Christine laughed and nodded, making her red hair bounce. "I guess the only thing I'm good at is stealing stuff." Her smile grew.

She blushed, No one had ever told her she would ever be good at anything. "Thanks, I am sure your right." She said gratefully.

Erik smiled once more and returned to the piano. His nerves were on the edge once again. To soothe out his emotions he began playing Waterfall.

Christine walked over and stood next to the piano, closing her violet eyes. A small smile came to her lips as she listened to him play. She seemed almost entrance by the music, as she always was around it.

Erik smiled as he let go of the keys. He loved playing that song. It always reminded him of the one waterfall he'd seen during his time at home. He sighed and looked around the ballroom, expecting it to be empty. Noticing Christine standing next to the piano startled his newly calmed nerves and his stomach dropped to his feet again. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know you were still here, how rude of me."((Sorry. I'm totally braindead right now. I'm in a fighting mood, no thanks to my battle atop the Eiffel Tower on the other guild))

Christine opened her eyes, suddenly realizing she was still in the ballroom. "Oh gods I was leaving and then you started to play and I couldn't leave because I am sort of really drawn to music..." She rambled on trying to explain.
((Ack I just got back from seaworld so if my answers are really dead sounding sorry.))

Christine's cheeks flushed and she looked at her feet. "Well I have always been really drawn to music. I love the stuff and when I hear it... I just cannot help but stay and listen and I really don't understand why..." She trailed off.

Christine's sheepish grin fell and she looked disappointed. "Uhm yeah if you want me to leave I guess yeah." SHe said loosing her words.

Christine looked down at her feet again and sighed. She always messed up conversations like this.

Erik took a minute to recollect the conversation. He took a deep breath and began to explain what he thought was the reason this whole conversation had gone awry. "When you said that you were drawn to music, I thought you meant that you couldn't leave because I was playing. I told you that I should stop playing so you could leave meaning that if you wanted to leave, you could. I'm sorry if I made it sound like I wanted you to leave. It may sound weird to you, but it's not very often that people actually stop and talk to me like i'm a normal human being. I never want to be alone, it's just that no one ever acts like they want me around..." He trailed off and his face flushed a light red with obvious embarrassment. Erik scratched the back of his head nervously, awaiting her reaction. She'd probably just give him a weird look and leave silently, like everyone else did.
