Rynn watched Robbin just sit there. The sun and the wind played with his fur making it hard for Rynn to focus on the hole that would have her breakfast. Quickly taking a rake at a shadow near the water's surface Rynn came up with a cold, wet, empty paw. Shoot..

Robins tail twitched as he spotted a fish swimming close to the surface. He waited for a sec before thrusting his paw into the water and pulling a fish out. When the fish hit the ice it began to flop around.

Staring at Robin's fish Rynn knew she could do better. She would do better. It wasn't like she was an invalid or untalented fox. This time Rynn started patiently at the surface of the water and seeing a fish took aim and struck at it. Success! A small fish landed on the ice and started flopping around. It wasn't as big as Robin's fish but it was indeed a fish. Rynn smiled and went back to staring at the fishing hole pleased with herself.

Robin dug his claws into both fish killing them so they wouldnt flop back into the water. He smiled at Rynn. "Nice job." he told her.

Trying hard not to beam with pleasure Rynn failed. She had caught her own fish! Thanks. You're not too bad yourself old-fashioned fox. Rynn looked at Robbin and threw a wink at him. Her face was split into an almost infectious grin.

Robin just shook his head and picked up both fish. He than started to head back to their igloo. He went to say "Thank you and come on." But it sounded more mumble than that.

Teasing Robin was fun. Rynn followed Robin back to the igloo her mouth watering at the thought of breakfast. She couldn't understand what he had said, but he was headed back so Rynn figured she should follow.

Rynn shrugged. Raw is fine with me. Sitting down Rynn squirmed into a more comfortable position. She had never actually cleaned a fish before, she wanted to see how it was done.

"Alright thats good."He said as he continued to work on the fish. After he cut its stomach open he swirled a claw around in it than dumped its guts out onto the ice. Next he cut of its head and tail before skinning it. Than cutting it into two big pieces to be cut into smaller bite size. When that fish was down he did the same process to the other one.

Visibly cringing Rynn turned away from the fish. Ok I wanted to know how to skin a fish but still.. nasty! You're going to end up with fish scales in the fur of your paw. Her tail twitched at the thought of having little fish scales in her fur irritating her skin and Rynn barely managed not to gag. The fish guts and head didn't bother her because blood could always be licked off, but scales they would just go from being stuck in one's fur to being trapped in the mouth giving any poor fox who had them a major mouth irritant and a fishy taste that just wouldn't wash out.

Moving closer to Robin Rynn used her own paws to help clean off his. Sometimes a second set of paws can help, you know? Once Rynn was satisfied that Robin's paws were clean enough she turned to her fish breakfast.

Nodding a little while eating, Rynn noticed a slight blush on her cheeks but didn't care as much as she would have around home. home. Rynn realized with bit of shock that she felt homesick. It's true that most of the other foxes weren't home and her owner was a total spazz but still it was a chaotic mess that Rynn knew inside and out. She missed it. It had taken her spending a night with Robin to realize how much she really did miss the company of her fellow foxes back home. She also liked spending time with Robbin though. He was a nice fox who didn't comment on her strangeness or little quirks. Even if she went back home she still would want to see him again. Still finding a way to bring the subject up would be hard. So umm. Robin what are your plans? You said before that you've been out hear for a couple weeks. Will you be headed back to your home soon?
