He nodded. That was understandable. Hell, it was strange enough that everything else seemed okay. "Well, I am staying in this place, and maybe I will change my mind sometime." Wikus paused then, looked around to see nothing else of interest in the heat, and said "So, eh, would you like to come back inside with me?"

She tried to smile once again, even though she wasn't reassured by his comment at all. "I don't see why you would. It can be nice here." she said with a nod as she stood up ready to head back inside just as he suggested.
"Sure...I have no one else to bother" she said, trying to prevent from floating up

"Are you sure? I don't want to impose on any plans you may have" she was sincere in her words, but she felt a hint of doubt from him

He wanted to ask how he could have any plans, but Wikus pushed that away and instead said "The only plan I have is to get back to an air conditioning system. I don't think you're likely to impose on that, eh?"

She looked inside after his comment, and really not feeling the heat of the summer day, she couldn't quite seem certain, but if he was sure that was his only plan, then why not tag along. "I suppose so" she said with an odd smile as she started to head in, occasionally looking back to see if he was following

Wikus didn't think that she'd go in ahead of him, and it seemed awkward to be behind, so he quickened his pace to be almost next to her in walking. He didn't know what to do next, and still felt a little weird about the last topic.

She walked back over to the area from where they originally came and sat down, patting the space next to her. "Now what?" she asked innocently

"Oh" she said not realizing he was still thinking about things of the past.
She pondered hard however on an answer for his question. She rarely had much to do unless there was something to look forward to, but today her markings remained crystal clear, so there where no interesting storms on their way. She had heard over and over about murders on the East coast, but surely he wouldn't want to go there would he? Why would he want to go and investigate something like that.
"Well.........uh......." she sputtered, really not having the slightest idea as to what to do

His hands on his lap, Wikus waited as Inibi couldn't think of anything to say. When it was apparent that she had nothing, and neither did he, he decided to ask "Is there anything else you want to know?"

"I...don't...know. Anything I guess?" Wikus shifted position a little. Inibi didn't know much about herself, so he couldn't continue that fruitless about her. "Anything not already covered that you want to know, maybe?" Hopefully nothing embarrassing "Ehm...I could tell you more about the prawns, eh? If you wanted, I mean."

"Oh...well I guess that would be fine." she said nodding her head. She knew she could ask virtually thousands of questions, but for her it felt rude to delve into his personal life. Especially considering it seemed to hurt him so

"Well, in a basic way, they are giant bugs. They look like bugs in my country- Parktown prawns. But they have tentacles on their faces, and they look very disgusting." Wikus wished he had a piece of paper or something to make their image more approximate for Inibi. "They have these little arms in their chests...and they are made like humans with two arms and two legs, thank God."
He raised his three-fingered hand a little. "You know what their hands look like already. I-if I took my shirt off you could see some of what their exoskeleton looks like..." Though he didn't seem to like the idea, having to show the horror of hard stuff coming through fur and skin. Luckily it wasn't much; mostly on his arm and some around his shoulder and a little farther down.
