Her stomach fluttered as he touched her cheek. She had never felt like that before. Aqua couldn't understand it, so she just pushed the thought away. I'll figure it out later... she thought. She nodded at Arigane's words. Aqua couldn't think of anything to say, so she just stayed in the crook of Arigane's neck.

He remembered when he turned into that beast in the castle to protect Aqua, his anger over wealming him back then. It drove him crazy that all he could do was Protect and Kill and it drove him insain that he hurt Aqua when he threw the glass onto the counter. He hates his not exsisting heart and he wished that he could get 1 in the future, but he knew, that's imposible.

"What are you thinking about?" she asked, but she quickly covered her mouth with her hands. "I'm sorry, I told myself I wasn't going to ask that anymore." she said from behind her hands, but it came out sounding like a mumble. Gosh, I just can't beat a life-long habit, can I....? Aqua thought playfully.

She grabbed his face with both hands and looked at him sternly. "You. Are. Not. A. Monster." she said, irratated. "How many times do I have to say that until you believe me?" She let go of his face, her irratation slowly beginning to wear off. She huffed her last irrataed breath and began to calm down. Why won't he just listen to me....? she wondered.

She looked at him with a dead serious expression on her face. She was dedicated to find a way to help Arigane whether he wanted her help or not.

She let her mouth linger on his for about 15 seconds until she pulled away and laid her head back into the crook of his neck. "Again with the increadibly sweet things you always have to say. There must be a book..." her voice trailed off. "And as long as your around, I'm always happy. Promise me you won't abandon me, and I'll be happy forever."

Aqua sighed and nuzzled into the crook of his neck, feeling the heat radiating off of his face from her kiss. She was tempted to make fun of him, but then she thought of all the times he made her blush like that and decided not to. After all, she would feel embarassed if he began to make fun of her from all the things he's done to make her blush. But she was pleased that she had that kind of effect on him.
