The female Gardevoir put her hands on her hips and frowned. She had to get back to work soon and wondered when she'd be able to escape.
She was all game for ditching Mercy here if she had to but that was a last resort plan if anything...
Soren peered from around the Gallade to stick his tongue out at her, further invoking her fury.
"You little-!"
Alfred shifted and stood, helping her to her feet as well and pulled her into one more embrace.
"Everything will be okay...Je vous promets." He wished he could stop using the word 'promise', but he could think of no other way to console Lucinda.
"C'mon, let's go back...Arceus knows what those two have done to your brother and Liena by now..."

   Mercutio---&--- Lucinda---&--- LaraAs soon as he noticed Soren's tongue, Mercutio pulled a Mr. Miyagi.
His hand whipped out and snatched Soren's tongue.
"Not gonna try that again, are ya'?"
Lucinda nodded and shook, rather distraught after crying so hard.
She squeezed Alfred's hand, rather reluctant to ever let go.

Alfred---Soren---Liena
Soren made his first sound, a small yelp of surprise. The Ralts flailed his arms at Mercutio's hand angrily just as Alfred, leading Lucinda by the hand, stepped back in.
"What are you doing?"
"Teaching him manners."
The male Gardevoir shook his head slowly, the faintest trace of a smile still on his face.
He didnt want Lucinda to go as much as she didnt want to go, but he had no choice...
"Good news, kids. You guys get to go hang out with Uncle Mercy and your mom at the Sun Guild..."
Liena turned sharply at the announcement as Alfred picked Soren up, rescuing him from Mercy's grip.
"What? You're staying here alone?"
"Nonsense, Sasha is here and anyways it isnt like there's a target on my back anymore..."
Which was a lie in two parts. There was still a target and Sasha was just as likely to fire at it as anyone else.
"It's only for a while..." He said, mostly for Lucinda's sake.

Mercutio---&--- Lucinda---&--- LaraMercutio blinked as he watched the married couple come back in.
He then let go of the Ralts' tongue, acting as if it had never happened.
"It's harder for us to help you when we're not all together," He said.
"It's fine, Mercy," Lucinda said softly.
"Alfred will be alright here... We just need to keep the kids occupied while he does some work..."
Mercutio sighed a little and nodded.
"Liena, if you could help occasionally... I'd really appreciate it..."

"Of course, I can help you teleport them back there before I head back to work..." She turned to look at the clock on the wall.
Ugh, Lucy would skin her alive if she was late for night shift.
She gently reached down to pick up Lara who remained asleep and cradle the tiny Ralts in her arms.
"Everything will be fine..." Alfred repeated, a broken record, but this time it sounded as though he was trying to convince himself. He inclined his head down to cast his psychic gaze over Soren who was sitting in content in his father's arms.
"You should go before it gets dark..." Why it getting dark would matter he didnt say, he just needed some excuse [no matter how weak] to get them out of the tower as soon as possible.

Mercutio---&--- Lucinda---&--- LaraLucinda kissed Alfred softly on the lips before gently taking Soren from him.
"If I don't see you at least once a day, I'm running off and joining a circus," She threatened.
"She'll do it, too."
The twins then Teleported back to the Sun Guild.

Alfred
The Gardevoir forced a smile despite being angry with himself.
He remained focused on the place where his family and Liena had been at before vanishing, his arms still locked in a cradle from when he held Soren.
After a moment the smile faded and he dropped both arms to his side with a sigh.
This was what he wanted, he wanted them to be somewhere safe and although s**t happened at the Guild of the Sun quite frequently there was plenty of Pokemon there to prevent anything from happening.
Here it was empty, and with Sasha a member of the Elite it was dangerous. He didnt doubt that the Lucario would pull something if she saw the need and he preferred his wife and kids not be around when she did.
Suddenly feeling horribly alone in the room he turned and made his way out to the Tower's Lookout...
