Sally groaned "do yourself a favor and never have a bi sister. If it's got legs or a face she's attached to it. Sally took the last bite of her pancake "Your boss must be really nice" She said noncholantly. You've been here little over an hour.

Leon sort of shut down for a little while when she brought up siblings, though when she mentioned his boss he got up and grabbed the bag of food and two drinks that his two coworkers wanted, "Crap! Eh, wait where do you guys live? I can't exactly guard Ren if I don't know she is.." he said, realizing just how much he'd spaced out...but they had talked about the shift and that usually made him lose focus of reality.

"16 crenshaw ave...and thank you agian" Sally related as Serrenedy started belting out a punk rock version of a christmas song. Scarily, neither the regular patrons or the owner noticed.

Leon nodded, "Alright, I'll head over there once I'm in the shift.. I usually fall asleep around 9 so don't let her drift off before that. Now I gotta go or those two are gonna tear me apart." he said, but was a bit distracted my Ren's version of the song and ended up walking into the door.. he was a bit of a klutz when it didn't concern the shift..
Leon opened the door this time and started heading back to the game store.

[[I appear to be rather late. It's to my knowledge that everyone's in a coffee shop except for Leon at the moment, correct?]]

Due to having a rather unpleasant sleep the night before, Orpheus decided to give himself a jolt with a cup of coffee. Unfortunately for him, he didn't own a coffee maker, nor did he have coffee grounds to use anyhow. He did, however, live in a close proximity to a coffee shop; fairly convenient for him. Grabbing his jacket, Orpheus left out of his apartment and made his way down the streets. He had inadvertently forgotten to empty the pockets to his jacket the day before, so he was surprised to find he had a digital camera with him. After a quick synopsis, he saw that the battery had been drained a bit, but had enough life to last him a while.

To make the walk more enjoyable, Orpheus had begun taking random photos of basically anything. By the time the shop was in view, he had captured shots of busy people, cars, birds, trees, and his own feet. He hadn't cared much for the new photos, seeing as he was going to delete them anyway.

After making it to his destination, he ordered his drink and sat at a table close to a window. After spiking his coffee with heavy amounts of artificial sweetener, Orpheus had begun feeling it's effects, almost immediately. Now that he wasn't as groggy as before he had begun to pay more attention to his surroundings: the people, the strong odor of coffee beans being grounded, and even the little advertisements laying around.

Orpheus had then begun taking even more photos of everything and everyone in the shop.

"Say cheese everyone", he said before going off into a photo frenzy.

Maybe taking the long way was a better idea. Ian thought as he looked down at the girl who was sitting in front of a store, he'd just ran into her on his way to get some painkillers for that idiot Bryan who insisted on dancing like an idiot in the kitchen. He ended up falling and hitting his head on the counter top, so Ian was forced to go and get some damn medicine. He had saw the girl glaring at the sky in her pajamas while thumbing through a comic book. She wasn't half bad to talk to, though she kinda made him wonder what she was doing.
"So your name is Lucia Knight, correct?" Ian asked after a moment as he crouched down next to her. "Yup, sooo what's your name or do I get the pleasure of calling thee mister or stranger?" He asked with a child's grin. Ian chuckled a bit "I'm Ian. Some call me I.Q" He told her "I'm sticking with E-Man." Lucia nodded to in confidence. E-Man, that was new. "Okay, then I'll call you..... Lu." He said, earning a snicker from the girl "You make me sound so boring." She teased. "Okay, I'll stick with Lucia or Luci. Not as boring as Lu, but still original." He assured her, earning a look of confusion.

Lucia looked at Ian with a confused look "E-man say what?" She asked in a rushed voice. Making the man chuckle slightly, when she first saw him walk up to her she was a bit snappy and slightly paranoid her aunt was going to pop up out of nowhere she when he asked her a question for the first time she almost died of a heart attack she was so startled. But he wasn't half bad, spoke in nerd tongue some, but she could live with that, a friend's a friend no matter how off or normal they seem. "Want to go for a walk?" Ian asked "At least until you know what your doing?" Lucia giggled, but stood. Walking sounded excellent! She helped Ian to his feet and they began to walk.
After walking a bit they began walking past a coffee shop, looking in Lucia looked at Ian who simply shrugged. With a squeal of glee she darted inside, only to slip on the tile and land face first, stupid slippers She huffed.

((Because of the Consistency of the roleplay, I'm just putting up an update-
First off, we have a theme song liked in the first post underneathe the title. The Definition of the shift has been expanded, and the four creatures of the shift are linked to illustrations done by myself (The poorly drawn ones) and KuroSeiryu (The good ones).

Chronollogically, The characters in the Coffe Shop are Leon (Who is just running outside), The White Sisters (Sally and Serrenedy), Orpheus, While Lucia Knight and Ian are walking into the shop. Fenix and Caddy are IN the Shop, but we haven't roleplayed to that point yet.

Jac is still in the park from what I recall, and out newest member has yet to post.))

Are we a fantasy swimming in theocracy?
We are far from holy.
The wholeness of one, repeat after me.

Tommy frowned at his ceiling. It wasn't the dream he wanted. He wanted to go back into that world, hide from his problems. The boy sat up and swung his legs of the edge of his bed, <******** my life..." he mumbled, lazily pressing play on his CD player. System of a Down's Hypnotize filled his apartment, causing him to smile slightly. Tommy loved SOAD. They helped get him through the day without shooting somebody. Tommy opened his dresser, "They disguise it, Hypnotize it. Television made you buy it." he mumbled along with the song, pulling on a System of a Down t-shirt. He then pulled on black ankle socks, black skinny jeans, all black High-Top Converse, and his black beanie. Tommy was ready for the day, or he would be if he had any coffee. So, the teen picked up the satchel bag that contained his laptop and song notebook, turned the CD player off, and walked out the door. Tommy was tired. Extremely tired. He needed caffeine badly. This need for caffeine made him wonder why he didn't have a coffee maker in his apartment... Ah, he had sold his coffee maker to help buy his lap top. A fair trade, he thought.

Tommy walked into the coffee shop, "Black coffee." he said curtly to the cashier. He was a rude person, he couldn't help it. He didn't like talking to people anymore. Tommy put the money on the counter with a sigh. He would take care of cream and sugar himself, as he no longer trusted others. The teen sat at a table and pulled out his laptop. He began surfing the internet. Checking Youtube, Deviant Art, and Myspace. He paid no attention to the online games he had downloaded to the laptop before he had the first dream. He lived those realities, he didn't have to pretend anymore. Tommy added cream and sugar to his coffee with a frown. He took a sip gratefully and returned to the internet.

Sally popped the headphones out her sister's ears. "The guy is gone" Serrenedy blinked twice when "Say cheese everyone" Serrenedy jumped up and started poseing on the bar. then much to Sally's horror she also pulled her up, and begain to alter her poses to hold her little sister down. "How's this?" Serrenedy asked the strange guy with a camera to his face.

Leon was just about past the cafe when he glanced back in and saw the girls posing on the counter for some guy with a camera. It looked like Ren was forcing Sally to do so...the girl really needed to get some rest..
He shook his head and muttered, "Crazy people..." as he continued on his way back to the game store to face his undoubtedly annoyed coworkers..the food was about the only reason they'd be mad. Leon didn't work with the customers, he just went in the back and tested used games that people traded in.
Leon's thoughts were getting quite scattered and that wasn't a good thing.. He was only focused with the girls 'cause they were dreamers too..snapping at Fenix was an accident because he hadn't been awake for long. Though now after meeting three different dreamers within 2 hours he was starting to get paranoid again, distracted plus paranoia wasn't a good thing, but as long as nothing surprised him he'd be alright.

It had been two months since Zachary had started having strange dreams in which he was wandering in a tattered world not unlike the normal one, just run-down and quite destroyed. In the last one, the last thing he remembered doing was hiding in the bathroom of what appeared to have once been a coffee shop. Upon awakenning, he found himself in that very bathroom, but the place wasn't run down at all. Now this was acctually very common, but normally it only happened inside his house. He looked down at his silk pajamas and chuckled to himself. A one armed man walking around in broad daylight wearing silk pajamas. People were going to think he was a nutter. Then again, if he told anybody about his dreams other than the agency he owned and operated, they would think the same. Then again, his agency would probably throw him out as well. As he stepped out he noticed two people posing on the counter as well as a mad photographer taking pictures of everything, even his own two feet. On second thought, he'd probably fit right in. Zachary walked up to the counter, the side opposite where the two girls were posing and ordered his coffee. Regular brew with a bit of cream and a dash of cinnimon please. He suddenly realized, being in his pajamas, his wallet was at home, as well as all of his money. Bah, forget it. My money's at home, I can't pay. He walked over and sat down in an empty booth and sat down, resting his head in his left hand, the right arm being nothing more than a stump. If only I had that arm here as well, instead of only in that strange dream world, he muttered to himself.

Fenix walked alongside Caddy for a while, thinking about something to say. The other two girls were extremelly strange.. this one is more mellow... way more mellow.. Um.. what to talk about? Girls have hobbies, right? Hobbies are good! "So, have any interesting hobbies?" They were still a good two blocks away from the coffee shop. Plenty of time for conversation. He only hoped she wasn't a dreamer. A good looking girl like that shouldn't have to be subject to it's anything. A colorless world full of death, doom, and violence: The Shift.

(I'm quoting this since it was a few pages ago & whoever can see what I'm responding to.)

Caddy

Well I spend the majority of my time asleep, fighting off nightmares, literally, is what Caddy would have answered. Fenix didn't need to know about that part of her life though. No one did. "Well, I play a lot of guitar and sing some," motioning to her guitar strapped over her shoulder. "What about you?" Just as she asked, they arrived at the coffee shop. A gust of cold air rushed past them as Caddy pushed open the door, and held it out for Fenix after she entered. Waiting for his answer, she glanced over the menu to figure out what she was in the mood for.

Ian walked in and helped Lucia to her feet with an amused look that earned him a child's glare from Lucia. "You sure have an interesting way of entering a room." He commented. Lucia gave him another childish dirty look and popped his arm. Ow, that girl was tougher than she looked Ian noted mentally as he rubbed where she smacked him. The two of them walked up to the counter and Ian placed an order after noticing how Lucia gazed at the place like she'd never been there "One french vanilla and one pumpkin spice latte, please." He said kindly as Lucia gazed at the coffee makers. Two minutes later they were handed their coffee and were sitting at a booth. Ian handed Lucia the pumpkin spice one and proceeded to sip the vanilla one, at first it scorched his tongue. He quickly got over it. He glance at Lucia as she cautiously sipped the steaming drink "Ymmy bat hawt." She said, slightly sticking out her burned tongue. Ian chuckled "I take it you don't come here?" Lucia nodded "Awnty sayz thawt coffee would make me worse." She spoke, her slurring speech slowly returning to normal. "Worse?" Ian asked, slightly curious.

Lucia took another sip of her warm drink, getting used to the warmth then spoke "Yeah, my aunt thinks I'm loony and hired me a shrink. She told me caffeine only makes it worse. But where I work is full of sweets and sugar so she can shove it." Lucia explained. She didn't want to explain to much of what she was going through, but then again it would be nice to speak to another person. Ian nodded, urging her to continue. While swinging her feet she spoke again "Auntie also has medication for me that forces me into sleep or into a depressing state if you ask me." She leaned forward on the counter, resting her chin in the edge of the table and flicked the sugar dispenser in front of her "I feel fine though. Really tired, but fine." She sighed. Ian sipped his drink before slightly tapping his foot "If anyone's going nuts, it's your aunt." Lucia giggled. She could agree with that.

Fenix thanked her for holding the door open, but it felt strange. Usually he was the one to hold a door open for a woman, not the other way around. It didn't matter too much. "Me? Oh, I'm just a petty artist. I sleep, and I paint. Not much else goes on in my boring life. I'm thinking about selling a few of my paintings. I can hardly get by as it is. I try to get a few bucks here and there doing handy-man jobs, but art has always been my calling." He walked up to the counter and ordered a Mint Swirl Mocha Latte with ground chocolate over whipped creame. His taste in coffee was rather extravagent, he usually only ordered things based on the appearance. If it looked good, it more than likely was good. Caddy ordered her drink and they made their way over to a booth, one by the stage. Their drinks would be coming shortly, so they talked for a bit longer.
"So musician, mind playing us a song while we wait for the drinks?"

((I skipped your ordering process, but left it open to the idea that you can say what you ordered as it's brought to the table. Trying to catch up as quick as possible ^_^))

Caddy

It didn't strike Caddy that Fenix was the artistic type, he sort of seemed to give off that kind a vibe. She smiled at his answer before giving in and ordering probably the most calorie filled drink there was on the menu. A double chocolate chip frap with whipped cream topped with caramel and chocolate swirrled on the top. Her guilty pleasure. She followed him over to the booth and sat across from him.
Flattered, Caddy took off her guitar off her shoulder. "Sure." Usually she had a bit of stage fright but he seemed to make it go away. Glancing up at the open mic, she motioned to one of the managers at the cafe if she could use it. He nodded.
Rather than using the small set of stairs on the far side of the stage, Caddy pushed herself up onto the stage and sat on the wooden boards so that her legs were hanging off. She reached up for the mic and tapped it twice to make sure it was on, then returned it to the stand and moved it down so it was just the right height. "This is a cover of "Bleed" by Hot Chelle Rae. I hope you all like it."
Caddy sighed softly to herself, before beginning to strum the first few chords lightly, the words coming to her with ease. "I feel like I'm drowning in ice water. My lips have turned a shade of blue. I'm frozen with this fear. That you may disappear. Before I've given you the truth...I bleed my heart out on this paper for you. So you can see what I can't say. I'm dying here. 'Cause I can't say what I want to. I bleed my heart out just for you..." The song continuing until it's end.

(It's fine smile I like how you did that)
