Naiten hesitated. She could see that the team leader's wound was getting more and more serious by the minute. If there wasn't a chance to heal her soon, it might be too late. The girl quickly weighed her options, then acted.
Quickly, while the opponent was distracted by Hiniko, Naiten sent a flurry of five shurikens in his direction as she simultaneously dashed forward. The girl released her transformation as she charged and created a bunshin instead. While the bunshin wouldn't be able to perform any physical attacks, it would help to cover the girl by confusing the target. After performing the needed hand signs for the clone, both Nai and her clone held one hand in front of her and holding a kunai while the other was held behind her and to the side as they shuffled with each other to further confuse the opponent. Clone and actual both continued to weave in and out of each others paths as they approached the target. Perhaps Nai's surprise attack with a bunshin would distract the thief enough for Hiniko to slip underground unnoticed without needing to use a clone of her own.
Once they reached the target, Naiten and her clone would attack simultaneously, Naiten from the thief's left and the clone from the thief's right. The clone would seem to strike upwards with the kunai held with the blade pointing up while Naiten would strike downwards with the kunai held with the blade pointing down.

 Hiniko could see what Naiten was doing. She smirked a little bit thinking this might work. The man they were supposed to be protecting was left open but she was hoping they had this fight over with now. Naitens tepped in allowing Hiniko time to perform the signs to slip underground. she dissapeared and "swam" her way to where their target was, hoping to pull him underground just as he would move to deflect naiten.

 The man smirked in his successful deflection of the girl's wrist, hoping to finish her off with his next attack. At least, thats what he WAS hoping, until he felt several small objects stabbing into his back, tearing through his fine cloak into his flesh. His body already complaining from the burning in his shoulder, The man turned around to find what looked like twins coming in to attack him. "A Clone.....damn." He thought, unable to tell the real thing from the clone. The man had figured the shinobi would come at him one on one like the leader had, giving him an easy way to dispatch them one by one, but to fight a team with trained tactics.....he had not been prepared for such a fight. Not knowing which one was the real threat, the man took both as if they were the real one, widening his stance and crouching somewhat, arms at either side to attempt to catch the two by their wrists. His right shoulder burned in protest as he sincerely hoped the real shinobi was on the left. So focused and trained was he on one-on-one fighting, that he did not notice the other girl activate her jutsu: his concentration remained on the immediate threat. As the two went in for the attack, the man extended his arms forth...to find his left arm going through thin air. The other one was not even a solid clone, it was a mere illusion! The man swore to himself as he lost his balance, his left side extending as the knife of the real naiten sunk into his already burning flesh. Hatred in his eyes, the man attempted a wild haymaker with his left, aimed at Naiten's head.

Nai's other hand prepared for a second attack, pulling out another kunai as her first attack hit. Just then, the girl felt and saw her target's body twist into a punch. Thinking quickly, the girl firmly grasped the kunai that was still in the man's body and ripped it out sideways across the skin, creating a deep gash, as she ducked into a kneel and covered her head with her other arm, the kunai that it had just pulled out facing outwards. It was a horrible position for Naiten to be in if the opponent decided to kick, but really, any position was horrible for the girl if she had to dodge a kick considering the height difference between herself and the bandit.
The wild punch swished harmlessly but quickly over the girl's head.

Hiniko had stayed underground until the perfect moment. She didn't want to waist any time in helping Naiten. As soon as Naiten had ducked leaving herself open to a kick, Hiniko grabbed at the mans ankles, and yanked down. If it worked like it was supposed to, then he would be pulled a good ways underground, and hopefully unable to move, ending this fight. Or at least helping them.

He seemed to be going at an unusually fast past, not as fast as a shinobi, but faster than the average civilian, but his clothes were the suit of a bartender. Despite his speed, he didn't appear to have even broken a sweat. Yasashii had without even realizing it taken off ahead of the cart, simply jogging down the road faster than his clone wanted to drive the horse. By the time he realized his mistake he was far enough ahead to where he didn't even feel it necessary to bother stopping to wait yet. He'd meet up with the cart later. But, he found himself surprised as he grew close enough to the scuffle ahead on the road to see what was going on. A group of genin fighting one fancily dressed rogue, a number of brutish looking men unconscious on the ground, and one girl wearing the garb of a Konoha chuunin also unconscious. Standing back alone there was also a young man clutching a sword case. Judging quickly by what he saw, he determined that this was an unfortunate hold up by a none too bright band of thieves. But, the leader of the thieves apparently had some level of training, as he was apparently able to incapacitate the chuunin, and even the three genin seemed to be having a hard time of it... As he grew even closer, it was possible that the fighters would begin to notice him, but he didn't even slow his jogging until he passed the man who he assumed at a glance to be the team's client, judging purely by the fact he was doing nothing to help despite holding so tightly to a sword. The ones actually fighting still didn't seem to notice him yet, occupied with each other as they were. The client on the other hand, his eyes snapped right onto him once he entered the man's peripheral view. Chalking it up to nerves from being attacked, Yasashii continued on at a slower pace until he was right next to the bandit. By this time, there was no doubt he had been spotted, not that it would do the man any good if he had spotted him. Simply laying his hand on the bandit's shoulder, he gripped on, not too hard, but not exactly lightly either, and stopped walking. At this point, the group would undoubtedly have a moment of surprise at some civilian walking in and interrupting, but he didn't mind at all. He was doing them a favor, because he was bored, and they were in his way. Turning his head just slightly to meet the eyes of the bandit, he spoke. "Move, and you will die instantly." was all he said, simply waiting for the man's reaction at that point. ~ [Chakra: 125/125]

So, your reaction to Yasa showing up is of near equal importance to Greg's. Same with Kage since she's at the bandit's feet.

He's the only bandit not unconscious on the floor.
