Rai smiles at Midori and just shakes his head. "You might have forgotten the one important thing about me... I live because when one of my body parts start to fall apart I just replace them." Rai says as he walks over and takes out a glass of Vodka and starts to sip on it. "Midori I would ask if you would like any but... I think this type of drink is how you got into this position in the first place." Rai smiles showing that he is picking on her at the same time allowing her to know that most of his friends will have different ideas of what will be normal. "Narkosa here has a very interesting job from me. He was to watch over everything inside of the Nameless village so that I could see if they would be worthy of a truce between this village and theirs. Also when I found out that you were going there I asked him to become my spy again. He is younger than me but not by that much. He is a very able bodied medical ninja and as that I have worked with him extensively. As a matter of fact I trained him a very long time ago." Rai says as he watches to see what Midori will do to Narkosa now.

"So that is Evan." Rai says to Midori as he looks over at his friend. "He is a highly trusted part of my group. He is the man that will help us get this done correct." Rai says as he waits to see what Midori will say when it comes to Evan. Rai knows that Evan can be hard to deal with at times but he also knows that there is no one he would rather have on his side in a fight.

Evan smirks mockingly at Midori. "A little light show? How...unimpressive. No I won't put this out, I'm here for Rai because he's family, and an old friend, and he's asking me to be here. Who the hell are you to ask me for anything? If you're worried about the baby that much then leave, if not, shut your trap and let's get this discussion started, okay?" Evan says taking another drag of his cigarette, letting Midori know he isn't afraid of her and won't get pushed around by her, regardless if she's pregnant. Since Evan alright lost his entire family he's become numb to such feelings of love to ones family, so he honestly couldn't give a care in the world about the baby. "What are we doing here, Rai?"

Midori sighed as Evan made fun of her. She could have said something ominous about mocking her at his own peril but it would be easier for her to make his life miserable if he didn't see it coming. Besides now wasn't the time for infighting. She didn't like Evan but she didn't have to like him if it meant achieving her goal of bringing Chaos down. After that was done then she'd be free to pay him back full force for his disrespect. She didn't mind waiting... after all wasn't revenge a dish best served cold?

"Don't call me that." She snapped Cantankerously at Rai for calling her 'misses Chaos' before she had a chance to introduce herself. As if their was a chance in hell she would actually marry that creep.

Turning her back on Even and letting the argument go she quickly formed a low level barrier around herself in order to keep the smoke out. Not just to protect the baby but also because she frankly hated the smell and wanted to keep it out of the expensive clothing she was wearing since it was hard to wash out.

"For your information Evan, I am Midori Skyrider. The former Gaikukage of Hidden towns and a current Dennin of the nameless village." She said in a dignified tone before turning back around and giving him a regal half bow as was suited for someone of her stature. "I hope we can work together to achive our mutual goal." She added with a kind smile and a note of respect in her voice that only someone who knew her intimately would be able to tell was just acting.

"Speaking of which." She said as she drew a vile containing a drop of green liquid from her sleeve. "Rai you said we where going to see a genealogist right?" She asked. "I wonder what she would be able to tell us about Chaos's blood. Or what passes for blood for him anyhow." She said wondering if they where going to ask how she had managed to obtain such a prized sample.

Midori ignored Evan's chuckling and yawned at his threat of killing her if she became bothersome. If she had a yen for every time someone said that she'd be three times richer then she already was.

"If you truly have no patience for the high and mighty then frankly I'm amazed you haven't committed Seppuku yet." She shot back at him for his hypocrisy. She knew she could be haughty at times, but so far she hadn't been acting half as arrogant as he had been during this meeting.

Rai smiles very broadly and looks at the two people bickering back and forth between each other his chakra flowing off of him in waves meant to show how angry that he has become from this exchange between these two. "Ok you two I do like the competition between you both but still how about we let the kid s**t at the door?" Rai says his voice low and cold devoid of emotion and all type of feeling. IF one were to hear this voice they might just realize why he has been able to stay alive for as long as he has. His demeanor changed so rapidly that it would seem as if he could kill everyone in this area without thinking twice about it or feeling any regret. Rai says before Evan walks out of the manor.

Rai looks over at Midori and stares her straight in the eyes with a look that has made people know the age and tragedy that he has both witnessed and has bestowed on his opponents through out his long life. "Evan is my cousin the last living member of the Umera Clan. That clan helped me hide out and he has always been there for me when I needed him. As someone who has lost family I think you will understand when I say that any assault on him however slight and minor will be met with my own brand of molten anger. I promise you that the few surviving scrolls of what my clan can do are more than likely not as accurate to what I will bestow on anyone who harms what I consider family. That includes you at the moment but I just want us to be clear on the fact that infighting will not be tolerated within this group. If you want to live through the massive undertaking that you are trying to do then you will need to know that any problems inside of this group will see its failure." Rai says glancing over to Evan at the same time. Rai then turns back to Midori.

"I Am sorry for this threat or warning or what ever you will take this as but we need all the help we can get for we will be trying to take out someone who is more powerful then most legendary people have even imagined." Rai says as he looks at everyone his eyes trying to meet them each in turn so that the seriousness of what he has just said can sink in. "We might even be giving up our lives in this fight and to make sure that we can survive this attack we will need to work as a well oiled machine. I have a few ideas of what we can do here for the over all plan but before we move on I feel that an understanding of each other must be reached. That means no more childish displays of power between any two members of this group. Is that understood?" Rai says as he pauses for the response that must come.

"The best that we can hope for is that we take Chaos on as one entity without any real problems in our fighting style. We will need to get inside information and planing between now and when we finally make our move. As such we need to work on our team work. For this to work I think that we will need to have a sort trial run against others who are weaker than Chaos is." Rai says as he looks around at them again. "Does anyone disagree with my assessment? Also I know that we can not go against Chaos without Evan... More to the fact I wont move unless He is with us. If he leaves this small meeting here then I feel that we will loose a very powerful ally and those are not something that just anyone can replace."

Rai moves over to Evan and tries to whisper something that only he can hear. "If you dont do this then I feel that there is nothing else to do... Besides you can always challenge her later. This is a lot to take in for anyone not to mention someone that is with child. Don't you agree Partner?"

Oh well, no problem, I just need to revise a little.

Midori was just about to say something to Evan's back but the words remained unspoken as Rai began his compelling speech cutting her off. She had been harbering no intentions of actually harming Evan, just childish payback such as slipping laxitives in his Coffey or other such pranks. It wasn't something she normally would indulge in but then few people had ever urked her the way Evan just had.

But even that in many ways was just an act, another mask she wore in an attempt to be more human and not some heartless monster, otherwise it was all too easy for her to slip into an empty emotionless void.

So at Rai's behest she let go of any idea of ever pranking Evan. If for no other reason then she actually did care somewhat for Rai and hated to see him mad at her. Besides that sort of verbal sparring while stimulating should have been beneath someone like her in the first place, since she was rarely the taunting type.

She did think Rai was over estimating Chaos a bit. She had fought him before and found that he was far omnipotent. But then that did not make him any less of a threat, since while not a god in spirit he had enough power that he might as well be one.

With a slight blush on her face, she bowed a second time, more deeper and respectfully then the first. "I apologize if I have offended you Evan for that was never my intentions." She said, her voice neutral and calm as she spoke in the politest manner possible.

"It is understandable if you thought that I show you no respect as you do not know me. However despite my childish barbs the opposite is true. Please stay at least long enough for me to explain why." She asked him, pleading him to stay. Throwing aside her pride to secure his presence just a little bit longer.
