"Don't give me that crap Bane! You never gave a damn about anything or anyone except yourself! I haven't forgotten all the lives I lost thanks to your cowardice at the Battle of Fovoham Plains or the defense of Fort Zeakden. Need anymore reminders of your selfishness and greed, you sorry excuse for a swine?!" Tsunaimei yelled back as the more he spoke, the more it fueled her anger. She flat out refused to have an open mind with him. At least not anymore. Having to place her free hand on the back of her blade in order to blocked the overhead strike, Tsunaimei struggled against Bane's strength though she held her ground for the moment. "What?!" Tsunaimei asked in disbelief. Bane's uppercut landed right on the button, snapping Tsunaimei's head back and forcing her to stumble back a couple of steps leaving her midsection exposed.

Slowly recovering from the blow to the chin, Tsunaimei looked up and saw the the blue armored man running towards the Virgo main hall. Still effected by the Night Sword attack she had suffered earlier on top of all the fatigue from fighting and traveling all the way from Igros, Tsunaimei was beginning to feel a bit sluggish in her movements. Cursing herself, the Holy Knight pressed on giving pursuit to the notorious sell sword. "Damn you Bane!!! Get back here and fight me like a man! I'm sick of you running away all the time you spineless coward!" Tsunaimei yelled continuing to run after the fleeing man.

Bane was running sluggishly himself due to the blood loss. He glanced back as Tsunaimei began to curse him and he flinched as her last words echoed in his ears. Talk about a blow to my ego. Why is it she's the only one who can hurt my damned ego anyhow?! He thought bitterly, looking back once more to her.

"I was getting tired of your whining!" He snapped back. "I thought it was supposed to be a fight! Not a whining match!" Bane paused in his running, nearly halfway there to face Tsunaimei.

"Hurry up then if your gonna continue fighting me! Your so slow!"

Dmitri nodded but double took as Dominic mentioned Tsunaimei. "What?! WHERE?!" He stated, as he followed Dominic. He could see Tsunaimei was engaged in a battle but the opponent had taken off and fled, the holy knight giving chase. He watched as the opponent paused and realized the two were shouting at one another.

Celine was starting to get miffed as well, but with both the leader of the White Phoenix and Bane. "You two are being ridiculous! The enemy is gathering towards the cathedral where our judge could be fighting the enemy commander right now! The very order is fighting for its life and all you two can think about is beating each other up!? If you can't get it through your thick skulls that it'd make more sense to rout the enemy commander, then I'm going to do it myself!" She then directed the chocobo to ditch both and run for the entrance on her own. Granted, she wasn't even sure she could take them on by herself, but she had to do something - especially with them wasting precious time as they were.


Dominic was trying to get as far as he could, though he was still in a slight state of recovery himself so he wasn't running quite as swiftly as he liked. He could just barely hear the shouting match going on, along with what a third person said. "Celine's here too? Wait a minute...didn't she...disappear like the judge? Or sent to find her?" He wasn't surprised that Tsunaimei hadn't heard him, the female Holy Knight was probably more stubborn than a few of the Taurus order combined. The only thing that reassured him was that he seemed to be gaining on the trio.

Tsunaimei swung her golden blade at the various rays of blue light that formed around her to no avail. It wasn't long before the explosion engulfed the Holy Knight entirely. The Aegis spell Celine had casted on the Vice Judge earlier took the brunt of the damage dealt from Bane's attack but also removed the effect from her person as well. Taking a moment to regain herself, Tsunaimei then pressed on. Her determination overriding the wounds afflicted upon her. Tsunaimei paid Celine's truce speech no heed at all. "Oh, if you're so skilled then who about I just turn tail and watch you take them on all by yourself huh? If you be so bold to do so." Tsunaimei replied to Celine in a sarcastic tone. The sapphire clad Holy Knight was beginning to get very aggravated at Celine as well. The Vice Judge came at Bane with a flurry of sword swipes from varying directions.

Bane growled as his attention had been focused on Celine and a few of the swipes hit his back. He spun back to face Tsunaimei. Though he managed to block some, many fell through and nicked him. With a angry yell, Bane began to swipe back angrily in various directions. "Your a cold hearted woman, you know that?! Sending the kid off to her death! But that's just like you! Caring for none save yourself!" Their blades crossed for a moment.

"You claim to be caring for those of your Order, but you weren't here too protect any of them! And you signed that kid's death warrant!" A angry smirk crossed his face. "By what you've stated so far about me, your no different than I!"

Dmitri noticed whoever it was had gotten off the chocobo. As he spied back to the guards, he noticed that they had drawn forth their weapons. Dmitri drew his own and sprinted faster. "CELINE!" He shouted, hoping he was correct in his guess.

Valthis was now drawing near the Cathedral. Many besiegers of the Virgo order were trying to stop him, thinking that he was a virgo himself. Valthis burned, froze, stabbed, and cut his way through many of the men who tried to stop him. The few who realised that they were no match for the man had ran away. However, a small squad of more skilled fighters approached him.

Valthis was now fighting four mercenaries at the same time. Blocking swords, and maces with his knife, while leaving no time to cast a spell. Valthis sidestepped one of the men, and stabbed him in the gut before another mercenary cut him. Valthis' pain didn't phase him. He turned around and burned him with Fira. The two men left attacked Valthis, eager to try and stop him.

Bane's words had stung just as sharp as any dagger would have even though Tsunaimei refused to admit it. It was true that the two of them had bickered quite a lot and bad things have resulted from their actions too. Mostly in the death toll during some battles of the war. "You know as well as I do that we lost a good chunk of our troops saving the Kingdom from annihilation! We haven't had enough time to fully train the young ones and yet that didn't stop you from saving them either! At least I didn't abandon my Order like you did with Taurus!" Tsunaimei yelled back fighting off tears from guilt that welled in her dark brown eyes. When Bane said his goodbye, the Holy Knight's eyes widened as she witnessed his attack. "Just a little more time..." Tsunaimei muttered to herself but it was already too late. She could only watch as the blue beams danced about until they converged upon her and exploded outward. The impact forced Tsunaimei to slump forward into a kneeling position as she enlisted the aid of her sword as a crutch. Breathing heavily, she looked up to see Bane fall over as well. In an odd twist of fate, Tsunaimei felt a little concerned for the fallen mercenary. "Bane...?" She asked meekly, still wincing from the pain. "I know you're not dead... stop joking around... Bane?!" The concern growing a bit more evident in her tone as tears streamed down her face. Steeling her heart for now, Tsunaimei gingerly rose to a standing position. "I still have to stop them. I'll finish this battle... even if it kills me." Tsunaimei stated while limping her way towards the cathedral. A few mercenaries tried their luck in taking down the wounded Holy Knight only to be rewarded death for their efforts. The numbers grew the closer she got s she now approached the steps leading to the main entrance of the Virgo HQ. Tsunaimei unleashed a series of Lightning Stabs to thin out the numbers which worked with mild success until more reinforcements arrived. The battered and bloodied Vice Judge was beginning to become overwhelmed thanks in large part to her injuries but she still fought on with tremendous bravery and determination.
