Rosa shrugged, then started walking slowly, eyes combing the ground and little hooves kickinjg things out of her way. "Justa few brown feather so far." She said sadly. Brown feathers were fine, but they would need colorful ones to make it special.
"Yes... I know." Her cheeks flushed happily and she kissed his shoulder before returning to work. She was getting better at letting her own emotions through, but her ability to keep them hidden at will was as strong as ever, perhaps stronger now that she had someone to protect. "I wouldn't still be with you if you didn't want me around. I'd know."

Taran smiled, kissing her head. He never had any doubts about her happiness or love. "I'll always want you around." He was having a hard time concentrating at the cleaning task on hand. He would rather spend the time with his mate.
Korbin Lyric was intent on finding something. There was no way that there wasn't any pretty feathers anywhere. He tried to wander down the path more, a little uneasy when it came to leaving the cleared way.

When she finally spotted a white feather, she was so excited that she ran on ahead to pick it up. White with little gray speckles. Pretty! Oh, another one! They were long too. She flicked her ears, hearing the beach in the distance.
About to check where her brother was, she spotted a bright red bird lounging on a branch nearby. Her eyes widened. So bright! She wanted one of those feathers. Maybe a couple. But... would that be like plucking on of her own hairs? She didn't want to hurt the bird.... Maybe if she asked nicely, it would give her a few feathers?
Picking up another couple toys and tossing them into the box, she noticed Taran giving her more attention than the floor. Sighing, she padded back over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck, resting her head onto his chest, the top of her head just barely passing the base of his neck. "I know." She said softly. "And I'll always want you."

Taran kissed the top of her head. His tail flicked slightly, knowing that he needed to get back to work. The house was cleaner, but it still needed some work. "If the children are outside once we're done, we could spend some time together?"
Korbin Lyric had found his way closer to the beach. He knelt down, finding a small seashell that had several colors on it. That would be pretty for their butterfly! Looking up, the little kitten tried to keep his tail moving when he took each step to hopefully not lose balance. He turned to show his sister, but he couldn't see her right off. Trying to retrace his steps, he saw his sister looking at a bright red bird. "Ohhh..."

Rosa snuck up as close as possible to the red bird, flicking her ears when she heard Korbin. See? Even he knew the bird was pretty! It had to give them at least one feather! "Little bird?" She cooed softly, putting out her hand.
Startled by the voice and how close the cervi was, the previously napping bird squawked and flapped wildly, making Rosa squeak and duck her head. When the flapping ceased, Rosa looked up in disappointment at the now empty branch.
Purring and giggling softly, Mistaya nuzzled her cheek against Taran. "Maybe we could just spend some time together now... Then the children can start learning about cleaning up there things at night before bed."
