Nelowulf Lightsabres usually work better on Conjoined twins, cale. Do I look like a jedi? hell no. gimme a blaster, or possibly a vibroblade.

Han wasn't a jedi. You only need to use it to cut the body off. If you use a blaster, you still have to lug the weight around. With the saber at least it cuts in one quick slice...
Come on, they smell worse on the inside anyway.

That thing earlier, about being a general... I mean, it's cool and all, a very very important and powerful position, but it's kinda hard to do in RP, I feel. And a general really doesn't run around blasting people. I mean, Chidee's going be a general/admiral, leading his forces, but doesn't that kinda isolate him from the other characters? (Though, I suppose that him facing off, with armies, against an opposing general...). Still, it's kinda tough to represent armies clashing through RP.

Not really, it would be like roleplaying Piett or Thrawn. In fact, its not even that difficult.
Think like Durge. That's all there is to it.

Durge? The big noodle monster?
Well, maybe I'm just not used to it. Still, RPing Thrawn, wouldn't that be... *** "Sir! Overwhelming numbers of MC-90s are closing in upon us! What do we do?" asked a panicky bridge officer. "Calm yourself, Ensign. We shall..." replied Thrawn dryly, his voice trailing off as he tapped at his console. "Mon Calamari, Mon Calamari..." he muttered under his breathe, as he searched through his electronic index. "Ah," he said triumphantly, "execute [name of manuver]." ...ten minutes later... "Sir, we've completely annhilated the enemy." said the Ensign, eyes wide with disbelief. "Of course." ***
Eh, it might be the battles, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. Telti'll be simple, so it'll hopefully help me get used to that kinda thing. Though, perhaps, from what Nel is saying, it might be too easy (a phrase which gives me gut wrenching fear)

And I like the Dash-type char idea.

Me, I like skills and experience, over luck, both for myself and for a character. For one thing, luck, I feel, means you really haven't won.
It's traditional to plot or actually do the deed oneself, but...Chidee's a busy man.

Problem is, nobody wishes to play anything new or exciting, which a dash character is...
Heck, if I really thought it would be useful, i'd play a droid, but i'm not really into the assassin droids...
Although... this reminds me of my idea for a perverted astromech...

i really don't like the idea of an uber-general. it's unbalanced and determines entire shifts of power, rather than individual battles. it's one thing to have a sith or whatnot that kills people one or two at a time. but to hold the fate of star systems in your fingers? eh...

I agree with ND.
Well with Boba vanishing, there's going to be a power-struggle within the Mandos. Obviously Drako, Junta and the Shadow Blades will be declaring themselves the true Mandalorians, and with no opposition.
Maybe we should have one "true Mando" and see the tension between the two?
Or not.

Nah. Boba just went into the depths of whereever. No need to worry about that.
anyways, I didn't mean an uber general.
There are two ways to play as a general:
1) Be reserved, and not join the fighting. Stay aboard the flagship. If you pursue this, you basically control the battle which goes on, and how it turns out in the broad spectrum, while individuals tell smaller aspects of the story. Think as if you were telling the story in the eyes of Akbar. Most of your posts will revolve around shouting orders and fleet placement, and begging the fighters to do better job.
2) be active. Often, this works with a lower officer, like a captain. Go out, join the fighting, and lead a squad. But then, you do no more than individuals do, as you simply tell the small story of a particular aspect of a single battle. You basically are just a squad leader. TEll as if from the eyes of Han assaulting the bunker. No knowledge of a space battle.
That's the only two ways you can play.

Will Kyle Katarn play a big role in anything? And, I'd kind of like Mordranna to interact on some level with Tionne ... ^^;; Go me, and lack o' specifics ...
