Shanahan rushed at Joshua, attempting to grab his head for a spinning neckbreaker!

While Shanahan rushed at Joshua, he instead took a step towards Matt before throwing his right leg into the air, looking to stop The God of Punks before he could execute his neckbreaker, with a Yakuza kick!

Shanahan was hit with the Yakuza kick, knocking him down to the mat!

Joshua fell to the mat also, and as he hit the ground, if Shanahan was on his back, he'd throw an arm over him for a cover!

The arm was placed over Matt's chest, and the ref slid in for the count!
1...
2...
The ref stopped the count... Because Shanahan's foot was propped up on the rope! He didn't know whether to keep counting or the call the rope break, he was never told the rules! He looked around confused, not sure sure what to do!

Joshua looked up at the referee and then buried his head in his arms, knowing he had the match won there if the referee had counted the three!
He finally pulled his head up and slid to the outside, before slowly walking over and grabbing his singapore cane. He slid into the ring and would wait for Shanahan to stand to his feet.

The God of Punks regained himself, and grabbed the ropes to help pull himself back up to his feet. He shook his head, his forehead now bleeding from the rough kick.

Joshua watched Matt get to his feet, and made a motion of a cross in the air with the point of the cane, before looking to smash it down on the top of his forehead!

The cane came cracking down on Shanahan's head, knocking him right back down to the mat!

And with that connection, Joshua once again dropped down to the mat to try for a cover on Shanahan!

Joshua was pissed! What would he need to do to pin The God of Punks! Joshua got to his feet, and gripped the Singapore Cane with both hands before looking to unleash a frenzy of Cane shots on Matt's body as he laid on the mat!

The cane shots rained down on Shanahan, as he laid there and took them. I mean, he was still trying to recover from that harsh shot to the head, how was he supposed to move?

Joshua threw the cane down on the mat and began yelling at The God of Punks without a ******** you Matt! I ******** told you that it'd be easier to just give me the title, but you didn't listen! Now look at yourself! Bloody, broken, laying on the mat. You've ******** up this time Shanahan, and now I'm going to punish you for refusing to give up. The God of Punks is going to look like the Son of Man, and all because you refused my offer."
With that, Joshua dropped down to the mat and slid out of the ring. He dropped down to one knee and began poking down underneath the ring before pulling out a ladder and a table. Danielson slid the table into the ring, then slid the ladder in the ring, subsequently getting to work on setting them both up, first the table, then the ladder.

Matt coughed, the pain of the cane shots now kicking in. He rolled onto his side and began to stuggle to his knees, grabbing onto the ropes for support.
