correct. Nothing but the RUST droids could have done such a clean job. Striding in the gate after the last of the robots, he spotted his leiason to the company standing off to one side with what looked to be an Admin. It was either butt into their conversation like an a** or wait until they were finished and just stand around like an idiot. Flarn chose to stand nearby and wait.

Elliot blinked in surprise at Per's statement. He got in with the help of his maker, apparently. If he knew his way around the White Sector, that meant his maker was most likely an Admin, one Elliot did not know. Of course, the scientist was deeply dedicated to her job, plus she often had to do Armand's for him, so she wasn't surprised to learn she didn't know one of her coworkers. However, they often had staff meetings, so she most likely knew the man's face, but not his name.

She heard Armand leave with a cheery "Ta ta!" but didn't bother to try to stop him. He wasn't doing anyone any good by loafing around here, and maybe he could find something useful to do elsewhere... Probably not. Oh well.

Turning to the mechanic, Elliot sighed and answered for Per, "Someone cut his way into the compound, and yes, it fell on him..." she said, adding an, Obviously... in her mind. "He can't get out."

Just as she finished speaking, Elliot heard a curious tapping sound on the wall nearby. Startled, she stood and stepped closer to the slat, listening. Someone was pounding on the other side, as if he was trying to get in or something... Or he was trying to communicate. Baffled, Elliot kicked the door to show she was listening, and then turned to the other woman.

"I think someone's trying to get through. We should get out of the way."

Jack Vegas Work Droid - R.C. #D-110
Company~

Jack was fiddling with an access panel by the time Armand had come over. He had known Armand for quite a while, as it was him that tended to supply Jack with the newest upgrades.
"Oh hey Armand, how's things around here? Well... You know, other than hell breaking loose." He said cheerily whilst still working on the panel which was now flashing a variety of weird and wonderful colours. Jack was in fact using an upgrade that he had only just gotten recently from Armand, a new hyper speed connection cable. He unplugged and stood up to face Armand finding there was little could be done with the main hall as of now.
"you know, being a robot I can connect to the system. And I keep getting this odd feeling every time I do connect. I can't quite describe it." Jack said with a worried tone. For a robot his voice was pretty natural sounding.
Just then Jack noticed Flarn, he was always like this, not knowing how to interact or something, some times he seemed more robotic than Jack did. Jack raised his hand in a slight wave to say that it was fine to join in. Flarn wasn't a problem really, none of his people were, but it was indeed unusual having his family on Klox, the res of his kind tended to live on the main planet and sea cities.

((Yeah, Lise, I read in the other guild. Blah!))

Cwen's right I have to admit. Maxwell slightly frowned and sighed. Klox City may very well be done for if the Admins fail. Without the city, there can be no business--legal or illegal. "I can't wait for this to be over," the godfather slightly mumbled. "This is by far the worst problem in recent memory."

"Will they--yes, they have!" exclaimed the reporter on the screen. "The RUST androids have successfully made a break in!" Several RUST androids were then shown on the screen entering the facility. "For those of you just joining us..." The reporter summarized the situation so far while different scenes were displayed every few seconds on the screen. One of the scenes showed Zazzy in the background, and another one showed two other people entering the facility that were in the cafe earlier--Angelina and Antoinette.

Maxwell sipped his whiskey and blinked upon seeing the two women on the screen. "Hey, weren't those two here earlier?" he questioned to Cwen. "One of them was with Zazzy. The other one was sitting by herself."

KRASHHH!!! The loud noise startled some of the cafe patrons. "This is truly a dangerous area right now," stated the reporter. "The Admin HQ is falling apart in some areas."

Maxwell shook his head. "Well, you couldn't have said it any better, Cwen," he commented. "They better fix it or else." The mobster glanced over at the screen, and then back at Cwen. "You know, this is going to be a major PR problem for them." He paused for a second, and then added, "A PR problem much worse than anything you or I have ever had to endure. The press is going to want some opinions from people such as ourselves. Perhaps we should attend one of these inevitable press conferences?"

Angelina looked at Per and realized something. 'Well, duh, it fell on him. But something doesn't look right. Something's wrong,' she thought to herself, resisting the urge to slap herself in the forehead. "Per, anylisis of your systems check." she commanded. Then the other woman's statement got through to her. 'If it's this close... And Morse code. Damn it. I should've known,' she cursed to herself. "Per, get a move on and clear the slat." she commanded. She walked over towards the woman. "Miss, when we clear the door, tap the wall with Morse code to say that it's all clear and move out of the way as fast as you can." she explained in a rush. 'Knowing Zazzy, it's probably going to be a hell of a bang,' she thought to herself as she grabbed the toolbox and moved out of the way.

((Max's theme song is stuck in my head now. It could be the opening song or credits to this roleplay too. Lol. xd Oh, shoot. Angelina AND Antoinette were in the cafe? I'm getting everyone confused.))

Cwen's thoughts were similar to Maxwell's. Maybe it was because they were both business people and genuinely cared for the city or maybe it had something to do with them being childhood friends. "What is happening to the city?" she mumbled.

She almost raised an eyebrow when she saw Zazzy and Angelina. She didn't recognize Antoinette, but had a faint fleeting memory of her being in the cafe. "Well, hope they are useful," she said flatly.

At the loud crash noise, Cwen almost jumped and let go of her glass. Thankfully, she didn't. She gave Max a look that said "You didn't see that."

At the PR comment, Cwen nodded in agreement. "Yes." She would set to the side her grudge against the underworld for now. She really didn't want to say what she was going to say next, but the situation wasn't very good. "Max, truce? We better make sure the problem is fixed or we'll have to stall time for them at the PR conference."

Armand merely smiled when Jack asked what else was going on. "What hell?" He didn't really change his expression even after Jack mentioned that something was weird. The problem could either be with the Warlock system or the cable. There was nothing wrong with the cable. There couldn't be since Armand had done it himself. As for Warlock, it wasn't likely something was wrong with it besides maybe today being the best example of something being wrong.

"Have you been drinking too much lately?" the scientist asked playfully. Of course, he didn't mean alcohol. "Where does it feel funny, hmm?" The problem could sometimes be located if the odd "feeling" was in a specific location or portion of the connection.

The jolly red head noticed Jack wave to someone who seemed to be shy and stood off to the distance. Armand grinned and waved. "Come join the party!" He wasn't well acquainted with Flarn, but that didn't stop him from being himself. Flarn was just another potential prank victim.

Antoinette approached Jack and Armand after overhearing a interesting tidbit about... 'funny feelings' when connecting to the system. "Yes, please explain." Civility; she wanted to know what was happening. If there was a flaw in a design somewhere, she wanted to be the first to know. She may then be allowed to fix it herself as a reward, and if she did well with that, it was one more step up to becoming the top dog.

Jack Vegas Work Droid - R.C. #D-110
Hello~?

Jack laughed at the drinking comment. True he couldn't get drunk but the same effects could be had if he got a shot of AC current at a 'robot bar' as they were beginning to be known. But soon enough the seriousness was back in the conversation along with the arrival of Antoinette
"Well... That's the thing, I don't know where it 'feels funny'. I can't even trace it diagnostically, it's just... I don't know. AND before you start I have been and had a look over myself just in case." Jack explained to the growing group. If anything saying he thought Warlock felt weird would sound even stranger, considering Jack didn't know where it was or if it could even feel weird. At that exact moment Jack had an idea... If Warlock felt weird to him, maybe it was because Warlock did indeed feel weird.
"Hey... give me a second here, I... I dunno, just wait here." Jack said turning back to the connection port behind him that he was working on before Armand showed up. He took out his direct connection cable from the back of his head again and plugged into the system, leaving the destination off again.
"Well, here goes. Warlock... I don't even know if you get any of these messages from me or the other Droids. Man I don't even know if Warlock is what you're actually called but if you DO get these messages then listen... Whatever's going on with you, no one in this city can help if you don't tell us, and if you're not up for letting yourself be known, how about just stopping this lock down, it's sending the whole island into chaos! And I'm guessing if the island goes down, so do you... Self preservation MUSt be part of your program, it's part of all AI programs. Just give it a thought man." Jack left the end of his message a little open and turned back to Armand, with his cable still plugged in.
"Well... What'll happen now eh? I sent a message to 'the system' as we Droids like to call it. Not that we know if it goes anywhere, we just leave the destination blank and it sends anyway. I'd suppose you could call it an electronic prayer HAHA!" He explained to the other two. Droids had their own culture in Klox, down in the poor areas and old warehouses where no one really minded. So sometimes Droid practices weren't always something humans would know about.

Burble, burble

Waiting while the other two were talking allowed Flarn to think about the situation. Warlock had appeared to go haywire. That alone was a lot to think about. Before long, Jack and the admin had both invited him to join in with their conversation. Stepping next to Jack and Armand, Flarn spoke his mind in his usual gurgly voice . "This turn of events is troubling. With Warlock being so.....tempramental, things in the city are bound to get worse. This feels like the beginning of something much bigger. For now, we should try and minimize damage to the area." There was truth in his words. The more damage done to the white sector, the harder it would be to control the other sectors. If the white sector wasn't in control, that would just make chaos and that would destroy the city faster that Warlock could. All the while that he was speaking, faint colors could be made through the visor, from a green of thought into a blue of dread. Not that they would know what it was about.
