Brock looked at his traveler's guide, stroked his chin gently, and replied, "According to this, Clefairies are a rare sight to happen within Mount Moon. Unless in the result of something cosmic, a Clefairy will not appear."
He sighed heavily then, and added, "If what is going on here a truly cosmic event, then I am sure the Clefairy will be bountiful."
Pika said, "Okay, we have Kona, Dee, myself, and Brock. We are missing Saya, Jessie, James, and Meowth for us to continue our journey."
The tiny Pikachu had a clipboard in his hand. He had found it lying on the ground as he was scampering for treasures with James. James had found loads of treasures, but none of them treasures were of any value to the trip. Mostly just bottle caps.

Absol listened to the Sceptile, hiding her incredulity. So far, her danger sense hadn't activated. Nothing about the Sceptile's manner indicated a lie. Indeed, the human aura lent the weight of truth to her words. Absol didn't relax, however.
"There has been something brewing. Something dangerous. I have heard news of an increase in natural disasters from other Absols. Many Flying-type Pokemon have been migrating out of season. The nocturnal Pokemon wake when they shouldn't. Even the Clefairy on Mt. Moon have been less cautious than usual, and many have suffered capture by eager trainers."
She eyed Sceptile, thinking quickly. Perhaps if she traveled with her, she could help avert the biggest disaster of all. Her kind would sing her praises for following their ancient instinct. It might even help get rid of the stigma that surrounded Absols.
"I have no name to exchange with you in order to learn yours. Absols do not share their secret names with anyone except in the most dire of situations." She relaxed and sat primly on her haunches, releasing her Pressure.

Dee offered her plant like hand to shake it with the Absol's. "The name is Empress Dee. If this adventure helps your kind then that's even better, then isn't it? I agree that a lot of unnatural things have been happening. I mean, I am a plant! I know I can be horny a lot of the times, but still, well, whatever. Actually, this form does give me some advantages where my original form doesn't. I mean, I will never grow hungry, I am a plant after all. My esp senses have increased exponetially, though I am a fight grass type, and I have the potential in re-learning leaf blade. Leaf Blade is my all time favorite move. It would allow me to get over swampy areas and carry others across also. Like Kona over there. Kona is the Cyndaquill. As well as Pika, he's that Pikachu talking with Gym Leader Brock. Brock is a fan of the rock and ground type Pokemon. When it comes to rocks, there are only a few that I really like. I love Graveller. I call him Flintstone. I do have an Onix too, but riding that thing isn't always as fun as it looks. Great for going underground and acting like a subway. Then I like Tyranitar too. That Dinosaur can learn Thunderbolt and Ice Punch as well as whip up a fine sandstorm as its ability. With the team I have, if you include the ninetails named Saya, you'd think I was all hot for the Fire type. Fire types are nice especially against steel and poison types, but I prefer to have water types or grass. Dragons are cool too. Heh, I kinda miss that Palkia my son Trunks Truesdale had been raising for me. His name is Spitoon. The Palkia loved the name so much, he fully evolved first. Then my form, the sceptile I embodied, yeah, its a male Pokemon and I am a woman in normal mode. Sorry, am I rambling?"

Saya soon returned to the gym and saw that Dee was off talking with the new pokemon.

Pika scampered over to where Saya was, and said to her, "Saya, Dee has asked me to gather our travelling group where Brock is standing. She wants to be sure we have everyone accounted for so we don't leave anyone behind here."

Absol nodded. "Rambling just a little bit, but it is of no matter." She stood and shook out her brilliant white fur. "Very well. I will accompany you. What will you have me call myself? From what you have said, all of your companions have nicknames. As I will not share my true name, I must have another. And if we meet another Absol, it wouldn't do to call me Absol. I do not call myself that anyway."
Inwardly, she was quite nervous. It would be hard, traveling among so many Pokemon at once. She was used to being alone.

Dee looked at the Absol and then replied, "I think I will call you Snow White. Your fur is as white as the snow, and you are trying to do something only a royal is capable of doing, so the name fits. I know Absols are used to going solo, but you are a special absol. Different from all the others, and I mean that in a good way. Watching over us like a legendary Pokemon, that takes bravery. I kinda wonder if we will run into any legendaries on this trip like an Articuno or a Moltres. That would be awesome!"

Absol accepted the name. "Then please introduce me to your companions as Snow White." She noticed the slight commotion below as the Pikachu tried to gather up the party. "Perhaps I could help expedite things a bit. I know the routes to Mt. Moon well. There are several ways not frequented by humans because of their difficulty, but these ways are easy for Pokemon. It might be a good idea to draw as little attention as possible. If there is something orchestrating all these events, we want our movements to be as secret as possible, correct?"

Pika replied, "Absols were dubbed disaster bringers, and that's why they are usually in hiding or one shows up when disasters are in progress. Dee seems to think that this one she's meeting is friendly, but I dunno? I guess we will have to just trust Dee's instincts. So far, they have been right on the Pokedollar."
Brock added, "I agree with Pika. That Absol seems to be warming up to Dee. They've been conversing for sometime and it looks like Dee is bringing it here."
Dee said, rejoining the group, "Everyone, this Absol is going to help us through Mount moon. She knows the way. Her true name is Snow White. Usually Absols do not reveal their true identities unless they feel that they can completely trust their companions. In the past, many pokemon and especially humans have beatrayed Absols and labelled them in a bad way. For this reason, they usually go into hiding only to appear when disasters hit. Snow White wants to crush claw that awful stereotype on this journey and ultimately prove that there are beings that can still be counted as trust worthy. Where is Team Rocket? They were with us."

Snow White nodded politely to the gathered Pokemon and humans. She was a bit surprised by Dee's fib about her true name, but said nothing. Perhaps it was better this way. Nobody would press her about revealing her true name. They may not understand that it was a serious social blunder to insist on knowing an Absol's true name. It might earn you an ill-placed Bite, and that was if the Absol was feeling charitable.
She looked around, surprised at how many Pokemon had human auras. Perhaps they were like Dee as well, humans trapped in Pokemon form. She hoped that she could learn how to speak and understand the human language soon. It would be frustrating if they had to translate for her all the time. She never knew what humans were saying and knew perfectly well that they didn't understand her.
Snow White removed herself to the edge of the group, watching the Pokemon mill around and try to get organized. She was ready to show them the best and fastest way through Mt. Moon, should she be required to do so.

Snow White looked down at the small Cyndaquil and nodded in answer to the question. "Would you happen to prefer a particular route? Since I'm new, I'm not sure what the overall goal is here. I merely know that we must reach Cerulean City. Whether we are to stop on the way and speak to the Pokemon of Mt. Moon is beyond my knowledge." She raised her nose and sniffed, testing the scents that drifted over Mt. Moon.
"Since it is summer, there isn't any snow on the outside of Mt. Moon. While it would be hard for humans to climb it, it should be easy for most of the Pokemon here. Then there are the tunnels inside of Mt. Moon. Most trainers follow one route through it. It's become so popular that a Pokemon Center has even been constructed next to the entrance. However, I know of several, less-used routes. Most can be passed by everyone here, though I'm not sure about the Onix. He may have some difficulty in the smaller areas. These other routes also lead to areas where Paras and Parasects live. I could even make sure we meet with the Clefairy." She glanced around, wondering who was technically in charge.

Kona tried to understand what the Absol said. "I just want to meet a Clefairy that I saw in my dreams. Can you make that happen for me?"
